The aim was to study the state of the proteinase-inhibitory system in periodontal tissues in the dynamics of experimental periodontitis (EP) and immobilization stress (IS). Experimental studies were performed on 40 guinea pigs (males), body weight 0.18-0.21 kg, were divided into four groups (10 in each): the first – intact animals – control; the second (experimental) group – animals with experimental periodontitis under conditions of immobilization stress (3 rd day), the third group included guinea pigs with EP and IS on the 5 th day of the combined model process, to IV – animals with EP and IS 15 th day. Experimental periodontitis was modeled by the method of ZR Jogan (1983). Immobilization stress was reproduced by the method of PD Horizontov (1996). Condition of proteinase-inhibitory system in periodontal tissues was determined by lysis of the azoalbumin, azokasein and azokolagen and mainte-nance content of α1-protease inhibitor (α1-IP), α2-macroglobulin by method of Veremeenko K.N., Goloborodko O.P. (1988). The results of the research showed the activation of lysis processes of all markers identified by us. Thus, a grad-ual intensive growth of azoalbumin, azocasein and azocollagen in periodontal tissues was found throughout the experiment. The dynamics of the activity of proteinase inhibitors is characterized by a decrease in all studied markers in all studied days of EP and IS, which indicates their inhibition. The obtained results give reason to think about the imbalance in the system in the protein-ase-inhibitory system with the predominance of proteinase potential against the background of inhibitor depression.","PeriodicalId":12101,"journal":{"name":"Experimental and Clinical Physiology and Biochemistry","volume":"50 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75350796","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of the study was to study the dynamics of changes in hormonal parameters of the ovarian reserve during serial use of cyclophosphamide in the experiment. The experiments were performed on 45 adult female white rats. Levels of antimullerian hormone, estradiol and follicle-© stimulating hormone were studied. In total, 4 courses of chemotherapy were performed with an interval of 3 weeks. After each course of chemotherapy, the hormonal status of the experimental animals was studied twice: during the first proestrus after the course (to determine the acute ovarian toxicity of the drug) and during the last proestrus before the next course of chemotherapy (to study ovarian function). The dynamics of ovarian reserve hormone levels during serial administration of cyclophosphamide was characterized by wavy dynamics with deterioration immediately after chemotherapy and partial recovery during the period between adjacent courses. Ovariotoxicity of cyclophosphamide when administered serially in therapeutic doses in the experiment was manifested by significant changes in the levels of antimullerian hormone, estradiol and follicle-stimulating hormone after the first course of chemotherapy.","PeriodicalId":12101,"journal":{"name":"Experimental and Clinical Physiology and Biochemistry","volume":"45 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90264235","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There is currently an urgent need to create an available experimental model to reproduce the main pathogenetic mechanisms of COVID-associated lung injury. Aim – development of the acute bronchopneumonia experimental model with the pulmonary fibrosis. A group of laboratory Wistar rats (n=20) with full observance of bioethical norms under thiopental anesthesia underwent surgery with the introduction into the trachea of sterile nylon thread 2.5 cm long and 0.2 mm thick to a depth of 2.5 cm; in the control group included 5 animals. For 28 days, the animals were observed and performed pathomorphological, cytological, hematological and microscopic examinations. During the observation, the cyanosis increased, breathing became difficult with the active involvement of the respiratory muscles, severe rales and crepitation were heard. Rectal temperature increased by 1–1.5 o C. On sectional examination after 7 days, the lungs were swollen, pale pink in color, had layers of fibrin, severe cyanosis, intra-tissue hemorrhage. After 21 days, these changes were supplemented by the development of atelectasis and fibrosis. On the 21st day, the granulocyte-lymphocyte index increased (1.5 times; p=0.003). Microscopic examination showed the development in the first week of acute exudative bronchopulmonary inflammation, in the second – the formation of peribronchial and alveolar abscesses, with their organization in the third week, with the subsequent development of diffuse parenchymal fibrosis and vascular hyalinosis. The model of acute aspiration bronchopneumonia in rats with the introduction of nylon thread into the trachea allows to obtain the main clinical and morphological manifestations of acute exudative-proliferative damage to the lungs with the development of pulmonary fibrosis.","PeriodicalId":12101,"journal":{"name":"Experimental and Clinical Physiology and Biochemistry","volume":"124 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87902303","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
