The nursing team that works in urgency and emergency care has as characteristics of the profession a high workload and speed of care, however, there are also functions who need autonomy in carrying out activities that do not only concern practices related to care, but that contribute to the process, such as filling out protocols, reporting on actions carried out and monitoring and evolution of care, as well as referrals that they proceeded. There is still a lot of bureaucracy in your daily life to be added to the institution’s work activities. To carry out studies relating to the quality of nurse management in urgent and emergency situations, we seek to achieve the objective of determining what attitudes the nursing professional should have to manage their actions with the purpose of achieving quality in care, knowing which are the functions and real characteristics that must permeate your work, establishing parameters so that quality of service is prioritized. The study is justified by the need for nursing professionals to reflect on their practice, valuing their knowledge with the application of skills that establish self-confidence and proactivity. This is a literature review study of an exploratory descriptive nature carried out on documents available for access in the Virtual Health Library (VHL), Pubmed, Lilacs, Medlaine. In this sense, it is recognized that interpersonal relationships become of great importance. Hence, the focus of this research is to understand the significance of caring in the hospital setting, particularly in the stabilization room – a space where the patient still feels insecure and requires trust and reassurance regarding the procedures to be performed and the care the profession entails.To achieve this, the following objectives were established: to characterize the essential care and humanization for the success of the nurse’s role in relation to stabilization procedures, considering the situations experienced as palliative measures to alleviate distress and suffering. The research and literature review in the field highlight the connections between healthcare work and attitudes that go beyond theories, bringing professionals closer to patients and their real needs.The investigation into this topic is justified by the concerns affecting patients who feel insecure and sometimes frightened by the circumstances they are facing. Additionally, it is influenced by the promptness of nursing professionals who may not always perform their duties with excellence due to the patient’s apprehension about what lies ahead or a lack of preparation for such dramatic moments. A portion of affected individuals becomes unable to return to work, and in this context, the disease accounts for 40% of early retirements in Brazil, thus already being considered a public health issue. This study will highlight the complications of stroke in the rehabilitation of readmitted patients post-stroke, within the hospital setting. The methodology was structured based on a quantitative and descriptive study, where data were collected through a semi-structured interview with patients or their caregivers. The research was conducted in all hospital wards, and the questionnaire was administered from June to October 2014 to readmitted patients in a Public Teaching Hospital. The results showed that structural changes suffered by a post-stroke patient cause motor alterations such as muscle weakness and spasticity, which can restrict their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and social participation, making them physically dependent. Particularly, motor deficits in the upper limbs impact the quality of life, as they are essential in ADLs. The need to expand literature education seeks to promote an approach that goes beyond the Eurocentric paradigm, exploring African literature as a way to enrich students' cultural repertoire, including the development of critical and reflective awareness among learners. The article mentions the inclusion of African literature in the school curriculum, emphasizing the importance of Law 10.639/2003 in this regard, which mandates the teaching of Afro-Brazilian History and Culture. Additionally, it discusses the most recent document guiding and standardizing education: the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC, 2019), which addresses the need to rethink how literature is taught in school, aiming to make reading and writing enjoyable activities for students. The proposed methodology involves collective reading of the work, followed by group discussion; historical and social contextualization of the novel's plot, and reflection on themes such as the sexualization of the black female body, whitening, and identity.
