To realize robust localization against unknown obstacles by using a particle filter, a space observation model has conventionally been used. However, this approach requires a lot of computation time for matching voxel. Therefore, in this study, we propose a fast matching method using the integral image. In the proposed method, it is considered the spatial information defined by the voxel is made up of a plurality of grid map layer. By calculating the inconsistency of spatial information by the integral image for the grid map for each layer, and realize high-speed processing time.","PeriodicalId":116715,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology (ICIT)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114476455","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By using high frequency injection, the input variation power that is related to the high frequency variation rotor position, is measured. After that, the input variation power signal is used to determine the new advance angle command of an IPMSM drive system. Finally, the IPMSM drive system can be automatically operated at the maximum torque/ampere control without requiring any motor parameters. A digital signal processor, made by Texas Instruments Company type TMS-320LF-2812, is used as the computation center to execute the whole control algorithms. Experimental results validate the correctness and show the proposed method can achieve maximum torque per ampere control for an IPMSM drive system with satisfactory performance.","PeriodicalId":116715,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology (ICIT)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114816323","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We modified the surface of NiTi plate samples by depositing TiO2 oxide using atomic layer deposition (ALD). We found excellent corrosion properties of the coated NiTi samples, implying that ALD has great potential in depositing protection or biocompatible layer for 3D printing. Additionally, using a mechanical tester installed in the sample chamber of a scanning electron microscope, we were not able to see any tensile-load-induced microcracks in the thin atomic layer deposited TiO2 coating. Whereas the TiO2 layers grown thermally by oxidizing NiTi at temperature around 450 °C contained densely distributed microcracks during loading.","PeriodicalId":116715,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology (ICIT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115799491","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Application of sufficient high PEF guarantees killing of harmful germs and bacteria in the drinking water. In this paper, a new multi-module high voltage pulse generator is proposed. Each module is based on DC-DC boost converter in conjunction with capacitor-diode voltage multiplier (CDVM), with closed loop control on its output voltage. The modules are fed from isolated low voltage DC sources, and their synchronized pulsed output voltages are connected in series to increase the total pulsed output voltage. The main advantages of the proposed approach are modularity, scalability, redundancy, and employment of relatively low/medium voltage semiconductor devices to generate a high output voltage (i.e. no need for series connected switches). The proposed approach is validated by simulation study assuming different operating conditions.","PeriodicalId":116715,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology (ICIT)","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124211780","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A POMDP ([7] and [8]) is a generalization of a standard completely observable Markov decision process that allows imperfect information about states of the system. Policy iteration algorithms for POMDPs have proved to be impractical as it is very difficult to implement. Thus, most work with POMDPs has used value iteration. But for a special case of POMDP, we can formulate it to an MDP problem. Then we can use our sensitivity view to derive the corresponding average reward difference formula. Based on that and the idea of event-based optimization, we use a single sample path to estimate aggregated potentials. Then we develop policy iteration (PI) algorithms.","PeriodicalId":116715,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology (ICIT)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124539064","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To improve the accuracy of Mars landing, a new nonlinear entry guidance law for low lift landers has been developed. The sliding mode control (SMC) compound with extended state observer (ESO) for tracking a reference trajectory is proposed. The guidance method is based on SMC theory and ESO adapted to the problem of entry guidance. ESO are applied to estimate the disturbance, by which sliding mode controller is designed combining the two approaches respectively to force the state variables of the closed loop system to converge to the reference trajectory. Also, simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the control strategy.","PeriodicalId":116715,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology (ICIT)","volume":"108 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131108395","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
