The possibility to use the virtual reality tools in the TsF-18 centrifuge’s cabin, operability of these tools and comfort of wearing the virtual reality helmet for an operator were experimentally confirmed. Tests performed confirm the feasibility of controlling the centrifuge’s motion in order to simulate the Lunokhod movement over the difficult lunar surface. Various methods of mathematical analysis of a speech signal when determining the human emotional and functional status and techniques of noise suppression in audio recordings are also considered. The article describes the formulation of research tasks related to the use of VES-based simulation stands and systems in modeling the cosmonauts’ activities relying on the experience of designing orbital simulators.
