To answer this question, the author suggests turn-ing to understanding the essence of life and comes to the conclusion that the carrier of life is a population, not an organism. For the existence of a population, a geographical area and communication between organisms are necessary. Next, indirect and direct com-munication between people is considered. A fatal mistake in modern financial circulation leads to the inevitable self-destruction of the \"monetary civilization\". A forecast is made about the transition to local money. An example of a typical mistake in scientific communication is given when an artistic image is presented as an abstract concept. The conclusion is made about the advantage of direct communication in comparison with indirect communication.","PeriodicalId":107715,"journal":{"name":"The Humanities And Social Studies In The Far East","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127078263","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Personal names are culturally significant elements and very often raise questions and present difficulties in translating from one language to another. Despite the developed system of transliteration and transcription, translators always face the problem of the cultural specificity of the proper name and the personal name as its variety. The novels of the English-writing Russian author Olga Grushin offer the internal translation of personal names, those done by the bilingual author herself.","PeriodicalId":107715,"journal":{"name":"The Humanities And Social Studies In The Far East","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125675581","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are several models for the implementation of project-based learning in the educational programs of universities. This article discusses the model of integrated curriculum, the model of optional learning and limited model of project-based learning. The latter model is implemented in the context when the curriculum presents project activity as a separate discipline that is not formally integrated with others academic subjects.
