Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas cabai rawit akibat perbedaan dosis pupuk NPK DGW Compaction dan konsentrasi POC dari limbah kulit pisang serta untuk mengetahui interaksi antara dosis pupuk NPK DGW Compaction dan konsentrasi POC dari limbah kulit pisang terhadap kualitas cabai rawit. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Kasa 1, Laboratorium Hortikultura, Laboratorium Ilmu dan Teknologi Benih, dan Laboratorium Pemuliaan Tanaman Universitas Syiah Kuala Kota Banda Aceh dari bulan Desember 2021 sampai bulan April 2022. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial 3 x 4 dengan 3 ulangan. Terdapat 2 (dua) faktor yang akan diteliti, faktor pertama adalah pemberian dosis pupuk NPK DGW Compaction dengan 3 taraf , tanpa pupuk NPK DGW Compaction (Kontrol), 3 g polibag -1, 6 g polibag -1. Faktor kedua adalah pemberian konsentrasi POC dari limbah kulit pisang dengan 4 taraf , tanpa POC (Kontrol), POC 150 ml L-1 air, 300 ml L-1 air dan 450 ml L-1 air. Parameter yang diamati adalah panjang buah, diameter buah, berat basah buah, pengukuran warna buah, pengujian organoleptik, kadar vitamin C dan kandungan Capsaicin. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK DGW Compaction 3 gram polibag-1, perlakuan konsentrasi POC dari limbah kulit pisang 150 ml L-1 air dan kombinasi antara perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK DGW Compaction 3 gram polibag-1 dan konsentrasi POC dari limbah kulit pisang 150 ml L-1 air menghasilkan kualitas cabai rawit terbaik. {"title":"Pengaruh Regrouping Lahan Terhadap Pendapatan Petani Tebu Binaan Pabrik Gula (Studi Kasus di Pabrik Gula Gempolkrep PT. Penentuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling di lima wilayah binaan Pabrik Gula Gempolkrep. Uji-t digunakan untuk membandingkan pendapatan antara petani regrouping lahan dan petani non-regrouping. Komponen pembanding yaitu: 1) biaya saprodi; 2) biaya tenaga kerja; 3) penerimaan gula; 4) penerimaan tetes; 5) total penerimaan; dan 6) total pendapatan. Memperkuat hasil digunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dan analisis kelayakan usahatani (RC ratio dan BEP). Variabel yang digunakan, meliputi: X1) upah tenaga kerja; X2) nilai sewa lahan; X3) harga benih; X4) harga phonska; X5) harga ZA; X6) harga amegrass; X7) harga sidamin; X8) fix input yang berupa luas lahan dan XD) Dummy (regrouping dan non-regrouping). Hasil uji-t menunjukkan terjadi beda nyata pada biaya tenaga kerja. Sementara komponen lainnya tidak menunjukkan beda nyata. Analisis regresi linier berganda menunjukkan nilai koefisien regresi yang positif, namun berdasarkan nilai signifikasi, dampak regrouping lahan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan petani. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, hanya variabel sewa lahan (X2) yang dinyatakan signifikan pada tingkat kepercayaan 99%. Peningkatan biaya sewa lahan bisa di akibatkan dari perluasan lahan yang berimplikasi pada produksi tebu dan pendapatan petani. Sementara pada hasil analisis kelayakan dengan RC ratio dan BEP, menunjukkan tidak terjadi beda nyata antara regrouping dan non – regrouping. Regrouping lahan di Pabrik Gula Gempolkrep belum berhasil untuk dilakukan karena minimnya luasan lahan yang tersedia. {"title":"THE GROWTH AND SURVIVAL RATE OF CATFISH (Clarias gariepinus) REARED INTENSIVELY USE BIO-FLOC TECHNOLOGY","authors":"S. The research used an experimental method, consists of two treatments. Treatment A was catfish reared uses Noni fruit (Morinda citrifolia) fermentation on culture media every seven days with a dose of 10 ml/liter. The treatment also uses papaya leaves as additional feed. Treatment B was catfish reared apply bio-floc technology use probiotics. Probiotic consists of Lactobacillus spp. and Thiobacillus spp. The addition of 5 grams of Lactobacillus spp. and 500 ml molasses in rearing media were carried out every seven days. The feed used in the experiment was fermented by Thiobacillus spp. and molasses at a dose of 150 ml/kg of feed. Two plastic tanks with a volume of 5000 L were used in the experiments. Amount 3000 catfish with the average initial body weight of 6 grams reared in each plastic tank. Catfish were fed twice daily with a feeding rate of 7%. Feed nutrition content was protein minimum 28%, fat maximum 4%, and fiber maximum 5%. Catfish were reared for 64 days. The research data consist of fish growth, feed conversion ratio, and survival rate of fish. Data were analyzed quantitatively descriptively. The results showed that survival rate of catfish in treatment B higher than treatment A, but growth of catfish in treatment B lower than treatment A. Feed conversion ratio in treatment A lower than treatment B. The specific growth rate, feed conversion ratio, and survival rate of catfish in treatment A were 5.19%, 69.83%, and 0.78, respectively. At the same time, the specific growth rate, feed conversion ratio, and survival rate of catfish in treatment B were 3.89%, 90.80%, and 0.95, respectively. Pineapple is a tropical fruit that is popular among the public, but it is perishable. In this study, gotu kola (Centella asiatica) and pectin were added to increase the nutritional content and health benefits of fruit leather. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the addition of gotu kola and pectin on the physicochemical and sensory properties of pineapple fruit leather and to find out the best concentration of gotu kola and pectin addition in making pineapple fruit leather based on these physicochemical and sensory properties. The study used a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with factor the addition of gotu kola concentrations and factor the addition of pectin. Observations were made on physicochemical properties including thickness, water content, Aw, pH, vitamin C, and color, as well as sensory properties, towards the color, taste, aroma, and texture of fruit leather. The data from the study were analyzed statistically with ANOVA and DMRT at a significance level of 5%. The results showed that the addition of gotu kola and pectin and the interaction of the two did not affect the water content, Aw, vitamin C, and the degree of redness (a), but the addition of gotu kola affected the pH value, brightness (L), yellowish degree (b), and sensory value of pineapple fruit leather. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of varieties and types of natural Plant Growth Regulatory (PGR) on germination and TSS vigor index. The study was conducted at the Seed Technology Laboratory of the Agricultural Development Polytechnic of Yogyakarta Magelang in July 2021 using a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor is shallot variety (V) consisting of 3 levels: V1 = Sanren, V2 = Maserati, and V3 = Lokananta. The second factor is Types of Natural plant Growth Regulators (Z) consisting of 4 types: Z0 = aquadest, Z1 = Shallot Extract, Z2 = bean sprout extract, and Z3 = young coconut water. Each treatment was repeated 3 times. Parameters observed were germination, growth speed and vigor index. Data analysis was carried out using a variance test (F test) and Duncan's multiple distance test (DMRT) with a level of 0.05. The results showed that the TSS variety significantly affected germination and growth speed. The type of natural PGR did not significantly affect the germination, but it did affect the growth speed. TSS varieties and natural PGR types significantly interacted with the vigor index parameter. The best vigor index was achieved when the Lokananta variety was treated with distilled water. The existing species of egg parasitoids in rice agroecosystems needs is known for their use as pest control an effective and efficient. The research aimed to determine of diversity, dominance, and parasitization levels for species of egg parasitoids in rice agroecosystems based on plant growth. The location research and sampling of parasitoids were done in Matangkuli and Syamtalira Aron sub-districts, North Aceh district, and Kuta Malaka sub-districts, Aceh Besar district, Province Aceh. The sampling was done in the vegetative stage from 20 to 40 and generative from 70 to 90 days after planting (DAT). Groups of eggs collected from the sampling location were then observed and identified at the Laboratory of Plant Pests and Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, Malikussaleh University, Aceh. The results showed that egg parasitoids found in the rice agroecosystem form Order Hymenoptera, superfamily Chalcidoidea, species Ooencyrtus malayensis (Encyrtidae) and Tetrastichus schoenobii (Eulophidae). Superfamily Platygasteroidae, species Telenomus triptus (Scelionidae) and Hadronotus leptocorisae (Scelionidae). The number of individuals and diversity of egg parasitoids were low in vegetative than generative. The evenness index in both growth stages belongs to high. Species of T. triptus and T. rowani were dominant egg parasitoids found in the rice agroecosystem in both growth stage. The advantage is that the harvest is faster and reduces the use of costs. Some farmers still cultivate corn until it is harvested to sell the corn as food. The advantage is that it has a longer shelf life. The difference in farmers' decisions in carrying out the corn sales system is influenced by the characteristics of farmers and external influences. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence farmers' decisions in conducting a corn crop selling system. The analysis used is agricultural and logit analysis. From the results of the study, it was found that the factors that had a significant effect on farmers' decisions in carrying out a corn sales system with a slashing system (tree selling) were the planting period and consumer guarantees with an error rate of 10% and farming costs with an error rate of 15%. Farmers in farming prefer the slashing system because the planting period is shorter, thereby reducing the costs incurred, especially maintenance costs and labor at harvest. Petani melakukan usaha tani telah berlangsung lama, namun tingkat keberhasilan masih kecil. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja yaitu, kualitas, kuantitas, dan efektivitas. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana kinerja petani swadaya kelapa sawit untuk meningkatkan produksinya dan apa kendala yang dialami dalam pelaksanaan usaha tani kelapa sawit swadaya. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan snowball sampling. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu secara kualitas, petani belum menerapkan prinsip-prinsip praktik budidaya yang baik. Petani dalam melakukan budidaya kelapa sawit masih sebatas otodidak atau belajar dengan petani swadaya satu dengan yang lainnya. Secara kuantitas petani swadaya belum mencapai kinerja yang baik, produksi per bulan sebesar 1.290 kg/Ha, produksi tersebut masih dibawah standar produksi. Secara efektivitas, pendapatan petani swadaya kelapa sawit yang mencapai Rp. 21.337.223/ha/tahun masih dibawah Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota (UMK) Kabupaten Pelalawan yaitu Rp.3.002.383/bulan. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh petani swadaya kelapa sawit di Desa Makmur yaitu masalah kualitas bibit dan varietas yang tidak teridentifikasi.
