He willingly obeyed God, not out of law, but out of love. In the course of his life, Abraham was an obedient and God-fearing man. In addition, the story in Genesis chapter 22 becomes a severe test in Abraham's life, where God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his only son as a burnt offering (Gen 22:2a). This article aims to find the meaning of Abraham's obedience in offering Isaac in Genesis 22:1-19. The method used is narrative analysis. The result is in this case explaining how the life of Abraham who always feared God as evidence of faith in God. Abraham's life can be a guide for the Christian life today. In this context, Abraham is an example of faith, how people live in obedience to God by giving the best, namely the most beloved son in Abraham's life.Abstrak: Dalam kehidupan Abraham, ketaatan merupakan prinsip yang memotivasi kehidupannya. Ia dengan rela menaati Allah, bukan karena hukum, melainkan karena kasih. Di dalam perjalanan hidupnya, Abraham adalah seorang yang taat dan takut kepada Tuhan. Selain itu, kisah di Kejadian pasal 22 menjadi ujian yang berat dalam hidup Abraham, dimana Allah memerintahkan Abraham untuk mengorbankan anaknya yang tunggal menjadi kurban bakaran (Kej 22:2a). Artikel ini bertujuan menemukan makna ketaatan abraham dalam mempersembahkan ishak di Kejadian 22:1-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dekriptif dengan pendekatan hermeneutik analisa naratif. Hasilnya adalah dalam hal ini ini menjelaskan bagaimana ketaatan Abraham dalam mempersembahkan Ishak si Kejadian 22:1-19. Kehidupan Abraham yang taat akan Allah sebagai bukti iman kepada Allah. Kehidupan Abraham dapat menjadi pedoman bagi kehidupan orang Kristen pada zaman sekarang ini. This article intends to examine the contribution of fathers in instilling patience in children in Christian families. By using the description method and supported by literature review, it is hoped that it can provide a clear, in-depth picture, and have an academic footing related to patience in the Bible description, the importance of patience for children, and the maximum contribution that fathers can make in instilling patience in children. It was concluded that fathers greatly contributed to instilling patience in children when actively involved in educating children, introducing patience as early as possible, understanding this is a long-term effort, a unique form of affection for children, and the closest example that can be imitated by children.Abstrak: Kesabaran penting diajarkan oleh ayah kepada anaknya karena sangat relevan, berdampak pada kecerdasan sosial emosional anak, serta terkait dengan kesuksesan anak dimasa depan. Artikel ini bermaksud menelisik kontribusi ayah dalam menanamkan kesabaran pada anak di keluarga Kristiani. Dengan menggunakan metode deskripsi dan didukung oleh kajian literatur diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran yang jelas, mendalam, serta memiliki pijakan akademik terkait dengan kesabaran dalam gambaran Alkitab, pentingnya kesabaran bagi anak, dan kontribusi maksimal yang ayah bisa berikan dalam menanamkan kesabaran pada anak. One of the most important things is that God Himself has laid down the task of caring for, nurturing, and educating the congregation into His power and calling. Shepherds who must prepare the congregation to live in favor of God. The purpose of this study is to explain the duties and roles of shepherds in faith-building or the so-called discipleship. Discipleship is a command of God called the great commission in Matthew 28:19 it says \"Make all nations my disciples.\" in discipleship lessons is to \"know God and become disciples of Christ. Therefore, a person who has received Jesus Christ must be immediately discipled, so that his character is immediately formed towards a better direction and a skill in serving so as to have a knowledge of the truths of God's Word. The method used in the research is a qualitative description (case study) of the role of the shepherd in leading the congregation to be more effective. The shepherd's job in serving the congregation is to \"nurture believers and unbelievers to grow up in the faith and become disciples of the Lord Jesus. Being a disciple of the Lord Jesus is a command that the Shepherd must work on, therefore the shepherd must have a knowledge of God's Word, an understanding of the basics of the Christian faith, character building, and the gift of serving.Abstrak:Gembala adalah orang yang membimbing jemaat dalam penggembalaan, adalah tugas yang cukup berat karena membimbin, merawat, mengasuh, dan mendidik jemaat adalah tugas gembala yang mulai dan agung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan tugas dan peran gembala dalam pembinaan iman atau yang disebut pemuridan. Pemuridan adalah perintah Allah yang disebut amanat agung dalam Matius 28:19 dikatakan “Jadikanlah semua bangsa muridKu.” dalam pelajaran pemuridan adalah “mengenal Allah dan menjadi murid Kristus. Oleh sebab itu, seorang yang telah menerima Yesus Kristus harus segera dimuridkan, agar karakternya segera dibentuk menuju ke arah yang lebih baik serta kecakapan dalam melayani sehingga memiliki pengetahuan tentang kebenaran-kebenaran Firman Tuhan. Metode yang digunakna dalam peneltian adalah kualitatif deskripsi (studi kasus) tentang peran gembala dalam memimpin jemaat supaya lebih efektif. Tugas gembala dalam melayani jemaat adalah“membina orang percaya maupun orang yang belum percaya supaya semakin bertumbuh dewasa dalam iman dan menjadi murid Tuhan Yesus. The urgency of this topic is elaborated considering that in the present day digitalization has been cultivated from various aspects. With today's digital age, the church needs to adapt evangelism according to the context and era in which the church exists. This paper uses the approach of digital religion and literature methods to answer two questions on the topic, how is digitalized religion? And how is the establishment of church that digitalizes? The results of the description on this topic suggest that, the church establishment in a digital context can start from the establishment of a virtual church. Although the virtual church is not in the physical form, religious activities can be felt and experienced by believers through the virtual church. The establishment of the church in a digital context can be done by establishing a virtual communion. The virtual communion serves as a forum to unite people of faith in Jesus. The virtual communion is an alternative to the establishment of digital church. The establishment of digital churches can preserve evangelism as mandated by the Great Commission.Abstrak:Tulisan ini membahas secara spesifik bagaimana perintisan gereja dilakukan dalam konteks digital. Urgensitas topik ini diuraikan mengingat masa kini digitalisasi telah membudaya di berbagai aspek. Dengan zaman digital saat ini, gereja perlu menyesuaikan perintisan sesuai dengan konteks dan zaman dimana gereja berada. Tulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan metode digital dan literatur dengan menjawab dua pertanyaan pada topik, bagaimana tentang agama yang terdigitalisasi? Serta bagaimana penanaman gereja yang meng digital? Hasil uraian pada topik ini mengemukakan bahwa, pengamanan gereja dalam konteks digital dapat dimulai dari pendirian gereja virtual. Walau gereja virtual tidak bersifat fisik, namun aktivitas keagamaan dapat dirasa dan dialami orang percaya melalui gereja virtual ini. Penanaman gereja dalam konteks digital dapat dilakukan dengan membangun persekutuan virtual. Persekutuan virtual sebagai wadah mempersatukan orang yang seiman kepada Yesus. Persekutuan virtual sebagai alternatif dalam penanam gereja secara mendigital. Acts of love are often understood as a way to get salvation, but salvation is obtained through faith in Christ. Humans are very familiar with sin, and sin is a debt that must be paid in full to God. But nothing can be given to God as a ransom for sin. But God gave His love by sending His only begotten Son to redeem mankind from the debt of sin. Without love, humans cannot get forgiveness. But man must first have faith in God so that through faith man obtains forgiveness. The purpose of this study is so that the reader can understand the spiritual meaning in Luke 7:40-43. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach using the exegesis method of 4 layers of biblical meaning. The 4 layers of biblical meaning are historia, theoria, moral and anagogic. So that the result of text research is that human love gets forgiveness/salvation but it works through faith, and doing love is a response to forgiveness/salvation from God. So, forgiveness/salvation is not obtained by works/acts of love but through faith. The act of love is a form or form of gratitude to God who has given forgiveness to humans.Abstrak:Memiliki karakter kasih merupakan hal yang identik sebagai pengikut Kristus. Perbuatan kasih sering dimengerti sebagai jalan untuk mendapatkan keselamatan, padahal keselamatan diperoleh melalui iman kepada Kristus. Manusia sangat akrab dengan dosa, dan dosa adalah hutang yang harus dibayar lunas kepada Allah. Tetapi tidak ada yang bisa diberikan kepada Allah sebagai tebusan dosa. Namun Allah memberikan kasih-Nya dengan mengutus Anak-Nya yang tunggal untuk menebus manusia dari hutang dosa. Tanpa kasih maka manusia tidak memperoleh pengampunan. Tetapi manusia harus memiliki iman terlebih dahulu kepada Allah sehingga melalui iman manusia memperoleh pengampunan. Tujuan penelitian ini supaya pembaca dapat memahami spiritual meaning dalam Lukas 7:40-43. Metode penelitia yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan menggunakanmetode eksegesis 4 lapisan makna Alkitab. Ke-4 lapisan makna Alkitab tersebut adalah historia, theoria, moral dan anagogic. Sehingga hasil penelian teks adalah oleh kasih manusia memperoleh pengampunan/keselamatan tetapi itu bekerja melalui iman, dan melakukan kasih merupakan respon terhadap pengampunan/keselamatan dari Allah. Jadi, pengampunan/keselamatan tidak didapat karena perbuatan/tindakan kasih tetapi melalui iman. The mentoring program is an option that can be used as a means to minimize the character and actions of youth shoots that do not reflect the character of the Lord Jesus. This study aims to determine how much influence it has, and also to find out the results of the mentoring program in shaping character, so this research focuses on the implementation of the Christian Religious Education mentoring program held at the Voice of the Bible Church. With the intention that in the end this mentoring program is expected to form early adolescents with character. This study uses quantitative methods with research subjects consisting of mentors, mentors, and mentoring participants. The result of this program is that there is an influence of the mentoring program on juvenile shoots so that teenage buds get a change in character, namely discipline, honesty, independence, tolerance, responsibility, good morals, a sense of wanting to help, a sense of wanting to help, a sense of caring for others, a sense of caring for the environment, a sense of belonging. want to help, be polite, and also respect others through character building through a mentoring program at the Voice of the Truth Gospel Church in Artha Gading Mall Rehobot by 64.3%.Abstrak:Saat ini yang pra-remaja atau tunas remaja dalam menghadapi perkembangannya baik dari segi fisik, emosional, dan spiritual seharusnya dibimbing, didukung dan juga dibina agar tidak salah langkah dalam melewati tahap perkembangan kehidupannya. Program mentoring menjadi pilihan yang dapat dijadikan sebagai sarana dalam meminimalisir karakter dan tindakan-tindakan tunas remaja yang tidak mencerminkan karakter Tuhan Yesus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruhnya, dan juga mengetahui hasil program mentoring dalam membentuk karakter, sehingga penelitian ini berfokus pada pelaksanaan program mentoring Pendidikan Agama Kristen yang diadakan di Gereja Suara Kebenaran Injil. Dengan maksud pada akhirnya program mentoring ini diharapkan dapat membentuk remaja awal yang berkarakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian terdiri atas pembina mentoring, mentor, dan peserta mentoring. The method used is the descriptive qualitative method. By collecting literature in the form of books and journals related to corruption, corrupt behavior, church and corruption, and Christian ethics - using the tools Publish or Perish, and VOS viewer. Information collected and synthesized to find potential aspects of corruption in the church, namely: Pastors from business backgrounds, church financial management that is not transparent, the Church becomes a place for money laundering, hedonic/materialistic lifestyles of pastors and assemblies, and the existence of prosperity theology. The church's efforts to minimize corrupt practices are: Pastors do not do business, the Church forms a foundation that manages church businesses, transparent church financial management is audited using a public accountant, emphasizes a simple lifestyle, and correct biblical-theological education through interpretation (hermeneutic exegesis) and not misinterpretation (eisegesis hermeneutic). This effort is carried out in awareness of the consequences, obligations, and responsibilities of Christians who have high ethical-moral standards, namely the Bible.Abstrak:Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menemukan aspek potensi korupsi dalam gereja dan cara meminimalisir perilaku korupsi tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Dengan mengumpulkan literatur-literatur berupa buku-buku dan jurnal-jurnal yang berhubungan dengan korupsi, perilaku korupsi, gereja dan korupsi, dan etika kristen - menggunakan alat bantu Publish or Perish, dan VOSviewer. Informasi yang dikumpulkan dan disintesis sehingga menemukan aspek potensi korupsi dalam gereja yaitu: Pendeta dari latar belakang pebisnis, pengelolaan keuangan gereja yang tidak transparan, Gereja menjadi tempat pencucian uang, gaya hidup hedonis/materialistik pendeta dan majelis, dan adanya teologi kemakmuran.  Upaya gereja untuk meminimalkan praktek korupsi yaitu: Pendeta tidak berbisnis, Gereja membentuk Yayasan yang mengelola bisnis gereja, pengelolaan keuangan gereja secara transparan diaudit menggunakan seorang akuntan publik, menekankan gaya hidup sederhana, dan pendidikan teologi alkitabiah yang benar melalui penafsiran (eksegesis hermeneutic) dan bukan penafsiran yang keliru (eisegesis hermeneutic). People find it challenging to comprehend and experience the meaning of the peace that comes through Christ as a result. Some people even believe that God is a myth. In accordance with Colossians 3:15, the purpose of this study is to clarify the idea of living in peace in Christ. A syntactic text analysis methodology was employed in this text, focusing on the text itself and connecting it to other texts as well as a combination of books and journals. The findings demonstrate that, in of Colossians 3:15, a life of peace can only be found in Christ because He is the Only One capable of defeating human nature. However, believers need to experience union with the peace of Christ and allow Christ to reign in the heart. So that believers will continue to be nurtured by the love and grace of God that remains alive in believers.Abstrak:Hidup damai merupakan dambaan dari semua orang sebab tantangan dan masalah hidup tidak pernah lepas dari kehidupan orang beriman. Hal ini membuat orang-orang sulit untuk mengerti dan merasakan arti damai sejahtera yang berasal dari Kristus. Bahkan ada yang beranggapan bahwa Tuhan tidak ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan konsep hidup damai sejahtera dalam Kristus menurut Kolose 3:15. Metode yang digunakan dalam teks ini adalah pendekatan analisis teks secara sintaksis yang fokus pada teks itu sendiri dan dihubungkan dengan teks-teks lainnya serta perpaduan dengan buku juga jurnal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan Kolose 3:15, hidup damai sejahterah hanya ada di dalam Kristus sebab Kristus adalah Pribadi yang bisa menaklukan hati manusia. Akan tetapi orang orang beriman perlu mengalami penyatuan dengan damai sejahtera Kristus dan mengizinkan Kristus yang memerintah didalam hati. The results of this evaluation are concluded: first, in terms of context, the Master of Active Writing program is very important and needed by the PAK Masters Study Program. Second, in terms of input, the program refers to the vision and mission of the PAK Masters Study Program. Third, in terms of process, the implementation of the Master of Active Writing program has been carried out well as an extra-curricular activity. Learning materials and implementation methods are as needed. Fourth, in terms of products, the results of the program are the publication of scientific papers or student research reports in several journals. Broadly speaking, the Master of Active Writing program has answered the needs and objectives set by the PAK Masters Study Program, STT Ecumenism, Jakarta.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan evaluasi program dengan model Context Input Process and Product) terhadap program belajar menulis di prodi Magister PAK Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Ekumene Jakarta yang diberi label program Magister Aktif Menulis. Hasil evaluasi ini disimpulkan: pertama, segi konteks, program Magister Aktif Menulis sangat penting dan dibutuhkan oleh prodi Magister PAK. Kedua, segi input, program tersebut mengacu kepada visi misi prodi Magister PAK. Ketiga, segi proses, penyelenggaraan program Magister Aktif Menulis telah dilakukan dengan baik sebagai kegiatan ekstra kurikuler. Materi pembelajaran dan metode pelaksanaan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Keempat, segi produk, hasil program tersebut yaitu diterbitkannya karya tulis ilmiah atau laporan penelitian mahasiswa pada beberapa jurnal. Against the backdrop of the condition of Gereja Tuhan Di Indonesia, which is 50 years old in 2021 and there have been several changes of leadership, but the growth of the church is still not as expected. The formulation of the problem raised is how does the competence of spiritual leaders affect the growth of Gereja Tuhan Di Indonesia? How does the influence of the interrelationship of spiritual leaders on the growth of Gereja Tuhan Di Indonesia? How does the influence of competence and interrelationship of spiritual leaders on the growth of Gereja Tuhan Di Indonesia? This research was carried out using quantitative methods, sampling techniques with regional samples, data collection using questionnaires, and statistical data analysis. Research questionnaires were distributed, filled out by respondents and collected from 39 samples, representing church officials from major islands in Indonesia, Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua. After using quantitative methods, data analysis using the SPSS application, the results showed that the competence of spiritual leaders and the interrelation of spiritual leaders simultaneously had a positive effect on church growth, but not significant.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi dan interelasi pemimpin rohani terhadap pertumbuhan Gereja Tuhan Di Indonesia. Dilatar belakangi kondisi Gereja Tuhan Di Indonesia yang telah berusia 50 tahun pada tahun 2021 ini dan telah terjadi beberapa kali pergantian pucuk kepemimpinan, tetapi pertumbuhan gereja masih belum sesuai dengan harapan. Rumusan masalah yang diangkat adalah bagaimanakah pengaruh kompetensi pemimpin rohani terhadap pertumbuhan Gereja Tuhan Di Indonesia? Bagaimanakah pengaruh interelasi pemimpin rohani terhadap pertumbuhan Gereja Tuhan Di Indonesia? Bagaimanakah pengaruh kompetensi dan interelasi pemimpin rohani terhadap pertumbuhan Gereja Tuhan Di Indonesia? Penelitian ini dikerjakan dengan metode kuantitatif, teknik pengambilan sampel dengan sampel wilayah, pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, dan analisis data bersifat statistik. Angket penelitian disebarkan, telah diisi oleh responden dan terkumpul dari 39 sampel, merupakan perwakilan dari pejabat gereja dari pulau-pulau besar di Indonesia, pulau Sumatera, Jawa, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, dan Papua.
