The simplicity of energy analysis in the controlled system is formulated and proposed. The proposed approach presents a novel reference current generation of three-phase system under distorted and/or unbalanced load using cycle by cycle basis. The low harmonic distortion, unity power factor and balanced load can be achieved by sensing and controlling the source current. An appropriate model for identification and control synthesis is obtained via modelization procedure where several phenomena are included like gyroscopic effects, aerodynamic friction. A comparison between simulated and real system is made in closed loop system using a same controller. In the next stage for legged robots, it is required to move fast and get over high obstacles. Hopping motion enables a legged robot to move like that. Therefore, hopping motion must be considered. In landing phase of the hopping cycle, the robot is affected by reaction force from the ground. There is a possibility for robots to upset and to be damaged because of reaction force at landing moment. In order to reduce reaction force, variable compliance control was proposed. However, the robot is not able to achieve desired motion at bottom with conventional variable compliance control, since command values of variable compliance controller are not equal to zero at bottom. In this paper, we propose a transition method from compliance control to position control for hopping robot to achieve the desired position of COG (center of gravity) at bottom. It is important for a hopping robot to achieve a desired position at bottom since the robot must prepare for a next hop. With the proposed method, the transition from compliance control to position control is appropriately achieved, and a phase shifts smoothly from landing phase to thrusting phase. Therefore, a desired position at bottom is achieved. The stator being static is prone to high temperature and the study of transient thermal behaviour in the stator is useful to identify causes of failure in induction machines. The paper presents a two-dimensional transient heat flow in the stator of an induction motor using arch shaped elements in the r-thetas plane of the cylindrical co-ordinate system. The model is applied to one squirrel cage TEFC machine of 7.5 kW. Like points or arcs, straight line segments are primitives on which to base a higher-level representation for object recognition. We propose a novel method for the detection of lines with minimum straightness. It consists of a point linking procedure verifying a straightness constraint measured by the moment of inertia of the segment points. A neighbor point is added to the segment if the enlarged segment has a limited moment of inertia. The implementation was computationally optimized to abandon inappropriate segments as soon as possible and to limit the cost of inertia computation to the current point thanks to an incremental scheme. The straight-line detection algorithm is general purpose and contains an intuitive straightness parameter expressed in pixel. The LV surges can then cause the high-speed fuses protecting LV adjustable speed drives (ASDs) to operate and this can disrupt production. LV ASDs often include supply-side reactors to make them less susceptible to surges (in particular capacitor-switching surges). For the network studied, these reactors did not prevent operation of the particular ASD highspeed fuses. One possible reason was that the supply-side reactors were saturating during the surge conditions associated with MV fuse operation. But when both of the server and client are contained in different private networks respectively and their routers use a dynamic IP address, most of general routers do not adduce an answer. In this paper, we propose a solution to this problem and devise an embedded router by registering the IP address of server-side router to dynamic DNS, automatically retrieving it, and using port forwarding techniques. With this router, the client device simply assumes its destination as its gateway port of the client-side router. The first level uses model predictive control (MPC) to allocate resource capacities, while the second level does the sequencing. A plant-wide linear optimization problem is formulated for the first level. Next, smaller independent clusters within the plant are identified and production is sequenced for these. This approach has the advantages of centralized allocation and being linear can solve large size problems. The sequencer takes care of local effects, that otherwise would make the MPC problem complex.
