In addition, black liquor was treated with ozone to obtain more homogeneous and compatible lignin fractions. Lignin was isolated from chestnut shells by alkali treatment (8% NaOH, 120°C/15 min), then sulfuric acid precipitation (0.5M) and drying. Black liquor obtained after an alkali treatment was further treated with ozone at ambient conditions to gain alkali combined ozone-treated lignin (OL). L and OL were added to CH film-forming solutions to fabricate CH-L and CH-OL films and films were characterized by barrier against water (WVP), morphologic, thermal properties, optical and antioxidant properties. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) data confirmed that the isolated L and OL had different structures, and the films indicated a potential interaction between lignin-based structures and CH matrices. Moreover, incorporating L and OL into the CH films increased the opacity and antioxidant activity of films. The addition of lignin-based structures caused a plasticizing effect on the CH films, corresponding with the tensile and thermal properties. In this study, the dry sliding wear behaviour of Mg- SiC alloys with different sintering temperature (375 °C, 400 °C, 425 °C) were investigated. Mg with %10 weight SiC powders were mechanically mixed and alloyed and then fabricated successfully via fast heating under vacuumed argon atmosphere. The friction coefficient, hardness value, and wear resistance of the alloys were higher than those of the pure Mg. Bu çalışmada ağırlıkça %10 kenevir takviyeli polilaktik asit (PLA) matrisli hammadde geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen biyokompozit hammaddeden eriyik birleştirme yöntemi (FFF) kullanılarak iki farklı dolgu geometrisinde çekme numuneleri üretilmiş ve mekanik performansları araştırılmıştır. En yüksek çekme dayanımı ortalama %20 artış göstermiştir. Üretilen numuneler optik ve yüzey elektron mikroskobu (SEM) ile incelenmiştir. Ara yüzey etkileşimleri ve fiberlerin homojen olarak dağılması oldukça önemli olup, araştırılmıştır. Çift vidalı bir ekstrüzyon cihazı kullanılmasına rağmen, yüzey geçişleri arasında boşluklar tespit edilmiştir. Bu durum yapısal performansı olumsuz olarak etkilemiştir. The compounds were investigated for their chemosensor properties towards metal ions [Na+, K+, Al3+, Cr3+, Mn2+, Fe3+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Cd2+, Hg2+ and Pb2+] were examined using colorimetric and spectrophotometric methods (UV-Vis absorption and florescence spectroscopy). Both compounds showed similar sensing properties towards metal ions and they have shown selective sensory properties for Fe+3 and Hg+2 ions. Moreover, the compounds were examined for their fluorimetric sensing abilities for nitroaromatic compounds [4-nitrofenol (NP), nitrobenzene (NB), 2,4-dinitrofenol (DNP), 1,3,5-trinitrophenol (TNP)]. Both compounds showed higher sensitivities for DNP and TNP than NP and NB. Compound Z2b showed the highest sensitivity for DNP with Ksv value of 2.4×104 M-1. Limit of detections for nitroaromatic compounds were calculated and both compounds showed LOD values in micromolar levels. Moleküllerin IC50 değerleri belirlenmiştir. Moleküller arasında en iyi inhibisyon özelliği gösteren molekülün inhibisyon türü ve Ki değeri hesaplanmıştır. Ticari olarak temin edilen mantar tirosinaz için optimum reaksiyon şartları belirlendikten sonra, kinetik çalışmalar yapılarak en düşük IC50 değerine sahip molekülün 8b olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Referans inhibitör molekül olarak kullanılan kojik aside (IC50=45,7±0,9 µM) göre 8a-b, 9a-b (IC50 değerleri sırasıyla 32,2±0,7 µM; 22,9±0,6 µM; 22,8±0,5 µM; 23,8±0,6 µM) moleküllerinin tirosinaz aktivitesi üzerinde oldukça etkili inbitör özelliğine sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. 8b molekülü için inhibisyon türü nonkompetetif olarak belirlenmiş ve Ki değeri 6,09±0,12 µM olarak hesaplanmıştır. Ayrıca tüm moleküllerin ADME özellikleri de incelenmiş olup, her bir molekülün ilaç aday molekülü olarak yüksek bir potansiyele sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. For this purpose, field studies were carried out in May-October 2018 and April-October 2019 in Ankara. 5310 specimens were collected. Totally 38 species belonging to 4 subfamilies and 20 genera were identified. The genus Scymnus Kugelann, 1794 is the most species-rich genus with 11 species. Faunal similarities and species diversities of districts of Ankara province are compared. In the first step, templated polymer latex was swollen in emulsion medium to obtain micron size porous POSS particles. In the second step, the hydrophobic monomers metharcyl-POSS, epoxy-functional monomer glycidyl methacrylate (GMA), the crosslinking agent GDMA and the thermal imitator diffused into the swollen template in emulsion medium for free-radical polymerization. The resultant poly(POSS-co-GDMA-co-GMA) microparticles were obtained in polydisperse form due to the high molecular weight of the silica cage core of POSS created difficulty in the diffusion step. However; monodisperse composite microparticles were obtained around 5.8 ± 0.4µm in size via centrifugal post-separation. In this scope, the samples were produced by hot press at 500 ℃ temperature under 50 MPa pressure for 30 minutes. The wear characteristics of the composites were determined using the ball-on disc wear test method. The affect of aging on the friction coefficient and wear ratio were investigated. Graphene reinforcement significantly increased the friction coefficient between the stainless steel ball and specimen but aging process lowered the coefficient of friction to a better level. Also artificially aged specimens showed significant increase in hardness values. Organik kaplamalar ile korozyon korumasının mekanizmaları bilinmesine rağmen, bu mekanizmaların gelişiminin tuzlu sis (ASTM B-117) ve yoğuşma kabini (ASTM D4585) gibi geleneksel hızlandırılmış maruziyet testleri ile izlenmesi mümkün değildir. Bu testlerde korozyon sadece görsel emarelerin ortaya çıkmasıyla gözlenebilir, bu durum kaplama altında korozyon başlangıcından çok sonra gerçekleşebilir ve dolayısıyla numuneler arasında farkların ortaya çıkması için uzun test sürelerine ihtiyaç duyulabilir. \u0000Bu çalışmada bir organik kaplamanın iki farklı hızlandırılmış maruziyet testi etkisi altında yıpranması takip edilmiştir. In this study, the biological derivatisation of the substrate 3,3-dimethylcyclohexyl methyl ketone by 18 fungal cultures was carried out to obtain new derivatives. Among the evaluated, the plant fungus Aspergillus niger ATCC 10549, biotransformed the substrate to the 4-hydroxy derivative in 19% yield. The structure was determined by using NMR and GC-MS spectroscopic methods. In addition, the antimicrobial activity of Herbac® with the metabolite against a panel of pathogenic microbial strains were evaluated using in vitro microdilution.
