The modern Steady-state Visual Evoked Potential (SSVEP) based Electroencephalographic (EEG) signals has become the most sophisticated methodology for a BCI paradigms. So, the perfection of SSVEP signal make the perfection of the BCI paradigm. The use of gel based wet electrode for the extraction of EEG signal is too much noisy and unpredictable for long time measurement which degrades the quality of SSVEP signal in a consequence degrades the performance of modern BCI paradigm. In our research, we are trying to solve this degradation of the quality of SSVEP signal. To accomplish this goal, a typical wireless BCIs using dry electrode is proposed for long term application without sacrificing Information Transfer Rate (ITR), Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR). After extracting SSVEP signal using dry electrode, Analog to Digital Conversion (ADC) is proceeded for the wireless transmission for remote BCI paradigms. Finally, after receiving this signal any BCI paradigms can be operated with high degree of accuracy.","PeriodicalId":123939,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114782313","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently it is the key for internet trafficking and network modeling. For analyzing the viability of any specific model queuing theory is processed carefully while manipulating the different parameters to extract the best combination in real-time. A basic M/M/1 (a queuing system with Poisson arrivals, exponentially distributed service times and a single server) model explains how different entities react for variation of parameters. A MATLAB model for M/M/1 queue is taken to observe these changes.","PeriodicalId":123939,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116121797","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Gradually the transmission rate of data is increasing tremendously and breaking the previous generation's record. Now people are thinking of transmitting data beyond imagination. Using multiple antennas both at transmitter and receiver side, MIMO wireless technology efficiently provides very high spectral efficiency, boost the data transmission rate, enhance link reliability and improve system coverage. While transmitting data over mobile radio channels at high bit rates, the impulse response of the channel can be extended over a lot of symbol periods, leading fading and Inter-symbol interference (lSI). Equalizers are used to minimize Fading and interference effects. The analysis of the paper is studying the performance of Minimum mean square error method in terms of BER for MIMO (2×2) and (3×3) wireless channels. Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) modulation technique was used in Rayleigh flat fading channel. Simulating in MATLAB results show that Minimum mean square error (MMSE) receivers is good for noise free channel and is successful in removing ISI. Successive interference method with optimal ordering outperforms the MMSE however a few problems arise because of iterative nature of the algorithm.","PeriodicalId":123939,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116535502","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we present a novel cooperative spectrum sharing protocol using SM. A two phases uncoded decode-and-forward (UDF) relaying scheme is considered. A secondary transmitter (ST) consisting of Mt transmit antennas act as UDF relay for the primary system (PS). In the first phase, a block of information bits of the primary transmitter (PT) is mapped into two information carrying units: a symbol which is chosen from a constellation diagram and a particular antenna number from a set of transmit antennas. The ST is then uses iterative-maximum ratio combining (i-MRC) to de-map the transmitted block of information bits. In the second phase, the ST forwards the estimated primary data by activating only one antenna based on the own secondary data. The primary receiver is then uses i-MRC to estimate the forwarded primary symbol and the secondary receiver uses i-MRC to estimate own secondary data by detecting only transmit antenna indices of the ST. As a result, mutual interference between the PS and secondary system (SS) is avoided. We investigate the bit error rate (BER) of the PS and SS. Simulation results show the efficacy of the proposed system.","PeriodicalId":123939,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124050561","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

TCAMs are widely preferred in network routers for packet forwarding and packet classification. However it is effective for other applications that are suitable for high-speed table which is used for lookup. Reduction of power consumption is one of the biggest-challenges in TCAM design when it is expected not to decrease the speed or memory density. During match detection, switching of highly capacitive Match lines (ML) and Search lines (SL) cause huge power consumption. Energy efficient match detection or ML sensing schemes tries to reduce this power consumption. In this paper, different ML sensing schemes are compared in order to find out the better scheme in terms of better power and speed performance. In conventional scheme large amount of energy is wasted as number of mismatched word is higher. Several further modified schemes are discussed and compared later on. The dedicated comparison circuitry of proposed ML sensing schemes reduces power consumption by minimizing search time and limiting voltage swing of MLs. A 16×16 bit TCAM powered by 1.8V supply voltage is designed with 0.18μm CMOS for this purpose.","PeriodicalId":123939,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"134 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128636958","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A primary focus is on the cluster formation and maintenance. The proposed clustering mechanism divides the network into clusters based on three values: spectrum availability, power level of node and current speed of the node. Therefore, clusters form with the highest stability and flexibility to avoid frequent re-clustering in the network. Moreover, the proposed method integrates the spectrum sensing at physical (PHY) layer with the packet scheduling at MAC layer to be more robust to Primary Users (PUs) activity as well as node mobility in a network. The simulation results show that the proposed protocol outperforms the conventional protocols in terms of throughput, power consumption and packet transmission delay.","PeriodicalId":123939,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126184254","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
