The inertia constant of a system can be a significant tool for investigating the frequency stability of a system and the frequency transient of power system is a vital index for power system operation and research. The dynamic frequency characteristic of power system is the basis of many important design works such as the design of under frequency load shedding scheme. Therefore, it is obvious and essential to analyze the dynamic frequency characteristic of BPS before countrywide blackout after disturbance. This paper first analysis real time frequency transient and determine the system inertia. Secondly it shows that maintaining nominal level of inertial reserve in real-time operations with unit commitment which can be crucial to ensure stable, secure and reliable operation of BPS. Beside this under frequency scheme should be revised and controlled. Successful realization of MCU based products depends on the sound understanding of architecture, instruction and interfacing of the MCU, which can be effectively acquired with the help of a `Microcontroller Learning System (MLS)'. The MLS provides facilities to enter program codes and data into memory; program execution and debugging; checking and changing memory/register contents; breadboard/edge connector for prototyping interfacing circuits; and viewing the result on display devices. This paper presents the design and development procedures of an 89S52 MLS system along with examples to establish its effectiveness in learning microcontroller hardware and programming. Switching mode regulators are used to improve the shape of current and power factor of the input side. In this paper a different type of single phase single switch AC-DC converter using Ćuk topology is reported. Input current is chopped in this converter at high frequency during both cycles by a single switch to get step up/step down conversion. Comparison is made between reported and conventional circuit under same load and operating conditions. This proposed circuit shows better performance. The efficiency of this converter is also high. In this paper we propose an irrigation system that comes in par with the development in technology. Euler's rotation technique is used to modify the wave vector and Hamiltonian matrix in conventional [100] crystal orientation. It is found that there is a substantial correlation between magnitude of strain and optical gain spectra. From the MATLAB simulation results, it can be settled that the energy band dispersion profile, momentum matrix and optical gain deviates exclusively with the increase of strain magnitude. Due to low cost of mobile phones, mobile phones are widely used for home automation. In this paper a remotely operated mobile phone controlled home appliances system is proposed. It is a DTMF (dual- tone multiple-frequency) based system consists of two mobile phones, DTMF decoder and ATmega8 microcontroller. One mobile phone is used as remote which may locate at far distance from home and another mobile phone is located at the home which acts as a receiver. The control information are sent via the remote mobile phone as DTMF tone, this DTMF tone is received by the mobile phone located at home, the received DTMF tone is then decoded by DTMF decoder MT8870 IC. The output logic signal of the decoder is used as input to the ATmea8 microcontroller. This paper discusses the scope of developing a mini hydropower station at Sahasradhara waterfall in the Sitakunda upazila in the district of Chittagong, Bangladesh. In this research work, we are mainly concerned with providing an estimation of the output power to establish a mini hydroelectric power plant at Sahasradhara waterfall. The float method is used to measure flow rate and output power. Hence, now days, accessing data in an acceptable time is one of the biggest challenges in centralized database. In centralized databases, the records can be categorized according to the access frequencies; least accessed records (cold data) and most accessed records (hot data). In a study it shows that more than 90% cases query are requested for hot data, and in case of insertion operation, 99% are done on hot data. Thus categorizing of the data set may improve data accessibility. In this paper, we are proposing a data clustering mechanism based on data access frequency. We have considered only the hot data and the cold data. Here we divided the whole database into two separate files. The first file contains only hot data and the second file contains only the cold data. The time period of hot and cold data will vary for different application domains. The database engine will have direct access on the first database file and in case of unavailability of data; the database engine will look for the second database file.
