Industrial activity does not only produce products of sale value. During the production process, waste is also generated. Not a few of these wastes fall into the category of hazardous waste. If this kind of waste is disposed of immediately without being treated in a sewage treatment plant, the waste will pollute the environment. Unfortunately, not a few companies deliberately ignore waste management regulations. Many of them prefer to dispose of hazardous waste for reasons of cost savings. Yet if this is done, the company will also suffer losses. It was predicted that more than ten percent of traffic accidents had caused fatalities and most of the victims in Jakarta were bikers. The research method used was a qualitative method using judgment samples or purposive sampling used for selected informants in helping researchers answer research questions in case studies. The research instrument used was the Strength-WeaknessOpportunity-Threat analysis toward the road safety management system and transportation sector as well as the feasibility study of public road space redistribution and the traffic flow in downtown of Jakarta. The results of this study were expected to result from a national action plan as part of a new transportation policy that is formed in everyday life as self-reflection, mutual learning, active participation and empowerment. The results of this study were expected to produce public safety service products in the form of policies, Standard Operation Procedures, and education to the public of Jakarta. Just standard design could not guarantee road safety in all conditions, so it needed to further evaluation and research to measure the impact of a planning decision on safety.","PeriodicalId":145800,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Commerce and Management Studies","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123185448","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The evaluation was carried out through identifying the strengths, challenges and recommendations of the process. The study has also linked the challenges that the process is facing in post-conflict Iraq to the political, economic, social and cultural factors that play the greatest role in making this process what it is. The study adopted a multiple case study as the research strategy, using Saunders Onion model. Use of a multiple-case study has allowed the researcher to ensure precision and validity. Findings showed that the delivery process has manifested some strengths in post-conflict Iraq. The study also made recommendations that are derived from the features of the school building delivery process gaps and complexities. In this paper, application of evaluation technical expertise was examined based on skill sets including techniques, technology and technical management oversight that are needed to ensure effective tracking of strategy and actions against approved goals and targets are executed. In most developing countries, poor performance of local NGO strategies has in the past been blamed on poor uptake of evaluation technical expertise(skillsets). The main goal of this study was to examine the relationship between evaluation technical expertise and strategy performance of local NGOs in Uganda. The study used a cross sectional study design using mostly quantitative survey methods. The study drew 349 participants comprising of field workers, mid-level staff and executives from local NGO from all parts of Uganda. The study found that there was positive correlation between evaluation technical expertise and the study constructs of fund stability (r=.219**) community satisfaction (r=- 220**) and timelines(r=-.166**). This study concludes that the correlation is positive but the extent to which it influences strategy performance is still weak. The study recommends the use of sub regional peer support mechanisms by NGO forums and voluntary associations coupled with additional incremental annual self-assessment ratings to address the weakness in evaluation technical expertise.","PeriodicalId":145800,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Commerce and Management Studies","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116321243","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study utilized secondary data of eighty (80) rural banks retrieved from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) website. Frequency and percentage were applied to answer the problem set of the study. There was a corresponding formula and criteria used to come up with the CAMELS rating. A rating of 5 corresponds to excellent performance, while a rating of 1 considers the poor performance of the rural bank involved. In general, the results of the CAMEL analysis indicate that sampled rural banks have excellent performance in both Capital Adequacy and Management Quality. They have satisfactory performance on Earnings Quality but poor performance in Asset Quality, Liquidity, and Sensitivity to Market Risk. Thus, the researcher concludes that all rural banks under study have provided ongoing competition in achieving their respective objectives as to financial performance.","PeriodicalId":145800,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Commerce and Management Studies","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126657590","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
