In addition, it is aimed to measure the user’s perspective and perception, to determine the level of consciousness and awareness of the public. Method: The study consists of two parts: theoretical framework and case study. In the literature review, which is the first stage of the study, the historical development of mosque architecture, contemporary approaches and formal attempts in designs were investigated. In the second stage of the study, a survey was conducted to determine the perspectives of the participants on mosque designs. The universe of the study is the mosque users of Konya Selcuklu District. A questionnaire consisting of 95 questions in four sections was directed to the users. Results: In the results of the study, 99 valid participants were evaluated. According to the results of the survey, it has been determined that the awareness of mosque users to contemporary mosque architecture is low level and they advocate the imitation mosque architecture, which is called false historicism. Conclusion: In the study, it was determined that the attitudes of the users towards the mosque architecture, in which the traditional was copied, were positive and they supported the imitation elements used in the mosque architecture. While the attitudes of the users towards the mosque architecture in which the traditional is interpreted are positive, it is seen that they do not adopt the freely shaped mosque designs. Purpose: To make the restoration decisions of the abandoned building, which has entered a period of rapid degradation due to natural and human-induced effects, and which is in danger of collapse, and to present conservation and usage recommendations. Method: Within the scope of this study, the plan setup, construction system, original elements and problems of the building are defined; its current situation, changes and deteriorations were documented and dated and related restitution proposals were presented; The potential and needs of the house and its immediate surroundings have been evaluated. Findings: It has been determined that the Özdoğanlar residence has lost its original features day by day as a result of intense exposure to atmospheric conditions due to being out of use, the additions and removals made by the former users on time, and the looting by groups prone to Vandalism. Suggestions for the solution of the identified problems of the building were determined in chemical and physical terms. These data were obtained by researching the original plan scheme, space and architectural elements of the building. Result: Özdoğanlar House, which is a qualified traditional house example with its original plan scheme and architectural features, has been documented. Yöntem: Çalışmada toplam 162 öğrenciye kanı araştırması yapılmış, kentsel donatı elemanlarından 5 tanesini 38 kavram üzerinden değerlendirmeleri istenilerek elde edilen veriler analiz edilmiştir. Örneklem grupları; İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi Mimarlık ve Tasarım Fakültesi, Mimarlık ve İç Mimarlık Bölümleri öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. İlk grup, “Mimarlar için Anlambilim” ve “İç Mimarlar için Anlambilim” dersini alan, 4.sınıfta öğrenim gören 54 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. İkinci grup, ilgili dersleri almayan 4. sınıfta olan 54 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Üçüncü grup ise ilgili dersleri henüz almamış olan 1.sınıfta öğrenim gören 54 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Bulgular: İlgili dersleri alan öğrencilerin sınırlandırıcı (bahçe duvarı) için %68.5’i doğallık ve %61.1’i mahremiyet kavramını seçtiği; su öğesi (çeşme) için %77.8’i tarihsellik ve %63’ü geleneksellik kavramını seçtiği; üst örtü öğesi (kemer) için %70.4’ü huzurluluk kavramını seçtiği; sanatsal obje (heykel) için %72.2’si tarihsellik ve %38.9’u klasiklik kavramını seçtiği; aydınlatma elemanı için %66.7’si dikkat çekicilik ve %50’si görkemlilik kavramını seçtiği ve bilinç düzeyleri ile bu konudaki yetkinlerinin daha fazla olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç: Mimarlık ve iç mimarlık lisans eğitimi alan öğrencilerin, soyut ve kavramsal tanımları kuramsal açıdan, kurgunun ve konseptlerin oluşturulmasında, peyzaj tasarımı aşamasında tasarımlara yeteri kadar yansıtmadığı görülmektedir. In the field of architecture, this movement has had reflections such as new construction and application techniques and the use of different materials. In parallel with this rapid progress in building and construction technology, solutions that meet the changing needs in architectural design have started to be offered. Aim: The aim of the research is to find out which plan type is the most preferred in terms of design in high-rise office buildings in Eskişehir road region, which attracts attention with its office building stock in Ankara, and to analyze the relationship of this plan type preference with the building's height and current value parameters. Method: Tracing method was used to find the ratio of plan types in the examined office buildings and to establish the relationship of these plan types with height and m2 current value. Then the obtained data were evaluated statistically and regression values were found by using regression analysis method. Results: In the 12 office structures examined in the study, open office (47%), mixed office (27%), closed (13%) and co-working offices (13%) were preferred, respectively. 66% of the multi-storey office buildings in the sample space of the research have a height of 100 m or more. Closed offices are the lowest value in terms of market value and mixed offices are the highest valued. Conclusion: It is understood that open-plan offices are preferred in the Ankara Eskişehir road region. As a result of the study, it has been revealed that these plan types, which are mostly used in office buildings, have a directly proportional relationship with the concept of current value per m2, but not with the height of the multi-storey building. Botanical gardens, usually exhibited by ornamental plants, undertake functional tasks such as giving aesthetic and taxonomic knowledge. Botanical gardens are not only services for recreational purposes but also open and green spaces where scientific studies are also carried out. Accordingly, botanical gardens have many positive economic and functional contributions, especially in the cities and regions where they are located. Düzce city has an important position in terms of its geography. Due to its presence in the Western Black Sea region and its climatic characteristics, the region is under the influence of both the Black Sea and the Mediterranean climate. Thanks to this situation, the biodiversity of the region is increasing and plant species with different tolerances can grow in the region. Aim: The purpose of this study is to explain the design process and stages of the botanical garden, which will provide the conservation and display of the plant inventory of the region flora, especially the endemic and rare species found in the region and the recreation area for scientific purposes. According to Flora of Turkey, there are one hundred thirty seven (137) endemic plants in Western Black Sea region. In addition, according to studies conducted in Düzce University Faculty of Forestry Herbarium there are 71 endemic plant species in the region. The prospect of working is based on the necessity of ex-situ conservation of the endemic and rare plant taxa in these areas, outside the natural areas, in the botanical gardens to be established, apart from nature conservation areas and natural habitats in the area. The main scope of the study, is a valley with an area of approximately 50,000 m2, which is located within the boundaries of Düzce University Campus. The formation of the valley in the vicinity allows the formation of different terrain forms such as slope, hill, pit, and different viewing surfaces. Thus, the different conditions that the area has and the presence of water in the area create areas suitable for the growth of various plant species. Method: The method of working consists of several steps. The first stage is a survey of physical and social data on the area. At this stage, the topographical mobility in the vicinity o f the natural landscape features and the current use of the existing plant have been examined. The stage of preparation of the requirement list has been completed with the survey analysis in which the information obtained afterwards is evaluated and interpreted and the decisions taken. After this phase, the functional diagram of the interrelationships between accessibility, existing and proposed use of the area and its surroundings has been completed. Method: In the method of the research, four rhetorical canons from Cicero were transformed into an analysis (reading) framework. In the doctrine of invention, the current change of the canopy is interpreted as an \"urban condition\" and overlaps with the state of the language. In the arrangement canon, 4 cover classifications were made in accordance with urban situations. The style canon examines the formation of the structure and the referential thought it is based on through metaphor, metonym, hyperbola, parabola. In the memory canon, the characteristics of the chosen style figure, such as the ability to explain the idea of form and fiction, convey its concept, and be evocative and memorable, are examined. Results: Four spatial structures (Metropol Parasol, Fuji Kindergarten, Jay Pritzker Pavilion and Dels Encants District Market) are selected for the canopy classes determined in the study. In the next stage, these selected samples are analyzed according to the rhetorical analysis method created. The findings show that the striking shapes of today's magnificent canopies are based on quite extensive rhetorical figures. This complex operational network necessitates a heuristic approach, involving systemic and intuitive processes synchronously. Aim: Considering the traditional arduousness of defining, measuring or even predicting the existing or probable quantifiable outputs of an educational model focusing on various design disciplines, a basic framework for a conceptual model basing interactive association is constructed, using extensively adopted words or phrases to clarify possible connections for giving way to foreseeable creative ideational strikes in a sustainable educative process. Method: Stated words and phrases are coded and positioned on a comprehensive base quoted from the literature, followed by a mapping via eight generic titles that are used as a tool set for making a classificative settlement on a specific table, peculiar to the research. Components of the table are planned to be associated for an interactive interpretation through the discussion, in the light of the research aims. Results: Intraindividual methodical operation process of this study has shown the decisive effect of systemic thinking in formulating a theoretical guideline for a futuristic design education approach. Particular outcomes point out the actual dominancy of interactive educative models across innovative activities. Conclusion: Particular findings of the research point out that a systems oriented prudential educational guideline, formulating the utilization of intuitive thinking, would revive future-proof approaches concerning design education. Therefore, patient-oriented health space designs that provide a sense of trust and satisfaction to patients – along with a supportive approach to their treatment – are the points of departure in this study, while understanding the effects and experiences of design on patients. Environmental graphic design elements (photographs, illustrations, typography, and pictograms) in the interiors of hospitals emerge as the factors that shape the patient's spatial experience, such as orientation, information, and perception of a space. In this study, the effects of such design elements on user perception in health spaces were investigated, and these design criteria that play a role in determining and actively interacting with the environmental graphic design elements in hospital spaces are encountered. Based on the abovementioned facts, this research aims to contribute to the graphics in health spaces in the context of environmental graphic design, with experience covering both fields. Method: Three hospitals, which are sufficient in terms of environmental graphic design elements and have differences between them, were determined as the research places. The elements in these hospitals were photographed and surveyed on user groups (patients, doctors, health personnel) who experienced the places continuously or temporarily. Results and Conclusion: It was demonstrated by statistical data that the elements in the investigated places could not provide the expected effects as a whole. In the study, which was prepared to create attention for the shootings on historical places, the Çukur Series published between 2017-2021 and the historical Balat and Ayvansaray streets and structures where the shootings were made were examined. Method: Within the boundaries of the scenario, 113 structures, including their registered structures, were examined. The analysis, which was designed to prove the amount of intervention caused by the series, was documented with the number of buildings with graffiti on their façades, their registration status, the increase in interventions, the vandalism valuation method designed within the scope of the study, and the percentage calculations of the area occupied by the interventions on the facades. Findings: With the series, the identity of the Pit, which dominates the historical identity in the set area, has been reached day by day. While the number of facades with graffiti was 15 in 2017, Pit content was found in 88% of the facades that increased to 61 in 2019, and in 82% of the facades that reached 72 in 2020.
