That happens because they aren’t successful in innovating their products, but only imitating and following their competitors. Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS) offers a new strategy in competition, which makes competitors, not enemies but makes them more motivated to change the spirit of the institutional environment. The purpose of this research studied BOS in Islamic educational institutions, which includes mapping strategies in creating a market space where there are no competitors, strategies in making the competition irrelevant, and its implications in Islamic educational institutions. This study used qualitative methods through field research type. Data obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and study of documents. The results of this study concluded that: 1) The strategy of mapping educational institutions in creating market opportunities that have no competitors is by creating innovations that do not yet exist in other levels of the educational institution; 2) Institutional strategies in making competition no longer relevant are carried out by always showing innovations that are applied to other institution without a cover-up (always open); 3) The implications of BOS in the educational institution can be seen in terms of the output produced which can be realized through graduates who can be used both in companies and in educational institutions in need.","PeriodicalId":146510,"journal":{"name":"Asian Social Science and Humanities Research Journal (ASHREJ)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121337298","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This information includes the dissemination of photographic images seen in various forms. The Internet is also seen as a tool to convince the public of an event. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to see what are the main factors that influence students to tend to do the sharing of photographic images in the online community. The method used for this research was a focus group discussion (FGD) consisting of 21 informants aged 20 - 25 years old. All informants are students of the University College of Yayasan Pahang (UCYP). To see the basis of the spread of a photographic image, Narrative Theory has been used to support this study. The findings of the study found that several factors are seen as the main factors of image sharing online. Among them is the use of themes in the image and the emotions found in the image. In addition, ‘subject matter’ and ethics is an important factor that is evaluated before a photographic image is shared. However, some informants do not take any action instead are more interested in sharing photographic images. This is due to the lack of exposure to photography and the use of the media itself.","PeriodicalId":146510,"journal":{"name":"Asian Social Science and Humanities Research Journal (ASHREJ)","volume":"77 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128085420","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The emergence of short story writers in North Sumatra gives a new color in carrying the wisdom of the local culture. The content of short stories loaded with cultural contents is implicitly conveyed to provide knowledge about the culture itself that begins to fade. Problems in this study include how to examine local wisdom in the short stories of North Sumatra authorship. The theory used is Cultural Theory and Literary Anthropology, which is very relevant in exploring aspects of local wisdom in the content of the short stories. Qualitative descriptive methods are used in identifying and analyzing the contents of such short stories and then interpreted in the context of related local cultural wisdom. This of course requires an objective narrative so that the explanation does not deviate from the cultural packages of North Sumatra. The results of the research obtained illustrate the strength of local wisdom that appears in the content of the North Sumatra authorship short story. Aspects of the language system, social system, livelihood system, and arts represent local wisdom from the analysis of north Sumatra's authorship short stories. These values are examined from the background and from dialogues that arise from the contents of short stories and then constructed according to the theory used.","PeriodicalId":146510,"journal":{"name":"Asian Social Science and Humanities Research Journal (ASHREJ)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124185027","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this purpose, a sample of ten LRs was selected from RAs published in local and international English-medium journals in linguistics between 2013 and 2019. The study deployed hybrid techniques and approaches for data collection (random/non-random sampling) and data analysis (genre-based/corpus-driven and qualitative/quantitative). Findings showed rhetorical variation in the LRs written by both groups, especially concerning Move 2 and Move 3 that were used more frequently in the international sample than in the local one, where the focus was on Move 1. In addition, some new steps emerged. The findings also shed light on the problems within the rhetorical structure of the LRs published locally, implying that the lack of rhetorical knowledge is one of the major reasons that hinder writing professional LRs. This paper contributes to a better understanding of the generic structure of RA LRs by proposing a modified version of Kwan's (2006) model. It has pedagogical implications for teaching Egyptian and apprentice researchers how to write more effective RA LRs. Future studies on a larger corpus of complete RAs written by Egyptian and international researchers in soft and hard sciences are needed to provide more generalizable findings.","PeriodicalId":146510,"journal":{"name":"Asian Social Science and Humanities Research Journal (ASHREJ)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129195043","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
