Institutions with a clear identity also produce clearer educational processes, ecosystem and relations between educational institutions. The problem is that Islamic educational institutions are often seen as monolithic and stigmatized as second-class educational institutions. For this reason, this article focuses on constructing the identity of SDIT Al-Hidayah and SDIT Al-Wathaniyah in Sumenep, Madura. To answer the focus of this article, a qualitative approach was used by choosing the type of case study based on a multi-site design. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were then analyzed using an interactive analysis model, which included data collection, condensation, data display, and conclusions. Credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests were conducted to determine the validity of the data. The results of this study indicate that, in general, the construction of the identity of Integrated Islamic Primary Schools in Sumenep consists of three essential elements, namely Islamicity, integration and locality. Islamicity means that the entire identity of the integrated Islamic schools is based on the Islamic values of Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah. The identity of integration refers to the integration of the curriculum, the roles of teachers and parents, the identity of the soul of educators, and the integration of institutions under one foundation. Meanwhile, local identity is an identifying identity taken from local wisdom, such as a Qur'ani-inspired school, a madrasah-nuanced school, and a philanthropic school.","PeriodicalId":102671,"journal":{"name":"Analisa: Journal of Social Science and Religion","volume":"11 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139353311","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Salafis, with their teachings of Islamic purity, is considered a religious organization that severely restricts women's activities. This reality makes the public think that Salafi women are domesticated, subordinated, and discriminated against in terms of gender. This study examines and explores the concept of gender equality in the Salafi family and how it is contextualized in reality and women's economic movements. This qualitative research uses observational data, periodic WhatsApp application interviews, and documentation studies. This study shows that, first, an understanding of gender equality has been developed in Salafi families in Lampung, although its implementation still requires negotiation by considering the rights and obligations of women in the family, as wives, mothers, and both. Second, while still paying attention to religious norms, Salafi women utilize social media, the internet, and digital technology to build businesses, partner, and connect with many parties. Third, the creativity of Salafi women in building homes as a place for entrepreneurship, no longer a domestic space, has been able to form alliances instead of causing conflict between home and workplace and clouding public perceptions that they are domesticated.","PeriodicalId":102671,"journal":{"name":"Analisa: Journal of Social Science and Religion","volume":"93 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139353322","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Various cases of religious intolerance show a lack of voluntary action through an understanding of the treatment of volunteerism for social purposes through love (philanthropy) in the form of acts of generosity (compassion). This paper discusses the Philanthropy of Religious Tolerance Education in the Implementation of the \"Kurikulum Merdeka\" at Al-Kautsar Elementary School and Pangudi Utami Elementary School.This research qualitative field research with a data collection approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study show that philanthropy is always closely related to things that are engaged in charity or are closely related to material elements. This narrow view is currently beginning to erode, especially with the increasing interest of school students in philanthropic activities which are closely related to the behavior of those who do them out of concern. The meaning of philanthropy is expanding and developing. Philanthropic activities are increasingly organized and directed. Considering Thomas S. Kuhn's paradigm shift concept, particularly the revolutionary stages, there was a separation of the national political transformation period in NU. A paradigm shift which opens awareness in understanding the science does only happens in established objectivity. The product of ijtihad, due to the deposition of knowledge, always has natural subjectivity with what they believe as the truth. Thus, innovative movements in finding alternative linear formulations that can always form dialogue with the times must always be carried out. Through literary work, this article illustrates that demarcation boundaries of the occurrence of NU's national political shift characterized by the pre-normal phase, normal phase, anomaly-crisis phase, and new-normal phase. Utilizing Kuhn’s perspective as tool of analysis, this study finds out that there are a few stages of paradigm shift experienced by NU. NU's struggles marked the pre-normal phase as an embryo before finally becoming an organization. The birth and development of NU marked the intermediate phase as a socio-political-religious organization on the track of the struggle. The anomaly-crisis phase occurred when NU metamorphosed into a political party, involved in interests, and strayed from its goals. The new-normal phase was marked by NU's return to Khittah in 1926, which meant returning to a social-religious-based organization. NU has returned to the struggle to fill and maintain independence through national politics in this phase.","PeriodicalId":102671,"journal":{"name":"Analisa: Journal of Social Science and Religion","volume":"26 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139353076","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For Indonesian people, religion is not only seen as a ritual but also as a part of the social relations between society members and the state. However, the sacred value of religion in social relations is degraded through normative recognition in the form of official religious politics. The policy does not actually engender order and justice. On the contrary, official religious political policies and restrictions on religious freedom raise widespread discriminatory practices that affect religious minority groups, such as the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Community. The purpose of this study is to examine the tension between the law and the right to freedom of religion or belief in cases of discrimination against the Ahmadiyya Community of Indonesia from the point of view of the legal theory of legal disorder. The research methods used are socio-legal with a statutory approach, a conceptual approach, and a critical legal study approach using legal disorder theory. This research emphasizes that the Ahmadiyya, as a sect in Islam, has the right to freedom of religion within the Forum Internum. In practice, the official religious politics subordinated the rights of religious freedom under the control of religious majoritarianism. However, empirical facts show that the multireligious social context of Indonesian society places the situation in a state of irregularity. Through the disorder of law theory, Sampford opens the horizons of the legal paradigm, showing that seeing and answering various irregularities cannot be done through the lens of order.","PeriodicalId":102671,"journal":{"name":"Analisa: Journal of Social Science and Religion","volume":"40 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139353486","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Genealogically, there are two factors to view Islamism here, namely the relationship between Islam and politics in the past, and the people’s cultural and social construction, which has a strong Islamic base. Therefore, the collective memory about the relationship between Islam and politics, as well as the construction, then has implications in the lives of the Acehnese people in closely viewing those from various aspects. This study applies a qualitative method in which the data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The findings indicate that Islamism in Aceh is not a form of compensation from the Government of Indonesia to quell the conflict, but rather the form of aspirations that come from below on the long-standing awareness in the cultural and social structure of the locals regarding the relationship between religion and the state. In addition, unlike similar studies involving the notion of Pan-Islamism, the result shows that Islamism is more likely as the demands to retrieve political recognition.","PeriodicalId":102671,"journal":{"name":"Analisa: Journal of Social Science and Religion","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126067935","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
