Price fluctuations are influenced by supply and demand. Price fluctuation is frequently related to basic food needs of agricultural products since it is sensitive to climate change. Staple food which often experiences fluctuations is red chili, shallot and chicken egg. The pandemic period impacted and obstructed the community activities, including trading activities, especially the main staple producing areas of Malang, Blitar and Nganjuk regencies which are producing areas for red chili, shallot and chicken egg in East Java. The staple prices fluctuated before and during the pandemic. This study aims to analyze the level of price fluctuations of red chili, shallot and chicken egg before and during the pandemic with descriptive statistics and coefficients of variation. Factors causing price fluctuations were carried out by interviewing Industry and Trade Department and traders. The results showed that that red chili encountered high fluctuations before and during the pandemic (CV > 9%). The shallot commodity experienced high fluctuations before the pandemic in Blitar Regency while during the pandemic in Nganjuk Regency. Chicken eggs both before and during the pandemic was stable (CV < 9%). The price fluctuation factor before the pandemic tended to be influenced by the amount of supply (supply) while during the pandemic it was influenced by purchasing power loss (demand). During the pandemic, the agricultural sector became a safety sector in the covid-19 pandemic because food was a priority need, so production activities had to continue.","PeriodicalId":142529,"journal":{"name":"Agritech : Jurnal Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114072847","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In tissue culture, growth regulators can affect the formation of plant organs (organogenesis). The combination of growth regulators NAA and TDZ was used in this study to induce callus kencur organogenesis. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of giving NAA and TDZ on the organogenesis of kencur callus, as well as the optimal combination of the two in the organogenesis of kencur callus. The design used was factorial RAL with two factors: NAA (0; 0.5 and 1 ppm) and TDZ (0; 2 and 4 ppm). Observation variables included number of shoots, shoot length, number of leaves, leaf length, number of roots, root length, fresh weight, and the first time shoots appeared. The results showed that the single NAA treatment affected the number of shoots, number of leaves, number of roots, root length, and fresh weight. In comparison, the single TDZ treatment affected shoot length, leaf length, number of roots, root length, and fresh weight. The optimal treatment combination was 1 ppm NAA and 2 ppm TDZ (N1T2), which gave the highest number of shoots. Higher concentrations of cytokinins can stimulate shoot growth.","PeriodicalId":142529,"journal":{"name":"Agritech : Jurnal Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto","volume":"15 9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128895433","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The two dual roles of female farm workers consist of a domestic role and a public role. The aims of the study were to 1) analyze the dual roles of female farm workers based on the amount of working time, 2) analyze the share of household expenditures for farm workers, 3) analyze the energy and protein consumption in households,4) analyze the level of food security of female farm workers' households. The research was carried out from January to February 2022 in Kopen Village, Teras District, Boyolali Regency. The study used survey methods and data collection used interviews with questionnaires to female workers. Methods of data analysis used descriptive quantitative analysis method. The results showed that the domestic role of female workers consisted of taking care of the house, namely cooking, cleaning the house, washing clothes, taking care of children with an avarage time of 64.4% of 24 hours per day. The role of the public consists of working activities in the farm and community activities with 36.5% of 24 hours per day. The share of household food expenditure was 42.7% of the total expenditure. The level of energy consumption was in the good category and the level of protein consumption was in the moderate category. Household food security of farm workers was in category of food insecure conditions. It was due to the high expenditure for food consumption. Based on the result, it recomend to used their home garden to plant vegetables or fruits in order to sufficient food consumption and it can save household expenses.Keywords: Farmers families, Food Security, The role of women","PeriodicalId":142529,"journal":{"name":"Agritech : Jurnal Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129113512","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
