Many researchers have identified that pageview identification and path completion are of great importance in the result of web usage mining. Currently, there is still a lack of an effective and systematic method to analyze and deal with the two steps. In the present study, we propose the application of Petri Nets (PN), a model used to analyze the framework of webpages in a website. We adopt Place in the PN model to represent webpage on the websites and use Transition to represent hyperlink The study explores how to undergo the pageview identification after we use the PN model to conduct the analysis of the framework and then obtain incident matrix. Likewise, we use reachability property in the model to undergo path completion.","PeriodicalId":138224,"journal":{"name":"2007 4th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131383804","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The adoption of multi-agent systems appears as a very promising approach in the development of a new generation of intelligent autonomous robotic agents for complex environment monitoring. This paper discusses a multi-agent system whose global goal is the minimization of entropy of an environment, based on a novel tree in-motion mapping method. The proposed method combines the simplicity and speed of computation, along with low storage and communications requirements, which ideally fits a system composed of a finite number of mobile robotic agents, each possessing limited sensing, processing and communicating operational entities. The method is also extensible to include multiple factors into the determination of the environmental entropy, hence allowing measurands such as electromagnetic, thermal and optical energies to be aggregated in the cost function. Simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of the method, compare the centralized and decentralized approaches, and present the savings, both in processing and communication times, when compared to existing methods.","PeriodicalId":138224,"journal":{"name":"2007 4th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130092192","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This approach allows the possibility to fill-in-the blanks and then store information in several new documents (risk charts) for each patient of a GP (if required), by using a generic mechanism. This new technology enables the addition of new documents in the system without updating the executable, based on a new ActiveX component, that ensures visualisation, editing, printing and reviewing of the information. This component stores the content in XML files, and is invoked by the application MedlNS used by GPs. The documents are represented accordingly to Document Object Model (DOM) standard.","PeriodicalId":138224,"journal":{"name":"2007 4th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics","volume":"IM-30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126622996","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, we will define speech fluency and speech fluency disorder. Speech fluency designates the easy and confidant construction of a phonic stream that is understandable to the receiver. Speech fluency disorder points to the elements which significantly impair the construction of the phonic stream and which make understanding by the receiver difficult (a partial definition, illocutionary connector in the form of a metalingual commentary). Speech fluency disorder, so defined, is an inherent quality of stuttering [1].","PeriodicalId":138224,"journal":{"name":"2007 4th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics","volume":"265 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123269331","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The stability analysis of this fuzzy control model is performed using Lyapunov theorem. This paper proves that if the derivative of Lyapunov function is negative semi-defined for each fuzzy rule, then the controlled Lienard system is asymptotic stable in the Lyapunov sense. The stability theorem present in this paper assures sufficient conditions for the stability of the Lienard system controlled by fuzzy logic controller (FLC). The approach is organized around two concepts: the statistical individual and the synthetic individual. The state variable taken into account is the ten-year risk of a fatal cardiovascular disease, from the moment the certain parameters of the patient are measured. In this context, two complementary models are presented. The first model, a first order model, known from the work of Dragomir and Berian (2007), allows the introduction of the concept of time constant, the second, a second order model, has the advantage to be more accurate.","PeriodicalId":138224,"journal":{"name":"2007 4th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics","volume":"156 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120910507","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These programs make it possible to utilize advanced information and communication technology mainly at distance education. Research in this area is aimed at application of proven methodologies from information technology. One of these methodologies is model description of objects and processes about them. Basically, higher education programs are well fit to model description. However, high number of highly interrelated objects must be handled and objects are local program, subject area, geographic, industry, university, and student group specific. Description is needed that can cope with this task. A modeling has been published recently that drew the attention of the authors of this paper. They analyzed that modeling considering predefined demands by practical application. This paper gives an evaluation of a recent approach to virtual higher education environments. To create a functional and adjustable artificial human hand one needs to conceive the architecture of the system, as well as the model of its motion functions. Unfortunately, the human hand is very difficult to be modeled, because of its kinematical chains submitted to motion constraints. This is the reason why the researchers all over the world give a lot of attention to modeling process of the human hand. Following this trend, the present paper shows the complete modeling process of the human hand which leads to a reliable model of a human hand prosthesis.","PeriodicalId":138224,"journal":{"name":"2007 4th International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130528588","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
