The oscillator topology is based on the series feedback dielectric resonator oscillator (DRO) structure. The precise design procedure of the series feedback dielectric resonator oscillator is presented. A λ/4 open stub microstrip line is arranged at the output port in order to improve the suppressions of harmonic frequencies. The simulation results show that, the phase noise exhibits about -100 dBc/Hz@10KHz while the output power at 7.7 GHz is 10 dBm and the suppression of harmonic frequencies are better than -50dBc. In the practical measurements, the phase noise exhibits -95dBc/Hz@10KHz while the output power is 9.4 dbm and the suppression of harmonic frequencies are better than -40 dBc.","PeriodicalId":108357,"journal":{"name":"2013 8th International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ELECO)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129659680","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Two separate structures are utilized for fault diagnosis. One is to identify the dynamics of the plant and the other is to construct the residual logic mechanism. The performance of the proposed methods are evaluated by simulations carried out on a three tank system (TTS). Noise parameters vary from country to country. They depend on time, place, load types, power line topology and mains voltages. This is annoying issue for researches who try to make a mathematical model to understand noise characteristics. Therefore a lot of measurement campaigns should be done before setting up a mathematical model and also model has to include statistical studies. The subject of this paper is the development of a statistical noise model for Narrowband PLC in the low voltage network. Noise model parameters were derived from measurements of the mains voltages in using Data Acquisition card (DAQ) and a digital signal processing program. Results of this model obtained very akin to present situations. Contribution of this study is that it helps the researcher to work independent of power line voltage and frequency.","PeriodicalId":108357,"journal":{"name":"2013 8th International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ELECO)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126757276","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In literature, load forecasting studies are generally realized for macro size settlement units. However, determination of parameters that effect load forecasting in macro size settlement units is very difficult. In this study, by considering a micro size settlement unit (Güney district of Denizli province), factors that may affect the load demand were examined. Then, by selecting popular methods used in the literature, load forecasting for the region was realized. Finally the results obtained from the models were compared.","PeriodicalId":108357,"journal":{"name":"2013 8th International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ELECO)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126364818","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Twitter has become one of the most popular of these social media services. Finding relevant information in the large space of Twitter is a challenge. Various algorithms have been developed to find related tweets. Extracting tweet topics is one of the techniques that can be used for this purpose. Recently, LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) has been successfully used in analysis of tweet topics in English. However, LDA hasn't been tried on Turkish tweets. Turkish is an agglutinative language, which makes application of LDA a new challenge compared to LDA on English tweets. A series of preprocessing steps like stemming, stop word elimination, cleaning of punctuations and spelling errors etc. to make the tweet texts suitable for LDA analysis are used in our application. 6 6.000 tweets and 4.000 control tweets with Twitter4j library are crawled [2]. Zemberek library is used for stemming [3]. The language used in tweets - with its own rules, wide spread spelling errors or made-up words - make text analysis very difficult. Some of these problems are solved by adding new words into Zemberek library and some of the problematic words are completely removed. After preprocessing, LDA i s performed and 40 topics are extracted. The initial results look promising. Some significant topics such as football teams, celebrity names or hot news topics are detected. Using these results, automatic recommendation of relevant tweets will be performed.","PeriodicalId":108357,"journal":{"name":"2013 8th International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ELECO)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134146619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
