Over the past few years, as computer acquisition technology has grown, conventional diagnostic medical imaging modalities have increasingly been replaced by digital imagery. Computed radiography (CR) is one of radiographic image acquisition using computers. CR images could be either .jpg files or DICOM files. We exposed some wrenches which diameter of 5.68 mm; 3.99 mm and 3.2 mm as well as a bottle and a circular cork. We use Siemens mobile x-ray to expose the objects and DroidRender 3D DICOM Viewer as the DICOM viewer. We got two images which are .jpg file and DICOM file respectively. We adjust WW and WL parameters in order to optimize the image of the DICOM file. The results are WW = 2833 and WC = 2170.Abstrak: Citra medis yang dihasilkan oleh sistem radiografi pada dasarnya adalah pemetaan dari berkas sinar-X yang diteruskan yang dinyatakan melalui hukum penurunan intensitas sinar-X. Selama beberapa tahun terakhir, dengan semakin berkembangnya teknologi akuisisi komputer, modalitas pencitraan medis diagnostik konvensional semakin digantikan oleh citra digital. Computed radiography (CR) merupakan salah satu teknologi akuisisi komputer pengolah citra radiografi. Hasil citra radiografi pada CR dapat berbentuk file .jpg ataupun DICOM. Untuk membaca file DICOM harus digunakan DICOM viewer yang dapat diunduh secara gratis dari internet. Pada penelitian ini, obyek-obyek yang dipapari sinar-X yaitu kunci inggris dengan tebal diameter 5,68 mm; 3,99 mm dan 3,2 mm serta botol dan gabus berbentuk lingkaran. Pesawat sinar-X yang digunakan adalah mobile x-ray bermerk Siemens. Aplikasi DICOM viewer yang digunakan adalah DroidRender 3D DICOM Viewer. The purpose of this study are: a) Knowing the mechanism of the Inquiry Method can be used to improve critical thinking skills, b) Knowing the steps of critical thinking, c) Knowing the characteristics of critical thinking, d) Knowing the supporting components of the increasing critical thinking skills by applying inquiry method, and e) Knowing the role of supporting components and their influence in improving critical thinking skills by applying inquiry methods. The results of the study revealed that critical thinking consisted of six sub-abilities which became the core of critical thinking skills, namely interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation. The steps of the Inquiry method are the foundation for critical thinking and can be used as a \"thinking map\". The process of reasoning in a systematic, logical and deep manner accompanied by scientific arguments along with evidence in the form of accurate data/information so that conclusions can be used to train critical thinking. The dominant supporting component that can influence the increase in critical thinking skills using inquiry methods is motivation and learning environment.Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji hal-hal mendasar pada Metode Inkuiri yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: a) Mengetahui mekanisme Metode Inkuiri dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, b) Mengetahui langkah-langkah berpikir kritis, c) Mengetahui karakteristik berpikir kritis, d) Mengetahui komponen-komponen pendukung terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan penerapan metode inkuiri, dan e) Mengetahui peranan komponen pendukung dan pengaruhnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan penerapan metode inkuiri. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa berpikir kritis terdiri dari enam sub-kemampuan yang menjadi inti kemampuan berpikir kritis yaitu interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, inferensi, eksplanasi dan regulasi diri. Langkah-langkah metode Inkuiri merupakan landasan untuk berpikir kritis dan dapat digunakan sebagai “peta berpikir”. Proses penalaran secara sistematis, logis dan mendalam yang disertai argumentasi ilmiah beserta bukti berupa data/informasi yang akurat sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan yang dapat dipertanggungjawabkan dapat digunakan untuk melatih berpikir kritis. This research is in the form of quantitative research and the sample used in this study is one class taken using Saturated Sampling techniques. The research class was treated using a project-based Double Loop Problem Solving learning model. The independent variable in this study is a project based Double Loop Problem Solving learning model, while the dependent variable is Critical Thinking Skill and student Interpersonal Skill. There are 2 kinds of data analysis techniques, namely data analysis techniques about Critical Thinking Skills and data analysis techniques about student Interpersonal Skills. The analysis of the hypothesis test of this study used the T-Test with a significance level of 5%. T-Test Criteria are as follows, Ho is accepted / H1 is rejected if T count is smaller than T table and Ho is rejected / H1 is accepted if T count is greater than T table. From the results of the TT-test for the first dependent variable Critical Thinking Skill T count = 18.77 and T table = 1.782, because T count is greater than T table, Ho1 is rejected, meaning that there is interaction/influence on the implementation of project based Double Loop Problem Solving learning model in improving Critical Thinking Skill. While the results of the T test for the Interpersonal Skill dependent variable obtained T count = 12.33 with T table = 1.782, because T count is greater than T table, Ho2 is rejected, meaning that there is interaction / influence on the application of Double Loop Problem Solving based learning models to improve Student Interpersonal Skills.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi/pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Double Loop Problem Solving berbasis project dalam meningkatkan Critical Thinking Skill dan Interpersonal Skill mahasiswa. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian kuantitatif dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah satu kelas yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Sampling Jenuh. Kelas penelitian diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Double Loop Problem Solving berbasis project. Adapun variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Double Loop Problem Solving berbasis project, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah Critical Thinking Skill dan Interpersonal Skill mahasiswa. The sample of research was the students of Senior High Schools in Ciamis Regency taken randomly (using a random sampling technique). The research method employed was a comparative study conducted in several schools in Ciamis Regency becoming the model of the 2013 curriculum application in the school year of 2013/2014 in the Linear Movement Material of Tenth Grade. To collect the data, several research instruments were used: pre-test and post-test, student questionnaire, observation on the implementation of POE2WE model learning and interview to get the teachers’ response. The data were analyzed using the t-test to see the difference of normalized gain in two groups. The result of research showed that there was a significant difference the students receiving learning using a scientific approach with POE2WE model and those receiving PBL learning model. The data showed that the mean scores of pretest and posttest for the learning using POE2WE model and the one using the PBL model were 42.50 and 29.93, respectively and there was an increase in the mean class learning outcome with N-gain = 0.8 (high category) for POE2WE model and N-gain = 0.5 (medium category) for the PBL model. Regions that have good wind speeds, one of which is West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). West Nusa Tenggara is an area that is crossed by monsunal wind patterns and is an island surrounded by beaches so that the West Nusa Tenggara region receives high winds. This can potentially be installed by wind turbines to be able to convert wind energy into electricity. Wind direction and speed data obtained from satellites are processed into average data then adjusted to the wind speed threshold that can rotate wind turbines. The results obtained are mapped using the GrADS application to determine the potential area for horizontal axis type wind turbine installation at a height of 10 meters based on monsunal pattern direction and wind speed. This study will provide recommendations on potential areas of wind energy and predictions of electrical power that will be generated from the use of these maps. The results of the study show that the West Nusa Tenggara region by utilizing wind energy can create electricity in a year totaling 14067.4026 kWh.Abstrak: Lembaga Penerbangan dan Antariksa Nasional (LAPAN) per 18 Juli 2017 merilis data bahwa dari 166 lokasi yang diteliti, terdapat 35 lokasi yang mempunyai potensi angin yang bagus dengan kecepatan angin diatas 5 meter perdetik pada ketinggian 50 meter. Daerah yang mempunyai kecepatan angin bagus tersebut, salah satunya adalah wilayah Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). Nusa Tenggara Barat merupakan wilayah yang dilintasi oleh pola angin monsunal dan merupakan pulau yang dikelilingi oleh pantai sehingga wilayah Nusa Tenggara Barat menerima hembusan angin yang cukup tinggi. Hal ini dapat berpotensi untuk dipasang turbin angin untuk dapat mengkonversi energi angin menjadi energi listrik. Data arah dan kecepatan angin yang diperoleh dari satelit diolah menjadi data rata-rata kemudian disesuaikan ke dalam batas ambang kecepatan angin yang dapat memutar turbin angin. Hasil yang diperoleh tersebut dipetakan dengan menggunakan aplikasi GrADS guna menetukan wilayah yang berpotensi untuk pemasangan turbin angin jenis sumbu horizontal pada ketinggian 10 meter berdasarkan arah dan kecepatan angin pola monsunal. Penelitian ini akan memberikan rekomendasi wilayah potensi energi angin serta prediksi daya listrik yang akan dihasilkan dari pemanfaatan peta tersebut. On February 14, 2018, there has been extreme rain in the Padang area, West Sumatra reaching 193 mm / day. In this extreme rain study using ECMWF reanalysis data, HIMAWARI -8 satellite data, and observation data on the Minangkabau Meteorological Station, Padang. The data is processed using tables, and images then analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the extreme rainfall occurring in the Padang region of West Sumatra was due to the pattern of closed angina seen around the area around West Sumatra, the highest humidity values were wet to 200 mb, cloud cover patterns that support extreme rainfall, and is supported by divergence and vertical velocity as well as unstable air conditions in the West Sumatra region and beyond. The lowest cloud top temperature reaches -74.5° C, it is indicated that the clouds formed at the time of the incident are convective clouds that are multi-cell.Abstrak: Wilayah Sumatera Barat tepatnya Padang memiliki pola hujan ekuatorial, dimana setiap tahun terdapat dua puncak hujan. Pada tanggal 14 Februari 2018, telah terjadi hujan ekstrem di wilayah Padang, Sumatera Barat mencapai 193 mm/hari. Dalam penelitian hujan ekstrem ini menggunakan data reanalysis ECMWF, data satelit HIMAWARI -8, serta data observasi permukaan Stasiun Meteorologi Minangkabau, padang. Data tersebut diolah dengan menggunakan tabel, dan gambar kemudian dianalisa secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa kejadian hujan ekstrem yang terjadi di wilayah Padang, Sumatera Barat tersebut dikarenakan adanya pola angin tertutup yang terlihat di sekitar wilayah sekitar Sumatera Barat, nilai kelembaban relatif tinggi yakni basah hingga lapisan 200 mb, pola tutupan awan yang mendukung untuk untuk terjadinya hujan ekstrem, dan didukung oleh divergensi dan kecepatan vertikal juga kondisi udara yang labil di wilayah Sumatera Barat dan sekitarnya. In deductive hypothetical thinking, students are required to be more critical in accepting and understanding what they have learned and experienced themselves in the 21st century. In the 21st century learning, using PhET simulations learning media to understand physics learning is better and more interesting. This study aims to determine the differences in deductive hypothetical thinking strategies with PhET simulations on critical thinking skills compared to conventional learning in Work and Energy subject. This research method is using quasi-experiment, randomized control group pre-test and post-test that is a researcher who has a randomized design with initial tests before learning and final test after learning. The subjects of this study were 10th grade level of SMAN 1 Soromandi, where the 10th grade level of MIPA1 was the experiment group with the number of students as much as 26 and 10th grade level of MIPA2 as the control group with the number of students as much as 23. The results of this study concluded that there were differences between experimental groups and control groups, deductive hypothetical thinking is more effective than conventional learning on business and energy material at SMAN 1 Soromandi.Abstrak: Strategi berpikir hipotetikal deduktif adalah suatu pembelajaran yang berisi penjelasan tentang prinsip-prinsip isi pelajaran yang dijelaskan dalam bentuk penerapan hal-hal yang bersifat umum pada hal-hal yang bersifat khusus. Pada berpikir hipotetikal dedukif peserta didik dituntut lebih kritis dalam menerima dan memahami apa yang mereka pelajari dan alami sendiri dalam pembelajaran di abad ke-21 pada kurikulum K13. Dalam pembelajaran abad ke-21 untuk lebih memahami pembelajaran fisika lebih menarik mengunakan media pembelajaran PhET simulations. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan strategi berpikir hipotetikal deduktif dengan PhET Simulations terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada pembelajaran fisika materi Usaha dan Energi. Metode penelitian ini adalah menggunakan quasi esperiment, randomized control group pre-test dan post-test yaitu suatu penelitian yang memiliki rancangan secara acak dengan tes awal sebelum pembelajaran dan tes akhir sesudah pembelajaran. The 2013 curriculum has the policy to reduce and even eliminate homework, so students can use their time at home to study according to their own desires, cooking, farming, art, and other positive activities. The reality shows different things, students use mobile phones, play games, or watch television which causes students to have more difficulty understanding the lesson, lack of interest in learning, practice questions, and improve learning achievement. In fulfilling the additional intake of lessons for students, it is necessary to manage distance learning called the learning management system. This study aims to increase interest and learning achievement using Edmodo as LMS. The research subjects were the eleventh-grade student in Ngawi, East Java totaling 31. The study was conducted in October using classroom action research methods. Data collection with observation and questionnaire techniques as qualitative data, as well as student cognitive tests as quantitative data. The results showed that the utilization of Edmodo on fluid dynamics could increase the interest and achievement of physics learning of the eleventh-grade students. Therefore, the utilization of Edmodo needs to be introduced and used by students in the current era digital era.Abstrak: Kurikulum 2013 memiliki kebijakan untuk mengurangi dan bahkan menghilangkan pekerjaan rumah, sehingga siswa dapat menggunakan waktu mereka di rumah untuk belajar sesuai dengan keinginan mereka sendiri, memasak, bertani, seni, dan kegiatan positif lainnya. Kenyataannya menunjukkan hal yang berbeda, siswa menggunakan ponsel, bermain game, atau menonton televisi yang menyebabkan siswa memiliki lebih banyak kesulitan memahami pelajaran, kurangnya minat dalam belajar, latihan soal, dan meningkatkan prestasi belajar. Dalam memenuhi tambahan asupan pelajaran bagi siswa, perlu untuk mengelola pembelajaran jarak jauh yang disebut sistem manajemen pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar menggunakan Edmodo sebagai LMS. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI di Ngawi, Jawa Timur sebanyak 31. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Oktober menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi dan kuesioner sebagai data kualitatif, serta tes kognitif siswa sebagai data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan Edmodo pada fluida dinamis dapat meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar fisika siswa kelas XI. This research activity was conducted in odd semester 2018/2019 school year, with research subjects of XI MIPA class 3 semester 1 SMA N 1 Ngemplak school year 2018 / 2019. Data required in this study were obtained through test and non-test techniques. test in the form of observation / direct observation to students when learning activities take place both in the first and second cycles, using assessment instruments that have been provided. While the test technique is in the form of a written test that is carried out after each cycle ends. </span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">From the results of research learning activities that have been carried out for two cycles and based on the entire discussion and analysis that has been done can be concluded that: Application of Discovery Learning Models Assisted by LKS can improve learning fluid material physics in XI MIPA class 3 semester 1 SMA N 1 2018/2019. Area of coral reef in Indonesia known as the “Coral Triangle”. This ecosystem has high ecology and economic value. The existence of the coral reefs is the main attraction for a tourism destination. However, the function and role of these ecosystems are decreasing due to natural factors and artificial factors. One of the natural factors is due to the influence of global warmings, such as sea surface temperature (SST), causing damage and coral death, known as coral bleaching. The purpose of this study was to identify the potential for coral bleaching in Indonesian waters using SPL anomaly analysis obtained from monthly AVHRR POES in the morning and night. This research used hotspots data (HS) by calculating the average of data anomaly difference with a maximum monthly average data during 10 years (2006 - 2017). The results obtained show that areas that have the potential to become coral bleaching in Indonesian waters are quite varied. In general, it covers the northern coast of Banten, DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, the northwest coast of Lampung, Pekanbaru, and Riau, the northwest coast of Papua Island, and North Natuna waters. The results also showed that sea surface temperatures in Indonesian waters were quite influential on coral bleaching.Abstrak: Indonesia merupakan negara penyumbang terumbu karang terbesar yaitu 18% dari total dunia. Wilayah terumbu karang di Indonesia dikenal dengan wilayah “Coral Triangle”. Ekosistem ini memiliki nilai ekologis dan ekonomis yang tinggi. Keberadaanya merupakan daya tarik tersendiri untuk dijadikan lokasi wisata. Namun, fungsi dan peranan ekosistem ini menurun akibat faktor alam dan faktor buatan. Salah satu faktor alamnya diakibatkan pengaruh pemanasan global yaitu naiknya suhu permukaan laut (SPL) sehingga menyebabkan kerusakan dan kematian karang atau dikenal sebagai pemutihan karang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi potensi terjadi pemutihan karang di wilayah perairan Indonesia menggunakan analisis anomali SPLyang diperoleh dari POES AVHRR pagi dan malam bulanan. Metode yang diugunakan mencari data hotspot (HS) dengan melakukan perhitungan rata rata selisih data anomali dengan data rata rata maksimum bulanan selama 10 tahun (2006 - 2017). Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa wilayah yang berpotensi menjadi pemutihan karang di perairan Indonesia cukup beravariasi. Secara umum meliputi meliputi pesisir utara dari Provinsi Banten, DKI Jakarta, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur, pesisir barat laut Lampung ,Pekanbaru dan Riau, pesisir barat laut dari Pulau Papua, dan perairan Natuna Utara.
