One year earlier, precisely on September 9, 2017, there were floods in almost all areas of the city of Padang. This study aims to determine the atmospheric conditions during flood events from the climatological and meteorological side. The data used are monthly rainfall and a monthly number of Rainy Days (HH) from 1981-2018 from the Minangkabau Meteorological Station, as well as Himawari-8 Weather Satellite data. Satellite data is processed using Satellite Animation and Interactive Diagnosis (SATAID) software to obtain cloud cover analysis, cloud growth activities, and atmospheric lability levels. September 2017 and September 2018 are in the nature of normal rain with a percentage of 101% and 88%. The increase in the amount of rainfall in August 2017 to September 2017 is not significant at 27 mm compared to August 2018 to September 2018 which is significant at 148 mm. The number of rainy days in September 2017 and 2018 were 24 and 23 respectively, which showed that almost every day there was rain in those months. The meteorological analysis shows that there is convective cloud growth activity in the Padang area which is characterized by an unstable level of atmospheric stability which has the potential for moderate to heavy rainfall.Abstrak: Kejadian banjir pada Rabu, 26 September 2018 di beberapa kecamatan di Kota Padang menunjukkan kondisi yang berlainan dengan wilayah Indonesia pada umumnya yang berada dalam kondisi normal hingga lebih kering. Satu tahun sebelumnya, tepatnya pada 9 September 2017 juga terjadi banjir hampir di seluruh wilayah Kota Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi atmosfer pada saat kejadian banjir dari sisi klimatologis dan meteorologisnya. Data yang digunakan adalah curah hujan bulanan dan jumlah Hari Hujan (HH) bulanan dari tahun 1981-2018 dari Stasiun Meteorologi Minangkabau, serta data Satelit Cuaca Himawari-8. Data satelit diolah menggunakan piranti lunak Satellite Animation and Interactive Diagnosis (SATAID) untuk mendapatkan analisis tutupan awan, aktivitas pertumbuhan awannya, dan tingkat labilitas atmosfer. September 2017 dan September 2018 berada pada sifat hujan normal dengan presentase 101% dan 88%. Peningkatan jumlah curah hujan bulan Agustus 2017 ke September 2017 tidak signifikan yaitu sebesar 27 mm dibandingkan Agustus 2018 ke September 2018 yang signifikan yaitu sebesar 148 mm. Jumlah hari hujan di bulan September 2017 dan 2018 berturut-turut sebesar 24 dan 23 yang menunjukkan bahwa hampir setiap hari terjadi hujan di bulan-bulan tersebut. This study aims to develop student worksheets (LKM) based on collaborative problem solving, LKM developed with the help of interactive simulations. The research method used is design and development research (DDR). The data collection technique uses a questionnaire to assess the readability and component of collaborative problem solving in the LKM developed. The research subjects were 9 7th semester students who had taken the thermodynamics course. The results showed that the readability component reached 85.7% with very good categories while the collaborative problem solving component reached 80% with good categories. Therefore, the  LKM used can be used as a media to facilitate and direct students to improve problem solving skills.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar kerja mahasiswa (LKM) berbasis pemecahan masalah kolaboratif, LKM yang dikembangkan berbantuan simulasi interaktif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah design and development research (DDR). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket untuk menilai keterbacaan dan komponen pemecahan masalah kolaboratif pada LKM yang dikembangkan. Subjek penelitian adalah 9 mahasiswa semester 7 yang telah menempuh matak uliah termodinamika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komponene keterbacaan mencapai 85,7 % dengan katergori sangat baik sedangkan komponen pemecahan masalah kolaboratif mencapai 80% dengan kategori baik. This writing is motivated by the lack of mastery of the material so that the learning that is applied is not optimal. For this reason, there needs to be innovation in learning by applying creative blog models based on problem-solving. Model creative problem solving as a problem-solving process accompanied by a blog so that students become motivated and can improve the results of their studies. The method used in this study is to write a library by examining some of the literature to analyze and make conclusions. The writing results show that the application of creative blog-based problem-solving models as learning innovations can be a solution to the problems faced in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Creative problem-solving models are applied to students in secondary schools with several steps, including; students are committed to clarifying various problems that must be resolved, after the chosen problem is then revealed through the blog, further evaluation, and selection process to find solutions to the problems found, after which students are implemented into other groups with blogs that can be accessed by other groups for continuous learning. Creative problem-solving studies that use blogs can enable student participation in class. Thus, the need for students' readiness to accept various innovations.Abstrak: Tujuan penulisan ini untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model creative problem solving berbasis blog sebagai inovasi pembelajaran. Penulisan ini dilatar belakang oleh masih kurangnya penguasaan materi sehingga pembelajaran yang diterapkan belum maksimal. Untuk itu perlu ada inovasi dalam pembelajaran yaitu dengan menerapkan model creative problem solving berbasis blog. Model creative problem solving sebagai proses pemecahan masalah yang diiringi dengan blog agar siswa menjadi termotivasi dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajarnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini yaitu dengan studi kepustakaan dengan mengkaji beberapa literatur untuk dianalisis dan dibuat kesimpulan. Hasil penulisan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model creative problem solving berbasis blog sebagai inovasi pembelajaran dapat menjadi solusi dari permasalahan yang ditemui dalam proses belajar mengajar di kelas. Model creative problem solving diterapkan kepada siswa di Sekolah Menengah Atas dengan beberapa langkah antara lain; siswa melalukan klarifikasi berbagai masalah untuk dipecahkan, setelah masalah dipilih untuk kemudian diungkapkan melalui blog, selanjutnya melakukan proses evaluasi dan seleksi untuk menemukan solusi dari masalah yang ditemukan, setelah itu siswa melakukan implementasi kepada kelompok lain dengan blog yang dapat diakses oleh kelompok lain selama pembelajaran berlangsug. Pembelajaran creative problem solving yang menggunakan blog dapat mengaktifkan partisipasi siswa di kelas. Heavy rains caused by atmospheric instability. To find stable or unstable in the atmospheric condition can use the air stability index analysis. Analyzing the stability index of air can help predict the chances of heavy rain. In case of occurrence of heavy rain in the area of Bogor on 9,10 and 11 November 2018, viewed of index SI, LI, SWEAT, CAPE on the lowest value. The expected conclusion is that there is a relation between rainfall data and stability index. Himawari-8 satellite image from monitoring at the time of the scene showed a thick cloud cover in the area of Bogor during rain events.Abstrak: Hujan lebat merupakan fenomena cuaca yang dapat menimbulkan resiko bagi kehidupan manusia seperti banjir. Hujan lebat disebabkan oleh ketidakstabilan atmosfer. Untuk mengetahui stabil atau labilnya kondisi atmosfer dapat menggunakan cara analisis indeks stabilitas udara. Menganalisis indeks stabiltas udara dapat membantu dalam memprediksi peluang terjadinya hujan lebat. Dalam kasus kejadian hujan di wilayah Bogor pada tanggal 9, 10, dan 11 bulan November 2018 dilihat dari indeks SSI, LI, SWEAT, CAPE pada saat kondisi terendah, pada umumnya kondisi atmosfer menengah stabil. Walaupun dalam beberapa kejadian nilai SSI menunjukan kondisi atmosfer menengah stabil dan CAPE berada pada nilai potensi konvektif lemah. There was a fire in the land and forest of the Gunung Merbabu National Park in Semarang Regency, Central Java. The fire burned the land on Sunday, October 14 2018 afternoon, the area of land in the forest area of Mount Merbabu which was burned reached 100 hectares. The number is predicted to increase because the flames have not been extinguished. Fires in the Mount Merbabu National Park not only damage the forest ecosystem. The fire also decided the pipeline of clean water flowing to a number of hamlets in Batur Village. Land and forest fires are supported by meteorological drought, so studies need to be done to find out the magnitude of meteorological factors that support forest fires and the extent of burning areas. This research was conducted by analyzing the results of meteorological observations obtained from AWS (Automatic Weather Station) installed not far from the slopes of Mount Merbabu, including AWS Pakem Yogyakarta, AWS Borobudur Magelang, AWS Undip Semarang. In addition to the analysis of surface observation data, this study also analyzes the atmospheric conditions of surface wind maps, Rainy Days, and observations of satellite images during the occurrence of land and forest fires in Mount Merbabu National Park.Abstrak: Terjadi kebakaran lahan dan hutan Taman Nasional Gunung Merbabu di Kabupaten Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Api membakar lahan pada Minggu 14 Oktober 2018 sore, luas lahan di kawasan hutan Gunung Merbabu yang terbakar mencapai 100 hektar. Jumlah itu diprediksi bertambah karena kobaran api belum berhasil dipadamkan. Kebakaran di Taman Nasional Gunung Merbabu tidak hanya merusak ekosistem hutan. Kebakaran juga memutuskan jaringan pipa air bersih yang mengalir ke sejumlah dusun di Desa Batur. Kebakaran lahan dan hutan tersebut didukung oleh faktor kekeringan meteorologi, sehingga perlu dilakukan kajian untuk mengetahui besarnya faktor meteorologi yang mendukung terjadinya kebakaran hutan serta meluasnya area yang terbakar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan analisis hasil pengamatan meteorologi yang didapatkan dari AWS (Automatic Weather Station) yang terpasang tidak jauh dari lereng Gunung Merbabu, antara lain AWS Pakem Yogyakarta, AWS Borobudur Magelang, AWS Undip Semarang. This research is development research using Design and Development Research methods (DDR) product and tool research with three specific project phases (analysis, design, and development). In the analysis phase, a syllabus analysis and semester learning plan (RPS) were carried out, and the learning model applied. The results of the analysis phase were teachers centered and there was not a model that can build coordinating between students. In the design phase, the design of LKM based on the eliciting activity is designed. LKM was developed include three syntaxes, namely pre-reading, hands-on demonstration, a model to predict series and parallel circuits. The results obtained at the time of development resulted in an LKM based model-eliciting activity that could train one of the skills in the industrial revolution 4.0, namely coordinating with others and being feasible to be processed on the of a physics course.Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendesain lembar kerja mahasiswa berbasis model-eliciting activity pada materi rangkaian hambatan seri dan paralel. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan metode design and development research (DDR) penelitian produk dan alat dengan tiga fase spesifik (analisis, desain, dan pengembangan). Pada tahap analisis dilakukan analisis silabus dan rencana pembelajaran semester (RPS), dan observasi terhadap model pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Hasil pada tahap analisis adalah perkuliahan masih berpusat pada dosen dan belum digunakan model pembelajaran yang dapat membangun kerja sama antar mahasiswa. Pada tahapan desain dilakukan rancangan LKM berbasis model-eliciting activity. LKM dikembangkan  meliputi tiga sintaks yaitu  pre-reading, hands on demonstration, a model to predict series and parallel circuit. The type of research used quantitative research. Critical thinking ability in the cognitive category is known from the results of the pretest and posttest scores which are arranged based on the test essays of a case. Whereas to measure the critical thinking skills of general and special affective disposition categories, a questionnaire with a Lickert scale was used which was filled out by the students. The application of the inquiry method in the science course further enhances critical thinking skills in the cognitive category compared to critical thinking skills in general and special affective disposition categories of fifth-grade students in four Kanisius Elementary Schools in Yogyakarta. There is a difference in the proportion of the increase in the score of six elements of critical thinking in the cognitive category in class V students in four Kanisius Elementary Schools in Yogyakarta. The increase in the six elements can be sorted from the highest to the lowest increase, namely interpretation, analysis, self-regulation, inference, evaluation, and explanation.Abstrak: Penelitian ini menerapkan metode inkuiri terbimbing yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kategori kognitif, kategori disposisi afektif umum dan khusus serta untuk mengetahui perbedaan proporsi skor enam unsur berpikir kritis kategori kognitif siswa kelas V di empat SD Kanisius Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kategori kognitif diketahui dari hasil nilai Pretest dan posttest yang disusun berdasarkan test essay suatu kasus. Sedangkan untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis kategori disposisi afektif umum dan khusus digunakan kuesioner dengan skala Lickert yang diisi oleh para siswa. Penerapan metode inkuiri pada matapelajaran IPA lebih meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kategori kognitif dibanding kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kategori disposisi afektif umum dan khusus dari para siswa kelas V di empat SD Kanisius Yogyakarta. Ada perbedaan proporsi kenaikan skor enam unsur berpikir kritis kategori kognitif pada siswa kelas V di empat SD Kanisius Yogyakarta. Rain occurs from early morning at around 20.00 UTC or 3:00 WIB with a peak of heavy rain starting at 22.00 UTC or 05.00 WIB. The phenomenon of heavy rain caused several areas to be submerged by flooding, especially in the Sungailiat Inpres Market area, In front of the Bangka Regent office, and the fishing village. This research was conducted to measure environmental conditions when they occur. Analysis of this data uses Radiosonde air observation data on the Pangkal Pinang Meteorological Station which was processed with RAOB (The Universal RAwinsonde OBservation Program) software, and Himawari-8 Weather satellite image data processed with SATAID software then analyzed descriptively. The results show that the rain phenomenon that occurred on February 12, 2017, by the results of Himawari-8 satellite image analysis is at -75oC in the 22.00 to 23.00 UTC range and the above air index analysis is KI 27.5, LI - 4, 6, SI-0.3, TT 45.4 and SWEAT 205.4 is used when events are very unstable which affects the growth of convective clouds and produces bad weather.Abstrak: Pada tanggal 12 Februari 2017, telah terjadi fenomena hujan lebat di wilayah Sungailiat, Kabupaten Bangka yang terletak pada koordinat  1°52'43.14\" LS dan  106°6'57.29\" BT. Hujan terjadi sejak dini hari sekitar pukul 20.00 UTC atau pukul 03.00 WIB dengan puncak hujan lebatnya terjadi mulai pukul pukul 22.00 UTC atau pukul 05.00 WIB. Fenomena hujan lebat tersebut menyebabkan beberapa wilayah di sungailiat terendam oleh banjir terutama didaerah Pasar Inpres Sungailiat, depan kantor Bupati Bangka, dan kampung nelayan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meninjau kondisi fisis atmosfer saat kejadian secara analisis faktor cuaca lokal untuk mengetahui penyebab dari fenomena tersebut. Analisis dari kejadian ini menggunakan data pengamatan Radiosonde udara atas Stasiun Meteorologi Pangkal Pinang yang diolah dengan software RAOB (The Universal Rawinsonde Observation Program), dan data citra satelit cuaca Himawari-8 yang diolah dengan software SATAID kemudian dianalisa secara deskriptif. One of the tropical cyclones that occurred near the territory of Indonesia is Kai-Tak tropical cyclone. Kai-Tak tropical cyclone occurred on December 13-22, 2017 in Philippine waters. In this study, atmospheric conditions in the Indonesian region will be examined during the Kaitak tropical cyclone. The data used in this study are ECMWF reanalysis model data (European Center for Medium Weather Forecast) in the form of vorticity data, Moisture Transport, and wind speed and direction, and also satellite data, namely Himawari-8 satellite IR-1 channel for viewing distribution. spatial cloud propagation index occurring as well as the Global Satellite Mapping of Precipitation (GSMaP) satellite to see the spatial distribution of rainfall as a result of Kai-Tak tropical cyclone. The results showed that in the period December 13-16 2017, in the northern part of Sulawesi, the eastern part of Kalimantan Island, the northern region of Sulawesi Island to the northern part of Halmahera Island and parts of Southern Sumatra and Java were indirectly affected by tropical storms Kai -not where Kai-Tak tropical storms cause light to moderate intensity rainfall in the region. Whereas in the period of 17-22 December 2017 where the weak tropical storms (tropical depression) rainfall that occurred in most parts of Indonesia occurred due to the spread of air masses from Asia.Abstrak: Badai tropis merupakan fenomena cuaca yang hampir tidak terjadi di Indonesia, tetapi dampaknya dapat mempengaruhi kondisi atmosfer di wilayah Indonesia khususnya di wilayah dekat pertumbuhannya. Salah satu badai tropis yang terjadi di dekat wilayah Indonesia yaitu badai tropis Kai-tak.  Badai tropis Kai-tak terjadi pada periode 13-22 Desember 2017 di perairan Filipina. Pada penelitian ini akan dikaji kondisi atmosfer di wilayah Indonesia pada saat  terjadinya badai tropis Kaitak. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data model reanalysis ECMWF (European Centre for Medium Weather Forecast) berupa data vortisitas,Moisture Transport, serta arah dan kecepatan angin, Selain itu digunakan juga data satelit yaitu satelit Himawari-8 kanal IR-1 untuk melihat distribusi spasial indeks konvektif sebaran awan yang terjadi serta satelit  Global Satellite Mapping of Precipitation (GSMaP) untuk melihat distribusi spasial curah hujan sebagai dampak dari badai tropis Kai-tak. The flood was caused by extreme rainfall that occurred since Saturday (7/10) in the morning. The rainfall recorded at the Cilacap Meteorological Station falls into the extreme category because it reaches above 150 mm per day. These conditions indicate a significant atmospheric disturbance. Therefore, the incident was interesting to study related to the atmospheric conditions at that time. This study aims to describe atmospheric conditions on a global scale, regional scale, and local scale. The data used include the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), which includes Sea Surface Temperature (SPL) and its anomalies and Isobars; from the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM), the value of the Southern Oscillation Index (SOI) and the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) phase diagram, reanalysis data from the European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) which includes streamline, relative humidity, vorticity, and vertical velocity, surface data from Ogimet and Himawari 8 Satellite data from the Sub Division of BMKG Satellite Image Management. The results of the study showed that extreme rain that caused the flooding was due to the presence of active La Nina, active MJO, shear, and high humidity.Abstrak: Telah terjadi banjir di sejumlah wilayah Kabupaten Cilacap pada hari Sabtu 7 Oktober 2017. Banjir tersebut diakibatkan oleh curah hujan ekstrem yang terjadi sejak Sabtu (7/10) dinihari. Curah hujan yang tercatat pada Stasiun Meteorologi Cilacap masuk dalam kategori ekstrem karena mencapai di atas 150 mm per hari. Kondisi tersebut menandakan adanya gangguan atmosfer yang cukup signifikan. Oleh karena itu, kejadian tersebut menarik untuk dikaji terkait dengan kondisi atmosfer pada saat itu. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi atmosfer pada skala global, skala regional, dan skala lokal. Data-data yang digunakan antara lain dari National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), yang meliputi suhu permukaan laut (SPL) dan anomalinya serta Isobar; dari Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) yaitu nilai Southern Oscillation Index (SOI) dan diagram fase Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO), data renalisis dari European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) yang meliputi streamline, kelembaban relatif, vortisitas, dan vertical velocity, data permukaan dari ogimet serta data Satelit Himawari 8 dari Sub Bidang Pengelolaan Citra Satelit BMKG.
