Two different structures of hollow core based Photonic crystal fiber (HC-PCF) has been presented in this paper. The sensitivity of the proposed structures was numerically investigated by finite element method (FEM) varying the optical and geometrical properties. The numerical results show that the proposed PCF with six air holes shows 2.22 times higher sensitivity than the PCF with eight air holes in the first layer. Both of the PCFs exhibit reduced confinement loss also. The proposed PCFs can sense the lower refractive index based gases (toxic/ flammable) at a wide range of wavelength 0.8 μm to 2μm.","PeriodicalId":123939,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129712201","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed model considers all the non-ideal effects found in the literature owing to the non-uniformity and the heavy levels of the base doping. The evolving mathematical intractability has been resolved by applying an exponential approximation technique and the concept of the perturbation theory. Simulation results of the proposed model for the exponentially doped base with three types of Ge-dosing profile (box, trapezoidal and triangular) show that the effects of the field-dependent carrier mobility on the base transit time is significant.","PeriodicalId":123939,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130180542","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

OSCs have recently shown significant attention due to their technological advantages of flexibility, light weight, cost effective fabrication and significant improvement in the power conversion efficiency. But the efficiencies of OSCs are still lower than crystal or inorganic silicon solar cells. By studying the photovoltaic properties of organic solar cells it is possible to increase the cells efficiency. If the efficiency can be raises to half of the inorganic solar cell the production cost will be reduced to one-tenth. This paper describes the historical back ground, present situation, future prospectus and technological breakthrough of OSCs. Also explain the long-term sustainability advantages of OSCs with compared to inorganic photovoltaic technologies in terms of energy payback time and CO2 emission.","PeriodicalId":123939,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122848583","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This article examines the relationship between operating performance of different substrates and Tschebycheff polynomial distribution. A number of methods, method of moments (MOM) for numerical analysis and Tschebycheff polynomial distribution for designing the traditional circular pattern on ground plane are used. In like manner, the parametric comparison has been demonstrated in view of the selectivity, 20-dB insertion loss bandwidth (20-dB IL BW) and 10-dB return loss bandwidth (10-dB RL BW). The consequence of that is, two substrates FR4 and RT/Duroid 5870 prevail with good matching upto 70 dB, negligible ripple less than 0.7 dB in the passband and wider, deeper stopband performance upto 6-7.5 GHz. Improving compactness of the circuit with high efficiency, this complication is solved by Tschebycheff polynomial distribution.","PeriodicalId":123939,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"106 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124131141","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The 2nd objective can be effectively achieved with an indoor type PEM fitted with 7-segment bright display unit. The meter designer aims, using appropriate hardware modules and software routines, to guide the PEM for cycling through the following steps: (i) deduct cost of every 0.01kwhr energy consumed, (ii) display balance, (iii) check balance, (iv) disconnect load at zero balance, (v) issue alarm signal to engage correct prepaid card, (vi) read the prepaid card, (vii) zeroing the prepaid card, (viii) update balance, (ix) save balance in nonvolatile EEPROM at power failure, and (x) retrieve balance from EEPROM at power resumption. This paper has described, based on extensive experiments on real hardware using AT89S8252-ADE7755-AT90S2313 chip set, the implementation methodology of a PEM with bright display unit. In this purpose, all the available systems to analyze the risk of a building are first examined. The existing systems are unable to handle uncertainty, which is actually a big challenge for analyzing the risk of a building. However, the rule based expert system, proposed in this paper is capable of capturing all the uncertainties during the risk analysis of a building. The proposed system is developed by using Rule based Inference Methodology Using Evidential Reasoning (RIMER) Approach. Signs of a risky building are considered by RIMER Approach to infer the risk level of a building. Experimented results show that the proposed system analyzes level of the risk more efficiently than the existing systems.","PeriodicalId":123939,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132701145","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
