The authors argue that the institutionally constructed identity model, extended to the whole society, does not ensure its stability, since it is largely subordinated to the conjuncture and the immediate needs of the political and corporate elite. Identification markers that are self-aware by people and broadcast based on local social experience, i.e. through informal communication, consolidate more firmly the understanding of who “we” and “they” are, how “we” differ from “strangers”. In the space of these poles, values and meanings are marked, motivational complexes and attitudes are created, cultural, political and other differences are affirmed. The authors’ conceptualisation of the phenomenon of identity opens the way to understanding the practices of reproducing identity discourses in the processes of influencing public consciousness and promoting group interests.","PeriodicalId":127301,"journal":{"name":"RSUH/RGGU Bulletin. {"title":"FAMILY AS AN OBJECT IN THE FORMATION OF A NEW GENDER ORDER","authors":"Elena Kruglova","doi":"10.28995/2073-6401-2021-1-238-245","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.28995/2073-6401-2021-1-238-245","url":null,"abstract":"The article presents the main characteristics inherent in the Russian family as a small social group in line with a new gender order. In the 21st century one may see the new traits, characteristics and functions of the gender and gender relations, which is reflected in the emergence of a new gender order, which sociologists and feminologists have started talking about. The concept of a gender order is briefly defined and a historical retrospective of its emergence is given. The author marks three main subjects in which the changes taking place in the Russian family in recent decades are analyzed. First of all, it is the variability of family scenarios, which consists in different gender compositions of families (if we take the example of a country with officially permitted homosexual marriages); in matters of the childbirth, divorce, housekeeping practices, etc. Secondly, it is a change in gender roles, which is manifested in the growth of economic activity of women, their growing financial independence within the family, with the simultaneous transfer of the household responsibilities to a man. That plot leads to a third feature: changes in the family lifestyle what is most clearly evidenced by the strengthened educational function of the father. {"title":"PHENOMENOLOGICAL EPOCHE: PLACIDITY OR DESPAIR?","authors":"Mikhail A. An attempt is made to show that, despite the fact that the epoche is interpreted by Husserl as a methodical operation, suspending engagement with the world – the affective engagement with the world as well as the one, constituted by the naïve belief in the existence of the world – the phenomenological epoche, like the skeptical one, is inextricably linked to the pursuance of the certain affective state, namely the state of placidity, and is motivated by the mundane interests, which it, at the same time, sublates retroactively. Thereby, the epoche turns out to be the radical affective engagement with the world as such. The first section of the article shows that in the classical description of the epoche in § 31–32 of Ideas I the reasons Husserls gives for the epoche are not the theoretical, but the existential-practical ones. The epoche should enable those who practice it achieve total freedom towards the world. The author demonstrates that the freedom is nothing but the placidity in the phenomenological sense or the ataraxy. The second section explicates the way the epoche is tied to the natural engagement with the world. The epoche motivation cannot be reduced to the freedom, since the epoche, according to Husserl, can be performed only in relation to something that can undergo modalization, that is, to be given as that which is dubious, nonexistent, possible etc. Thus, the epoche is also motivated by the fact, that the world can undergo modalization. But the modalization presupposes the initial engagement with the word the epoche just suspends. Through the epoche the engagement is disclosed as the one which cannot be realized. Therefore, the affective nature of the epoche consists not only in the placidity, but also in the despair, which is forgoing the hope of realizing the mundane interests and sublates them in hindsight. The author of the article focuses on the fact that it is not only the assessment of the effectiveness of the activities of local authorities that is of particular importance for the formation of relevant models for the organization of local self-government allowing to implement the main provisions of federal laws, but also the use of results of the public opinion, allowing to analyze the socio-political situation in municipalities, as well as to improve the quality of interaction with the population. At the same time, the contradictory role of local self-government is noted, since low awareness of the population leads to unwillingness to be involved in the management process. The author substantiates the idea that sociological research, being a tool for obtaining operational information, allows timely identification of political and social moods, preferences and expectations in society, the potential for the development of a municipality, as well as measures necessary to initiate such development. Finally it is concluded that making the effective management decisions, optimizing the local self-government system, and, consequently, the stability of the institution itself, is impossible without analyzing and taking into account the information communicated by the society.","PeriodicalId":127301,"journal":{"name":"RSUH/RGGU Bulletin. Among the leisure forms that help the social adaptation of those living in the care home, the following are shown: conducting classes in arts and crafts; freestyle motocross with experienced instructors; carrying out excursions and tourist trips; rehabilitation of patients with the help of specially trained dogs. The program “Active Longevity in Cherkizovo” opened a new opportunities for organizing and spending leisure time. Among the healing practices, the author point out: the use of a dry carbonic bath and halotherapy; Nordic walking classes with elements of breathing exercises; application of cryotherapy, hirudotherapy, pressotherapy and cryosauna. The Cherkizovsky care home constantly monitors the effectiveness of leisure and health-improving methods for bettering the social well-being of the social services users. Val del Omar, with assistance of associative montage of symbolic and allegorical images, created a complete narrative with a specific storyline in the film “Water-Mirror of Granada” (1955). The storyline is interpreted by the author of the article as a visualization at the figurative and metaphorical level of the initiatory spiritual path of human being. It is noted that such an approach formally unites the montage method of J. Val del Omar with principles of the Soviet montage school of the 1920s and 1930s. In contrast to the clearly expressed political and ideological orientation of Soviet cinema, the content of the works of J. Val del Omar has an ambiguous religious and symbolic character, due to both the personal preferences of the film director and the censorship requirements of the era of the authoritarian Franco regime. The article also analyzes the role of the systems of film sound accompaniment and multi-screen film projection invented by J. The reasons for their occurrence in Russia are different. They are primarily manifested in the uniqueness of geographical and economic features, including natural resources, the variety of goals and objectives of the development of the national economy and the specifics of the territories, and often without considering the social structure and characteristics of the population of these territories. However, the development of many single-industry towns in the new Russia is undergoing serious difficulties, a significant part of them has practically ceased to exist or is in a state of degradation. The other part has some reserves for its partial functioning or a plan to rebuild its economic organism. After the crisis of the 1990s, the third part gradually retained and acquired a new niche in the changed economic conditions. Against the background of those polemic party positions stands out the study of the positive significance of theological toposes and mythology in science when it is secular and atheistic. One of the vivid examples of that one meets in the reflections of two French philosophers of Russian origin, Alexandre Koyré and Alexandre Kojève. By studying the genesis of science, Koyré discovers that modern mathematical physics requires a homogeneous world, and it became so for the first time in Christian Europe in the 16th–17th centuries. Kojève continues Koyré’s reflections – according to him, the application of the celestial science of mathematics to terrestrial physics became possible through the habit of European thinkers to the scandalous thought about the Incarnation of God, about the possibility for the infinity and for the perfection to be born in the flesh and thus “heal” it. The positions of both have their origin in Hegel’s thoughts, but in some points do not agree with him. The research consists of three parts published in three separate articles: on the foundation of Modern science at Koyré, Kojève and Hegel.
