It further aims to investigate how Greek students comprehend the Sustainable Development (SD) issues and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and support, as future managers, its added value concerning the environmental, social and corporate governance management in the Greek Business Community. For this purpose, a literature review and a field research among Greek Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) students has been conducted. The field research and other relevant researches conclude that the Greek HEIs have followed the international trends and started implementing CSR and Sustainable Development courses in their curriculum. Furthermore, they state that SD and CSR courses are very important for the shaping of a business ethics management, an environmentally friendly behavior and promote the stakeholders interests. Moreover, the field researches find there are strong parallels between the CSR orientation of Greek students and students and managers in other countries. For this reason, Greek Companies could play a significant role at this point, by allowing students to participate in their CSR initiatives. For Greek Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) and students the SD and CSR, is more than just another scientific subject, as it is a way of completely altering existing way of business management, decision making and market behavior. Therefore, Greek Higher Educational Institutions and students argue that Sustainable Development and CSR are not issues that concern only academic and the corporate world but constitute a greater idea that everyone has to embrace.","PeriodicalId":140802,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Human Resource and Sustainability Studies","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126642573","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As discussions about intangibles have intensified, the number of empirical studies focused on the relationship between intangibles and corporate value has increased. Previous studies have demonstrated the relationship between intangibles and corporate value as individual or combined elements; however, no previous empirical study has incorporated strategies into the analysis of the relationship between intangibles and corporate value. The present study analyzes how different strategies and management control systems impact intangibles, the source of corporate value. Three discoveries were made. The first reveals that intangibles consist of corporate reputation, innovation, information assets, and organizational assets, but not human assets, which turn out to be linked to innovation. This result indicates that the skills and creativity of employees play a major role in innovation. The second discovery shows that corporate value consists of economic value, social value, and organizational value. This result agrees with the view of others who have asserted that all stakeholders are in an equal relationship. Therefore, it can be said that companies take various stakeholders into consideration when creating value. The third discovery shows that when different strategies and management control systems are adopted, different intangibles affect corporate values. For instance, in prospector companies, reputation does not impact corporate value; these firms aim to create new markets through innovation, and are less concerned with reducing reputational risk. By contrast, in defender companies, innovation does not affect corporate value; these firms place emphasis on preserving their reputation to retain existing markets and customers.","PeriodicalId":140802,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Human Resource and Sustainability Studies","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132245178","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Methods: The data of health human resources in Chongqing from 2014 to 2018 were collected, and its equity was assessed by analyzing the agglomeration degree based on population and area size. Results: The number of health technicians, doctors and nurses per 1000 residents in Chongqing was 6.22, 2.22 and 2.76. The health human resources were redundant in Yuzhong, Jiangbei, and Dadukou Districts, but were seriously inadequate in Chengkou, Wuxi and Youyang counties. From 2014 to 2018, the equity of health human resources in main urban areas and the southwest of Chongqing were improved, but its allocation in the west and northeast of Chongqing was relatively inadequate, which became increasingly worse. Conclusion: The total amount of health human resources in Chongqing is insufficient. The differences in the equity of health human resources in different regions are significant. The equity of health human resources varies in different regions.","PeriodicalId":140802,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Human Resource and Sustainability Studies","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133813666","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It refers to the unethical behaviors which are conducive to the organization that the employees intend to make but violate the social ethical standards. When this concept was first proposed, it has been widely studied by scholars, especially the influencing factors of it. But the content of these researches is rather fragmented and lacks systematic grooming. Based on relevant research in China and abroad, we’ll collate and summarize the literature in this field. Firstly, concept, dimensions and measurement of unethical pro-organizational behaviors will be introduced. Then, we’ll summarize the influencing factors and mechanisms of it. Finally, based on these, the future research directions in this field will be proposed so that scholars can carry out further research.","PeriodicalId":140802,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Human Resource and Sustainability Studies","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123007532","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The static panel regression techniques were employed to assess the causal link of our regressors, namely, FDI, trade openness, investment and Inflation to economic growth measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Levin-Lin-Chu unit-root test was conducted to find the stationarity of the panel data. The evidence from the statistical analysis suggests that aggregated trade openness, investment, and inflation do have a positive and significant impact on economic growth and is thus consistent with the literature, especially for developing countries. Based on static random effects, the addition of the foreign direct investment (FDI) did not deviate from the results, notwithstanding its negative impact on economic growth. The contribution of trade openness, investment and inflation are observed to be relatively higher than foreign direct investment.","PeriodicalId":140802,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Human Resource and Sustainability Studies","volume":"1977 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130121952","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
