En las gramáticas latinas antiguas, el tratamiento de los diminutivos era heterogéneo: desde una perspectiva semántica se destacaba su cercanía a los grados de comparación –en tanto representan la disminución de la esencia de un nombre– y desde una formal se clasificaban como derivados –en tanto se derivan de nombres primitivos–. Aunque la mayoría de los gramáticos relaciona el diminutivo con el comparativo y el derivativo, existen diferencias notables en el caso de los «grados del diminutivo». El presente artículo constituye la primera historia completa de la doctrina de los grados del diminutivo en la gramática latina.","PeriodicalId":11579,"journal":{"name":"Emerita","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2018-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45967424","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"历史学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Este trabajo constituye una contribución a su descripción sintáctica, semántica y pragmática, realizado en el corpus de las novelas griegas conservadas completas, cinco obras escritas entre los siglos I y IV en un griego aticista. El análisis revela que οὐδέ tiene dos funciones en el marco discursivo: la de conector o colaborador en la conexión entre dos unidades discursivas; y la de modificador de un segmento discursivo al que señala como foco inclusivo. Ambas funciones permiten incluirlo entre los marcadores o partículas discursivas.","PeriodicalId":11579,"journal":{"name":"Emerita","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2018-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43814287","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"历史学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Por su contenido esta pieza quizás pretende marcar una nítida frontera entre cristianismo y paganismo; sin embargo, el análisis formal del texto revela claramente que su autor puede ser considerado un sofista cristiano o un cristiano entre los sofistas. En este trabajo, trataremos de analizar de qué modo y con qué recursos formales Basilio dialoga con la tradición literaria griega, entendida como un depósito incuestionable de conocimiento, que puede imitar e incluso criticar, para adaptarla al entorno cultural del s. IV d. C. y ponerla al servicio de sus convicciones teológicas.","PeriodicalId":11579,"journal":{"name":"Emerita","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2018-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41283493","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"历史学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Aunque en el pasaje se desarrollan puntos claves para la comprensión de la finalidad del diálogo, no ha recibido aún la atención que merece ni de la crítica antigua ni de la moderna. En él, (1) se defiende una concepción de la educación basada en la reminiscencia y en clara oposición a la sofística, (2) se define la posición de la Idea del Bien como el objeto de aprendizaje más importante y (3) se responde definitivamente a la pregunta de por qué los filósofos han de asumir el gobierno de la polis.","PeriodicalId":11579,"journal":{"name":"Emerita","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2018-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45152738","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"历史学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After an introduction and some methodological considerations, the author studies the types of accent in the third foot of a group of eighteen Idylls (those that can be safely attributed to Theocritus), then the types of accent with which the poet closes his verses and, finally, he conducts an analysis of the correlation between the type of accent in the third and in the sixth foot. The study attempts to detect similarities and differences between the different poems and groups of poems, and to verify if they correspond with those found in the metricological analysis.","PeriodicalId":11579,"journal":{"name":"Emerita","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2018-05-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45091651","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"历史学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This circumstance is especially dramatized in II 119-144 as well as in I 27-44 and III 73-166. Nevertheless, Book III is the locus of the work in which this dramatization is most emphasized, since little less than a half of the Book (the first half) is devoted successively to Romulus and to Numa. IV 355-400). Taking Livy’s intertext (Liv. I 25) as a starting point, the changes the Flavian epicist introduces with respect to his model are analized. Silius emphasizes some of the characteristics of civil war already apparent in Livy’s narrative; however, the episode is closed by the praise to the fighters in a clear allusion to the famous apostrophe to Euryalus and Nisus ( Aen . IX 446-449). This strategy, apparently contradictory but totally deliberate, contributes to define the concept of epic in relation to his predecessors Virgil and Lucan, and his contemporaries, especially Statius. The texts of the Thebaid with which these of the Punica are compared seem to prove it.","PeriodicalId":11579,"journal":{"name":"Emerita","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2018-05-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46520806","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"历史学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
