This paper presents a novel approach to minimize the distribution loss of RDSs from double digit to single digit. To minimize the system loss, a simplex algorithm for linear programming is used. Main three phase inverter produces harmonic compensation. Three single phase inverters connected in series with the three phase inverter for separate compensation of reactive power in three different phases are present. The three phase inverter is a hybrid active power filter which is an HFI (High Frequency Inverter) and uses Hysteresis control. The three single phase inverters are LFIs (Low Frequency Inverters) which also operate using sinusoidal triangular PWM control. The DC bus voltages of the three single phase inverters are common. The topology specifically caters to the need of real-time load which is largely unbalanced and requires both a reduction in harmonic levels as well as reactive power and negative sequence compensation simultaneously. The ANFIS based controller has the ability to track the maximum power point (MPP) and the corresponding rotor speed of the wind generator by estimating wind speed with very little error compared to the conventional ANN based MPPT techniques. The algorithm developed is based on two series ANFIS networks, one for wind speed estimation and the other to determine the maximum power point and the corresponding rotor speed. The method demonstrates remarkable performance in estimating wind speed and to predict MPP accurately without undesired oscillations around maximum power point. The algorithm does not require any mechanical sensor for wind speed measurement. Nonlinear time domain simulations have been carried out to validate the effectiveness of the proposed controllers under different operating conditions. ZigBee is the real time application for the WSN used for low-cost data and energy consumption characteristics. ZigBee is a robust network certain application of which has come out with a critically low designation for less data rate, long delivery delay and packet loss as well in order to lower the cost. However, ZigBee devices have many potential features to make a splendid wireless network. Hence, putting an improvement analogy inside the performance parameter is a way to overcome the limitations of ZigBee usage in certain scales. ZigBee follows a model for its node distribution, traffic routing and Quality of Service (QoS). The QoS indicates the efficiency and performance of any network. The increase in efficiency of QoS on the ZigBee network lies in the realization of maximizing throughput of the network. This paper is destined to represent the improved QoS in the ZigBee network applying Stochastic and Widest Path models. Riverbed Simulator v17.5 is used to investigate foremost QoS parameters in the ZigBee network. The optimized result of this study will be handy in the application field of the ZigBee network. Modern world needs a huge amount of electrical power to meet up the current demand whereas the resources of conventional energy sources are diminishing steadily in response of vast consumption of energy. So, alternate sources of energy are required not only to fill up the large gap between demand and supply of electricity but also they should be clean, environment friendly and sustainable. This research work is based on the piezoelectric effect in which certain materials have the ability to build up an electrical charge from having pressure and strain applied to them. This research paper focused on the applications of auto street light for transportation facilities using that energy. When the roads or the tires of vehicle are engineered with piezoelectric technology, the energy produced by the pressure of moving vehicles is captured by piezo sensors and converted it into electrical charge by Lead Zirconium Titanate as a Piezoelectric Transducer (PZT), then stored the energy and used as an energy generation source. This energy source can be used for auto street lighting as a source of roadside power generation unit. Due to the problems associated with voltage drop and stability limits, a transmission line can not be loaded up to its thermal limit. The potential benefits of installing Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) devices on the system for enhancing power transmission capacity and stability are well known. Two main members of FACTS family like thyristor controlled series capacitor (TCSC) and static var compensator (SVC) have been widely studied and reported in technical literature and have been shown as effective as well as time saving alternative to building new transmission lines for enhancing power transmission capacity and stability. This paper compares the application of series and series-shunt compensation by means of TCSC and SVC to show enhancement of power transmission capacity and stability of East-West Interconnected System (EWIS) of Bangladesh Power System (BPS). Two SVCs are connected in parallel with two buses in the western region of the interconnectors and two TCSCs are connected in series with the interconnectors. An algorithm of employing proposed approach to minimize the maximum percentage overshoot, the rise time, the settling time, and the steady-state error of the terminal voltage of the synchronous generator is presented. From the MATLAB simulation results, it can be settled that the proposed approach has superior features, including fast tuning of PID parameters, stable convergence characteristic, and good computational efficiency. The results obtained from proposed PSO-PID controller are compared with that of estimated by genetic algorithm (GA) and PSO with different fitness functions and is found to have better performance.
