In order to study changes in the activity of secretory serum enzymes in patients with generalized periodontitis (GP) as a result of compre-hensive treatment, there were examined 36 healthy persons and 132 patients with GP with chronic and acute course of the initial (45), the I st (45) and the II nd (42) degree of the disease, somatically healthy, aged 19-45 years. The activity of cholinesterase (CE) and ceruloplasmin (CP) was studied before, immediately after, after 6 and 12 months. There was a decrease in the activity of CE in GP of the initial degree, especially in the case of exacerbation (p 1 <0.05), and after treatment it significantly increased in all patients (p 2 <0.05–0.005) and became higher than normal. Instead, the activity of CP was increased, and due to the therapy it significantly decreased for six months and was close to normal. In the I st degree of the disease, the activity of CE was even lower, and the CP – was much higher. The normalization of activity was achieved by the treatment, especially immediately after it and after 6 months. The decrease in CE and increase in CP indices in GP of the II degree was the largest (p 1 <0.01–≤0.001). The treatment contributed to a significant increase in the activity of CE in the chronic course for the whole year, in the acute course – for six months, as well as a significant reduction in CP in the chronic course for six months, and in the acute course – for a year. The difference with the healthy people after therapy in all patients was insignificant. Strong reliable inverse correlations were found between the activity of CE and CP at all stages of the study. Therefore, significantly altered activity of CE and CP with the use of spirulina is successfully regulated, especially during the first six months, with the achievement of the norm for GP of the initial and I st degree.","PeriodicalId":12101,"journal":{"name":"Experimental and Clinical Physiology and Biochemistry","volume":"26 6 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88763146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The energy metabolism disorder which triggers immunological functions depression which can be manifested by cytokine dysregulation, change of functioning of the cellular components of the immune system with activation of humoral component resulting in hyperglobulinemia is found in clinical trials of type 2 diabetes and obesity. The developmental mechanisms and impact of immunological changes on the processes still remain undefined. It has been established that the visceral obesity without hyperphagia manifestations, accompanied by dyslipidemia, disturbed sensitivity of the peripheral tissue to insulin and hepatic steatosis development, being confirmed by morphological methods and morphometric analysis and shear wave elasticity imaging (SWEI), was registered in 4-month-old rats with neonatal injection of sodium glutamate. The splenic weight and the number of splenocytes in 4-month-old rats with neonatal injection of sodium glutamate decreased secondary to the development of visceral obesity and hepatic steatosis, which resulted in the immune system dysfunction one of the manifestations of which was a dysbal-ance of the content of pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines in blood serum of the rats. The periodic administration of the multi-probiotic «Symbiter® acidophilic» concentrated in rats with glutamate-induced hepatic steatosis triggered the significant restoration of the morphological functional liver condition and the prevention of the hepatic steatosis development.","PeriodicalId":12101,"journal":{"name":"Experimental and Clinical Physiology and Biochemistry","volume":"46 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84707336","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Regeda, L. O. Furdychko","doi":"10.25040/ecpb2021.01-02.036","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.25040/ecpb2021.01-02.036","url":null,"abstract":". Contact dermatitis (CD) and pneumonia remain the most common diseases among the pathology of the bronchopulmonary system and skin. The aim of the research was to determine the level of activity B-lymphocytes, of immunoglobulins A, M, G in the blood and to establish the corrective effect of corvitine on them in the conditions of CD and experimental pneumonia (EP). Studies were performed on 64 guinea pigs, males, weighing 180-210 g. Contact dermatitis was reproduced by the method of VA Volkova, EP was reproduced by the method of VN Shlyapnikov, TL Solodova. The content B-lymphocytes, of immunoglobulins A, M, G in the blood was determined by the method of EF Chernushenko, LS Kogosova. Corvitini was administered daily at a dose of 40 mg per 1 kg of body weight for 10 days (from the 8 th to the 18 th day) EP and CD. Animals were decapitated under ether anesthesia on on the 4 th , 8 th , 10 th and 18 th days before and after administration of this drug. It was found that CD and EP (4 th , 8 th , 10 th and 18 th days) is accompanied by an increase in Ig A content in the blood by 49,2 % (p <0.05), 76,8 % (p <0.05), 104,6 % (p <0.001) and 108,2 % (p <0.001). Ig M by 52,3 % (p <0.05), 54,6 % (p <0.05), 86,9 % (p <0.05) and 97,8 % (p <0.001), respectively; Ig G by 51,3 % (p <0.05), 68,4 % (p <0.05), 79,1 % (p <0.05) and 85,6 % (p <0.05) against control before treatment; B-lymphocytes 23,1 %; 28,5 %; 34,8 % і 42,5 % (p <0.05). The use of corvitine led to a decrease in Ig A, Ig M and Ig G, B-lymphocytes in the blood by 30,1 % (p <0.05), 34,3 % (p <0.05) and 31,5 %, 20,5 % (p <0, 05) in relation to a group of animals with EP and CD before treatment, which indicates its immunocorrective effect. Manifestation of contact dermatitis and experimental pneumonia is manifested by a consistent increase in the content of B-lymphocytes and Ig A, M, G in the blood, in the dynamics of their development with an advantage on the 18th day of the experiment. Our research results suggest, however, that these indicators play an important role in the pathogenesis of the formation of these experimental models of diseases. The use of the drug corvitin led to a decrease in the concentration of immunoglobulins and B-lymphocytes in the blood, which indicated its immunocorrective effect in CD and EP.","PeriodicalId":12101,"journal":{"name":"Experimental and Clinical Physiology and Biochemistry","volume":"16 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78358154","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Disorders of the autonomic nervous system are involved in the pathogenesis of all diseases, but their investigation is of the utmost importance in cardiology. Modulation of the autonomic nervous system is now considered as a strategy of therapeutic influence on cardiovascular diseases. Purpose was to review the current views on the mechanisms, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of autonomic cardioneuropathy, in particular, of biliary origin, and to pool own data on this topic. Literature review in the Pubmed database and summary of the results of own research. The innervation axis of the heart is a multilevel system of integrative centers, which determines the complexity of the interaction mechanisms. Viscero-visceral reflexes are the main trigger of changes in the autonomic nervous system activity. Biliary-car-diac interactions cause the development of biliary autonomic viscero-visceral cardioneuropathy (BAVVCNP). In such cases, cholecystectomy improves the condition of the heart, but metabolic disorders and neuroendocrine imbalance persist, which leads to the clinical symptoms of postbiliary cardioneuropathy (PBCNP). According to our own research, BAVVKCP is accompanied by a significant increase in heart rate, left ventricular dilatation, systolic dysfunction. On the background of PBCNP structural and functional parameters of the heart improve, and arrhythmogenic activity of the myocardium reduces. Autonomic cardioneuropathy is a consequence of viscero-visceral reflexes and disorders of myocardial metabolism at the cellular level. Cardioneuropathy leads to various clinical manifestations with electrical instability, arrhythmias, ventricular dysfunction and remodulation, and coronary insufficiency. of biliary autonomic viscero-visceral cardiopathy include the increased heart rate and arrhythmia, prolongation of ventricular systole and depression of the ST interval, and arterial hypertension. 4. In patients with postbiliary cardioneuropathy, the structural and functional parameters of the heart improve and the number of arrhythmias decreases, which indicates the interruption of pathological autonomic impulses.","PeriodicalId":12101,"journal":{"name":"Experimental and Clinical Physiology and Biochemistry","volume":"123 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89531437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this study was to develop a model of myocardial infarction in rats, which would be easy to reproduce, would have low mortality and at the same time would correspond to the most common idea about the etiology of this disease in humans. In the preparatory phase, a model of cardi-ovasopathy was applied, which was induced by keeping rats for two months on a diet with excess fat and calcium and sodium salts. During the last week, rats were induced systemic inflammation by injecting bacterial lipopolysaccharide. Some studies show that obesity is associated with an increase in bone mass due to excessive mechanical stress. However, these data are contradictory, and the risk of fractures in this group is higher. Bone is a mechanosensitive tissue, its condition depends on constant mechanical effects caused by daily exercise. The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of high-frequency whole body vibration on the process of bone remodeling in rats with a sedentary lifestyle and high-calorie diet. Obesity was simulated using a high-calorie diet and additional consumption of fructose. The experimental groups of rats were affected by whole body vibration with acceleration level of 0.3 g. The effect of vibration was applied for 30 minutes, 5 days a week for 24 weeks. The method of X-ray structural analysis was used to study the ultrastructure and quantify the loss of the mineral com-ponent of the femoral neck. Using X-ray diffraction, we observed an increase in the volume fraction of the crystalline phase in the group of rats that were additionally affected by whole-body vibration compared with the control and the group with obesity. The decrease in the intensity of the diffuse maximum of these samples during the experiment indicates a decrease in the content of both the crystalline and amorphous phases. At the same time, on the 24 th day there is a decrease in both the diffuse maximum and the intensity of the max-ima of the crystal phase in all experimental groups. The results suggest that obesity adversely affects bone mineral mass. Whole body vibration induces an increase in the mineral component, as a result of mechanical oscillations with microdeformation of the bones. This stimulation may be a promising alterna-tive to drug therapy for osteopenia.","PeriodicalId":12101,"journal":{"name":"Experimental and Clinical Physiology and Biochemistry","volume":"8 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74519585","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
