Traditionally, this locally affine approximation is obtained under the assumption that control effector models are the separable functions, which implies that there exists no control interaction or coupling between the effectors. In this work, a nonlinear control allocation method is presented for the interacting control effectors of a tailless flying wing aircraft. The method uses Bivariate Taylor Expansion to compute locally affine approximation of polynomial effector models which are non-separable functions due to presence of the control interaction. Simulation results show that the proposed method gives good control allocation performance as compared to the traditional method.","PeriodicalId":128011,"journal":{"name":"2018 5th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131851100","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since the beginning of December 2015, fuel prices are freely determined. This event presents many constraints affecting the balance of the sector plus the competition between its economic players. The lack of accompanying measures by the State makes this vital reform for public finances that stop subsidizing the price of gasoline vulnerable. With the halt of the competitive manufacturing's activity, Morocco's only refinery, distributors must, for their part, build up large stocks. As all fuel products are imported, we will be interested in the evolution by making forecasts of the price of fuels in the Moroccan market. In order to achieve their objectives, the oil companies must rely on precise forecasts. In this context, our paper aims mainly to study the time series of diesel and gasoline in order to provide precise forecasts to the company and to respect the permissible error margin of 3%. To this end, we worked with the ARIMA method. We found that the ARIMA model (1,1,1) gives forecasts of the price of gasoline near the margin to be met for the first quarter of the current year with an average error margin of 2,855%. In addition, the assumption that the residuals are a Gaussian white noise has always been verified.","PeriodicalId":128011,"journal":{"name":"2018 5th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122463650","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The velocity of gathering data might cause unlawful distribution of content. The major problem in content authorization is the robustness of methodology. Since frangible methodologies result unauthorized content access quicker, more robust solutions are essential for copyright protection. Watermarking technology is considered as a robust solution for copyright protection and authentication. In watermarking, quality of the image is a challenge. Applying a watermark on a medical image might cause corruption in original image, which leads to misleading content. The proposed copyright protection mechanism includes Quadtree algorithm which finds a region of non-interest to apply watermark on medical image in Discrete Wavelet Domain to provide authentication of the content without altering region of interest. Furthermore, in this paper, the visual quality of watermark implemented medical images and sample values are also discussed with the experimental results as well.","PeriodicalId":128011,"journal":{"name":"2018 5th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115352395","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The pace of technology development is accelerating due to pressures for more energy efficient air vehicles with lower emissions and environmental impact; and to meet ACARE 2050 targets. The battery pack State of Charge (SOC) plays a critical role in the HEPS supervisory controller. In this paper, firstly a new operation-classification battery model is proposed for Li-Po battery. Moreover, since the accuracy of parameter identification is important in state estimation. An event triggered Adaptive Genetic Algorithm (AGA) is used for online parameter identification. Secondly, the Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) is applied for single battery cell SOC estimation. Furthermore, based on maximum and minimum battery cell voltages and SOC values, a Fuzzy Logic Estimator (FLE) is used for pack SOC estimation. Experimental results show that the proposed AGA can effectively track battery parameter variation and the SOC estimation error for single cell and for the complete battery pack with less than 1% error.","PeriodicalId":128011,"journal":{"name":"2018 5th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115759707","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In practice, this approximation may introduce round-off errors and this can lead to catastrophic results. In previous work, we have proposed intraprocedural and interprocedural program transformations for numerical accuracy optimization. All these transformations have been implemented in our tool, Salsa. The experimental results applied on various programs either coming from embedded systems or numerical methods, show the efficiency of the transformation in terms of numerical accuracy improvement but also in terms of other criteria such as execution time and code size. This article studies the impact of program transformations for numerical accuracy specially in embedded systems on other efficiency parameters such as execution time, code size and accuracy of the other variables (these which are not chosen for optimization).","PeriodicalId":128011,"journal":{"name":"2018 5th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126768798","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a bi-level optimization model for the time of use pricing problem is presented. The interactions between electricity Load Aggregators (LAs) and end-users in the smart grid is applied to obtain optimal TOU in the retail market. For the LAs, there is a revenue maximization problem (upper level), and for end-users there is a cost minimization problem (lower level). The proposed method defines a novel concept of the Retail Market Clearing Price (RMCP) by modeling DR at the lower level. It is proven that at the demand side, there is a unique marginal cost price, which will fulfill the end-user cost minimization problem. The proposed algorithm defines adequate TOU mechanism by presenting mathematical model of end-users response to electricity prices. To solve the lower level problem, a new Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) problem is presented, which uses the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) conditions and Mathematical Programming with Equality Constraints (MPEC). To validate the proposed model, three different competitive LAs were considered.","PeriodicalId":128011,"journal":{"name":"2018 5th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT)","volume":"103 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126977978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The privacy methods studied in previous research showed that privacy infringement for cloud computing or big data happened because multi risks on data by external or internal attackers. An important risk to take into consideration when speaking of the privacy of the stored transactions is represented by the transactions' information which is not in the owner's control. Such a case is represented by the cloud servers that are administered by cloud providers which cannot be wholly trusted by the users with sensitive, private data such as business plans or private information. A simple method for protecting data privacy is by applying certain privacy techniques onto transactions' data, followed by the upload of the modified data into the cloud. In this paper, we are proposing a case study that is built on levels containing three models: cloud's architecture, transaction's manager and clients. Moreover, we consider that our case study is based on the premise of zero trust among the three models, therefore all the transactions take place with third-parties and the data movements are realized going through various levels of security.","PeriodicalId":128011,"journal":{"name":"2018 5th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124387386","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Prioritizing or filtering risks (undesirable events or events scenarios) or categorizing risky entities for some activities return to assigning them to a predefined classes or categories for their appropriate treatment. On other hand a scenario or an entity as well as a class or category will be characterized by some attributes that represent basically its impact or constraints on different objectives, issues, stakes, or consequences that do represent some interests for decision makers and/or stakeholders. This is a nominal classification problem that is a subfield of multi-criteria decision making problems in general. As the attributes and/or features characterizing classes may not be defined precisely, a fuzzy representation can be used to treat this uncertainty leading to what is known as fuzzy nominal classification. If one was to classify using only one feature there will be some values of that feature that leads to certain choice or certain rejection of a particulate class and those for which some hesitation or doubt will exist leading to some bipolarity. In this communication, a bipolar fuzzy nominal classification framework will be built to address risks filtering and/or categorization issues; a real world application in the domain of countries' risk classification show the potentiality of the derived approach.","PeriodicalId":128011,"journal":{"name":"2018 5th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT)","volume":"242 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121811756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
