A questionnaire was designed and distributed to 540 individuals working in service sectors, with a specific emphasis on the banking sector in Nigeria. Of these, 406 responses were collected. Statistical analyses including regression analysis using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) and one-way ANOVA were employed to test the research hypotheses.\u0000The findings revealed that overall, HRM practices, including HR planning, staffing, training & development, and performance appraisal, demonstrated high levels of effectiveness. However, the efficacy of remuneration was deemed to be moderate. Employee contentment levels were found to be moderate as well. Importantly, a strong positive correlation was observed between the effectiveness of HRM practices and employee contentment. The report suggests that banks should enhance their financial compensation policies to improve employee morale and contentment. Additionally, it recommends conducting comparative studies between commercial banks and Islamic banks to gain further insights.","PeriodicalId":14374,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research -GRANTHAALAYAH","volume":"62 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140264547","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study was done on male tennis players aged 18 to 28 years who play competitive tennis at the State and National Levels in India. The tools used to measure the variables were The Mindfulness Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS) by Brown & Ryan (2003), Sports Imagery Ability Questionnaire by Williams & Cumming (2014) and Athlete’s Subjective Performance Scale (ASPS) by Nahum et al. (2016). The results of the study show that the national-level tennis players had better self-reported satisfaction scores than the state-level players. Zero-order correlations showed that there was a statistically significant, moderate, positive correlation between Mindfulness and mental imagery (r(53) = -.304, n = 55, p < .05), indicating that subjective sports performance satisfaction had very little influence in controlling for the relationship between Mindfulness score and mental imagery.","PeriodicalId":14374,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research -GRANTHAALAYAH","volume":"5 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140266887","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The greed of man for better and better living are costing dearly in terms of vanishing natural wealth. It is not a matter of concern only for the scientists and environmental activists for envisaging proper action plan to protect our nature, but sensible minds in the field of art and culture have also expressed great care for nature and prudence that would be the source of abiding inspiration for the future generations. The Bengali literature is a treasure trove of wonderful portrayal of the natural world and the richness of forest in our country. Strating from Rabindranath, Bibhutibhushan, Manik Bandyopadhyay to Buddhadeb Guha, Sunil Gangopadhyay, we find profound consciousness for natural world and the theme of forest depicted as the principal elements in their creative arc. The present article delves deep into the history of Bengali Literature to explore the unfettered bondage of those masterminds with nature and its impact on human relation.","PeriodicalId":14374,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research -GRANTHAALAYAH","volume":"17 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140409622","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this study is to examine the managerial skills and issues that GETFund contractors employ. The aim of this study is to investigate the challenges faced by GETFund construction project managers, pinpoint the factors that affect GETFund project performance, and suggest practical solutions to improve GETFund project execution in the Upper West Region. For this study, a descriptive survey research design was chosen. One hundred and forty-eight construction firms, twenty-one consultancies, and sixty-five clients made up the sample for the study. A questionnaire was the main method used to collect data. A descriptive statistical analysis was performed on the data. The study's conclusions showed that political and financial issues are the main barriers to the effective execution of GETFund building projects. Moreover, scheduling, and financial issues pose the biggest obstacles to the region's successful implementation of GETFund construction projects. Furthermore, the survey found that the majority of contractors' agents carrying out GETFund projects lack the technical expertise, resources, and manpower required, which makes it challenging for them to comprehend and interpret the criteria and drawings that project consultants provide them. According to the report, in-service training should be offered by reputable regulatory organizations like the Building and Road Research Institute (BRRI) to improve employees' capacity to manage firms.","PeriodicalId":14374,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research -GRANTHAALAYAH","volume":"30 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140415405","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Fabrication and offshore installation design of these large floating structures is required to provide confidence to developers and insurers that they are constructed in a safe and cost effective manner. The design methods developed in this paper cover the substructure types such as Spars, semi submersibles, barges and TLPs. The engineering of mooring types includes catenary, taut and tension, plus turret mooring.This paper details the preparation of engineering requirements for installation vessels and large onshore cranes used for the shipyard construction of substructures for floating wind. Each installation phase, for a floating offshore wind turbine, raises issues regarding existing construction methods and the need to develop revised installation works.The engineering processes include mooring installation and connection. In addition consideration of load-out analysis, ocean transportation analysis including sea-fastening, intact stability and tow motion response. Installation analysis is required for lifting, up-ending, afloat construction, and cable lay methods.Floating offshore wind turbines are offering a new approach to using marine resources and this paper will provide information on how naval engineering can be used to promote this development.","PeriodicalId":14374,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research -GRANTHAALAYAH","volume":"1998 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140416930","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, roughly 95 to 99% of soil phosphorus is found as insoluble phosphates and is therefore unavailable for plant uptake. The current investigation characterized a bacterial strain that was obtained from contaminated soil and showed the ability to solubilize insoluble inorganic phosphates. An efficient phosphate-solubilizing bacterium was isolated in polluted soil in Mumbai. The phosphate solubilization index of this isolate was assessed using tribasic calcium phosphate-supplemented Pikovskaya’s (PVK) medium. After growing under constant agitation for seven days, the medium pH decreased from 7.0 to 3.5 units. Based on the colony morphology, microscopic analysis, and MALDI-TOF sequencing, the bacterial isolate was identified as Klebsiella pneumoniae. Phosphate solubilization was linked to a pH drop caused by bacterial growth in a medium with glucose as a carbon source. The secretion of organic acids by these phosphate-solubilizing bacteria is responsible for their ability to solubilize inorganic phosphate. GC-MS analysis revealed the presence of carbamic acid, dodecanoic acid, tetra decanoic acid, and trifluoroacetic acid in the culture supernatant. The amount of phosphate solubilized by the bacterium was determined by phosphomolybdate assay and was found to be 667.0 ug/ml which was much higher than the control bacterium S. aureus which was 131.0 ug/ml. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report mentioning the isolation of phosphate solubilizing bacterium from polluted soil in Mumbai.","PeriodicalId":14374,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research -GRANTHAALAYAH","volume":"4 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140479675","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data was collected from 100 healthcare workers in various hospitals across Saudi Arabia. More than half of the healthcare workers believed privatizing the healthcare sector would hurt employment security and increase the workload and hours worked per week, whether the employees have permanent or temporary contracts.However, the workers have a positive perception of work conditions related to progression, teamwork support, the level of training, incentives, and other benefits. The employees also positively perceive the level of participation in decision-making, including training requirements and how assigned tasks are completed. Healthcare workers with fewer years of experience are more optimistic about privatization. Moreover, although the regulations left the authority to determine the appropriate privatization strategy for each governmental organization based on their specific needs and objectives, employees positively perceive the relationship between the privatized organization and the HRSD Ministry.","PeriodicalId":14374,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research -GRANTHAALAYAH","volume":" 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139617213","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
