Through the years, different generic data encryption standards have been developed. Although these encryption standards provide a high level of data protection, they are not efficient in the encryption of multimedia contents due to the large volume of digital image/video data. In order to address this issue, different image/video encryption methodologies have been developed. These methodologies encrypt only the key parameters of image/video data instead of encrypting the entire bit stream. In addition, researchers start to utilize information hiding techniques to augment the security level of data encryption methodologies. The future direction of multimedia information security will be on the clever interweaving of encryption, information hiding, and lossless compression to enhance the security of multimedia systems. This paper presents a state-of-the-technology review of these processes and suggests future research directions.","PeriodicalId":143959,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126034668","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the traditional MFCC is very sensitive to noise interference, which tends to drastically degrade the performance of recognition systems because of the mismatches between training and testing. In this paper, we proposed a new speaker recognition algorithm based on the dynamic MFCC parameters. As the human auditory system can sensitively perceive the pitch changes in the speech, the algorithm, which combines the speaker information obtained by the MFCC with the pitch, can dynamically construct a set of Mel-filters according to the results of pitch detection. The Mel-filters are then used to extract the dynamic MFCC parameter, which represents the speaker's identity characteristics, and enhance accuracy of speaker recognition. The experimental results show that the method can perform well in a real environment and improve much on robustness in a noisy environment. The recognition rate in different signal-to-noise ratio conditions is obviously excelled to that of traditional MFCC with 5 to 6 percentage points higher on average.","PeriodicalId":143959,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131199103","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Traditional human-computer interaction is realized by the keyboard and the mouse of computer, but they can not be moved freely. The light pen can be carried more conveniently, so this paper puts forward to move the model in the virtual environment by the light pen. The experiment results shown make clear that automatic tracking of the shoot point under dynamic and complex background can be realized by the improved Camshift algorithm. Moving the model in the virtual environment by the light pen is also more stable. Therefore, we can say that real-time tracking of the shoot point from the light pen based on the improved method has important practical values in human-computer interaction.","PeriodicalId":143959,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133249054","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main hardware of an ETNDRIIC includes DSP, FPGA, CMOS, and DM9000. FPGA is used as an interface between DSP and CMOS, and it is easy for an ETNDRIIC to support different image sensors with different driven processes. In this system, a new, optimized algorithm, a restricted Laplacian sharpening algorithm, is adopted and is realized in DSP. The noise of image is depressed effectively through the algorithm and edges of the image after processing the images is distinct, the details are also obeserved. The ethernet interface is integrated to implement a long-distance image transmission. It is more convenient to build a network with the camera for any complex auto manufacturing systems, which need more image information. It is proved that an ETNDRIIC is an advanced piece of equipment that is able to gather industry images for measuring.","PeriodicalId":143959,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131867160","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the gridding method, which is a kind of algorithm for Fast Fourier Transform, is widely used in fast MRI reconstruction. In this paper, an improved gridding method has been utilized to 2D MRI reconstruction, which precomputes an 1D finely sampled table of a high-accuracy interpolator and then uses separable bilinear interpolation by look-up table. Experimental comparisons are made by assessing the performance of the direct reconstruction, the conventional KB gridding and the proposed method. According to the feature of the wavelet transform's energy distribution, the scalar quantization is used to quantify sub-band coefficients of high frequency in order to reduce the IZ(Isolated Zero); the threshold sequence is then adjusted in the process of the successive approximation quantization to minimize distortion when recovering images in this paper. In the past few years, several gray-level image watermarking algorithms have been proposed, but few of them can be applied to color image. A digital watermarking algorithm for a color watermark embedded into a color host image, based on color space transform and IWT (Integer Wavelet Transform), is proposed. According to the Human Visual System peculiarity and quantizing the wavelet coefficient, Encrypted watermark is embedded adaptively into the luminance Y of the YIQ mode in IWT domain. The proposed algorithm allows extracting the watermark without the help of the original watermark and host image.
