Combinar cine-educación y simulación ha demostrado ser eficaz para enseñar seguridad del paciente a estudiantes de medicina. Este artículo describe la evaluación de la retención de conocimientos sobre seguridad del paciente al cabo de un año aplicados a un nuevo contexto clínico.Sujetos y métodos.En un escenario de simulación de error transfusional, se evalúan los comentarios sobre seguridad del paciente de 59 estudiantes de tercer curso de medicina que el año anterior habían participado en una sesión de seguridad del paciente con cine-educación y simulación. El análisis de los datos se realiza desde un enfoque cualicuantitativo, agrupando y cuantificando los comentarios de los estudiantes en función de cinco de los 11 dominios de seguridad del paciente, según la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS).Resultados.La mayoría de los estudiantes recuerda el escenario audiovisual y es capaz de aplicar en el nuevo escenario conceptos complejos de seguridad del paciente y las actuaciones recomendadas por la OMS aprendidos un año atrás.Conclusión.La combinación de cine-educación y simulación permite la retención y transferencia de conceptos complejos de seguridad del paciente a otro contexto al cabo de un año. Esto puede vincularse con la buena recepción que las series de televisión médicas tienen entre los estudiantes de medicina. Éstas sustituyen el componente experiencial de la simulación, el cual proporciona los componentes de briefing, debriefing y transferencia que le son propios. Results. Of the 1,085 records identified, 11 articles were included for analysis. In these articles, when comparing the traditional classroom with the active participatory methodologies, the latter obtained better results in the learning variables, confidence in the acquisition of learning, critical thinking and skills, but there was no statistical significance in most of the studies. Conclusions. During the 2019-2020 academic year, and due to the situation caused by COVID-19, Human Neuroanatomy (4th semester- Degree of Medicine- University of Zaragoza) which under conditions of normality combines in-person theory and practice, had to consider itself in a telematic way by providing students with teaching materials through intranet ADD (Digital Teaching Ring)- Moodle©, Instagram©, as well as tutoring via Google Meet©. \u0000Material and methods. In order to be able to check the degree of satisfaction of the theoretical teaching- face-to-face versus telematic teaching, 2 questionnaires were carried out by the students (pre-COVID-19 and during COVID-19), of 4 and 6 closed questions respectively, with 5 answer options, according to Likert scale. In addition, 2 open questions were raised in each questionnaire. On the part of the teachers, was valued in a coordination meeting of the subject, after the end of the teaching period. \u0000Results. Satisfaction surveys were answered by 71% of students (68/95). The lack of attendance does not suffer a significant variation in both situations, but the reasons that have led to the absence, being the first being mainly professional, and the second reasons for connectivity. Students value in-person theoretical teaching versus telematics in a very similar way, while on a practical level, they continue to prefer face-to-face, coinciding with the teachers. \u0000Conclusion.
