The authors of the article believe that three types of cognitive practices correspond to the three images of philosophers. A Pleologus arises as a consequence of the use of these practices. The authors further apply the Pleologus of cognitive practices to the philosophical analysis of the world's oceans, which allows us to take a new look at the significance of the ocean and water in the origin of life.","PeriodicalId":107715,"journal":{"name":"The Humanities And Social Studies In The Far East","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122505128","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the authors of the article, this specificity was determined by the frontier (spatial, temporal, ethnic, social, religious) circumstances of the formation of the population of Northern Manchuria, the powerful development of oriental and Chinese studies in these territories since the beginning of the 20th century, the pre-vious experience of foreign communication of representatives of the older generation of emigration, the organic integration into the bor-derline being of “children of emigration.” On the material of lyrics and prose by Arseniy Nesmelov, the authors of the article explore the poetic images of the perception of China and the Chinese from the point of view of their conceptual, metaliterative, sociocultural basis, as well as methods of expression. It is concluded that the modernist approach is very soon replaced by Nesmelov's realistic narrative in the spirit of ethnographic sketches. From the propaganda neomyphologism and space-time indifferency inherent in the former capital journalist, the Harbin writer turns to the point of view of the \"simple Harbin resident\" and beyond, to a detailed penetration into the eve-ryday psychology of ordinary Chinese (Manchus), residents of Manchuria (peasants, laborers, Hunhuz).","PeriodicalId":107715,"journal":{"name":"The Humanities And Social Studies In The Far East","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131371336","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Everyone's biography is a creative odyssey that runs through the stormy sea of his modern era. On this path, the \"provincial\" or \"metropolitan\" origin of the philosopher is not so significant. Much more significant is the image that remains in the memory of contemporaries as a milestone of the pillar road of philosophical thought. The article presents the material of a conversation with Professor R.L. Livshits, organized on the eve of his 75th anniversary. Small strokes indicate the stages of his creative path, philosophical maturation from a student to Doctor of Science. The twists and turns of his creative destiny, which reflected the very breath of the Soviet era, are shown. Within the framework of the intellectual meeting, the issues of ethics of scientific work, demarcation of science and non-science, modernization of the Russian education system were touched upon. The polemical pages of the intellectual biography of the Far Eastern philosopher are highlighted and the problem of choosing a strategy for the development of the Russian North and the Far East is also considered.","PeriodicalId":107715,"journal":{"name":"The Humanities And Social Studies In The Far East","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133660600","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The idea is substantiated that the emotions surrounding the information flow to a greater extent determine the formation of perceptions. The main content of the study is an analysis of the results of associative experiment (words of stimuli: «psychologist»; «psychotherapist»; «psychotherapy»), the questionnaire «Attitude towards psychotherapy», projective methods «Visit to psychotherapist». The author comes to the conclusion that in modern society, people of the older age group (36-50 years old) in comparison with the younger generation are less aware of obtaining psychological and therapeutic assistance, contacting qualified specialists, stereotyped in their ideas, have a negative attitude to psychotherapy, do not see the possibility of help from these specialists.","PeriodicalId":107715,"journal":{"name":"The Humanities And Social Studies In The Far East","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130351806","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Traditionally, calque is interpreted as a type of borrowing or a way of translation, but in the process of analyzing literary text, calque is seen as a tool that allows a writer, using the means of one language, to reflect the consciousness of a native speaker of another language. Specific cases of the use of Chinese semantic calques in Boris Yulsky’s stories are identified and analyzed. The conclusions are made about their literary functions: Chinese semantic calques allow the writer to reflect important features of Chinese picture of the world and national communicative behavior, create authentic images of Chinese characters, immerse Russian reader into the atmosphere of Chinese culture.","PeriodicalId":107715,"journal":{"name":"The Humanities And Social Studies In The Far East","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115576722","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
