Lara, Nayana Román Espinel","doi":"10.24215/18524907e017","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24215/18524907e017","url":null,"abstract":"The question of young people, from a generational perspective, requires reflecting on memory and problematizing, historically, facts and social processes. From this perspective, the authors propose to look at inequalities, their relationship with some of the aspects related to youth political participation and their effects on democracy since recent history in the Ecuadorian case. A mas de veinte anos, la autora expone en este articulo el resultado de sus indagaciones sobre la relacion de los jovenes de escuelas secundarias del Gran Buenos Aires con la educacion y el rol que esta ultima desempena en tanto nucleo de sentido en el traspaso de las fronteras simbolicas de la exclusion social. San Martin district (Buenos Aires, Argentina). The analysis is based on the projects they researched and present in the first Social and Human Sciences Fair of the Universidad Nacional de San Martin in 2016. The hypothesis contained in this paper is that the preoccupations young people expressed are central to understand the current social inequalities in a general way and the specific problems suffered by youth. The work baseds on two premises: on the one hand, that technological decisions are political and, on the other, that talking about digital inclusion is about social inclusion.
