It also fills the gap of the existence of an unstructured programme and discusses how a programme of such nature could be beneficial to the student’s health, both physically and psychologically. The study provides frameworks based on Self-Determination Theory, Social Learning Theory, and the Transtheoretical Model of Behavior Change dealing with intrinsically motivated learning, acquisition of necessary skills and community support within the context of the school. It has written literature on the curriculum, having aspects like safety measures and notions such as VR and AR. Hattie and Timperley therefore present a framework of how to plan curriculum and instruction as well as piloting and implementation process that places safe learning as well as inclusion of all students as well as the evaluation measures at the heart of the task. Finally, Climbing Activities should be incorporated into college physical education so that students attain their myriad benefits and educational performance in Jiangxi is boosted.","PeriodicalId":13768,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":"12 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141662245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this case, the study points out that, there is a need to maintain and develop Chinese culture in relation to music education; this means that Chinese traditional music Chinese musical instruments and performance and aesthetic features should be included in the curriculum. It highlights the effectiveness of embedding in a music education development various methodologies of music in learning, practising, listening and analysis and ethnomusicology as a way of obtaining a thorough knowledge of music. Also, the study has revealed that there is a critical need to develop a curriculum to guide the teaching and learning of piano, particularly because the curricula need to be systematic and coherent in order to address students’ technical and musicianship skills and knowledge in music theory. The research objectives are achieved using thematic analysis of the literature, with emerging themes including cultural assimilation and change within music education, integration of diverse fields, and the curriculum. These issues prolong the importance of cultural diversity, integration of different approaches to teaching, and the development of extensive curricula to improve piano learning. Taken together, it is recommended that a Cultural-Sexual-Orchestration-Pedagogy view should be integrated to support the accomplishment of educational objectives and processes in music learning and teaching.","PeriodicalId":13768,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":"29 19","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141659592","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using Turner's self-categorization theory, the study reveals how the film employs multiple perspectives, non-linear narrative, and complex group relations to depict characters' self-categorization and identity processes in different contexts. The findings indicate that “The Grandmaster” not only skillfully portrays Ip Man's multiple identities through its sophisticated narrative techniques but also highlights the tension between cultural heritage and personal growth. This research aims to provide a new theoretical framework for the study of narrative in biographical films and to deepen the understanding of social identity in cultural texts.","PeriodicalId":13768,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":"106 22","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141666091","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In Malaysia, the Public Service Department (PSD), better known as Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA), is responsible for crafting policies or circulars regarding the need for civil servants to be trained. Currently, training for civil servants is still based on Pekeliling Perkhidmatan Bilangan 6 Tahun 2005 – Dasar Latihan Sumber Manusia Sektor Awam. Nonetheless, the circular is considered old and needs revisions to ensure the training continuity follows the current demands in civil services. This paper presents an analysis of the learning approach adopted by Public Administrative and Diplomatic officers in Malaysia. The research has three (3) objectives: (i) How do learners view formal learning? (ii) How do learners view non-formal learning? and (iii) How do learners view informal learning? This study uses a quantitative approach, collecting data via a quantitative survey. This research involved 412 respondents who are Public Administrative and Diplomatic officers in Malaysia. Data were analysed using SPSS, proving that all learning approach components have high mean values. The result shows that the respondents agreed collectively that all the components are essential and valuable for them in the learning process. The findings of the study are aimed at improving the learning approaches towards adult learners, especially in the civil service in Malaysia.","PeriodicalId":13768,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":"74 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141664421","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This reflects changes in female self-identity in modern society and challenges traditional gender norms. The research finds that the film's gender depiction aligns with feminist film theory, indicating Hollywood's acceptance of a feminist perspective. This marks progress in both gender portrayal and cultural cognition. Finally, the research emphasizes the need for future studies to explore the intersection of multiculturalism and gender perspectives in Hollywood films to further develop feminist film theory.","PeriodicalId":13768,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":"111 41","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141667920","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Understanding how to effectively enhance vocabulary acquisition is essential due to its fundamental role in language proficiency. While numerous studies have demonstrated the efficacy of mobile learning for enhancing both receptive vocabulary knowledge (RVK) and productive vocabulary knowledge (PVK), there is a lack of research investigating the relationship between vocabulary acquisition in receptive and productive and learner motivation within a mobile learning context. The current research aims to investigate the effect of using a mobile dictionary app on English vocabulary learning among undergraduates with varying levels of motivation. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest and posttest. One freshman class, consisting of 32 participants, was involved in the study. The Intrinsic/Extrinsic Motivation Scale of English Learning (I/EMSEL) and Core English Vocabulary (CEV) Test were used as instruments for data collection. Participants were divided into three groups based on their motivational levels: high, medium, and low. The learning effects of these groups were measured using pre-test and post-test assessments during a 12-week intervention. Data analysis was conducted using paired sample T-tests and one-way ANOVA. The results indicated that the mobile dictionary app effectively promotes vocabulary knowledge acquisition in both receptive vocabulary knowledge (RVK) and productive vocabulary knowledge (PVK) across different motivational levels. However, students with high motivation showed significantly greater improvements compared to those with medium and low motivation. These findings suggest that mobile learning tools are more effective for vocabulary acquisition in highly motivated students. Educators should focus on enhancing learner motivation to maximize the benefits of these tools.","PeriodicalId":13768,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":" 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141668736","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, untreated mental health problems got worse, which had the worst effect on a person's life and work that could happen. One of the key environments that affect employees' mental health is the workplace. People are becoming more aware of and cognizant of the role that work can play in promoting or impeding mental wellness. The majority of mental health professionals concur that the workplace environment can have a considerable impact on a person's mental and physical well-being, despite the fact that it is difficult to measure the effect of work alone on a person's sense of self, self-esteem, and social recognition.
