The main purpose is to understand the status quo of process innovation in food industry, suggest future research agenda, and propose a framework for describing food process innovations. The review is guided by Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). This study argues that reviewed literature has not adequately addressed process innovation in the food industry, especially with orientation to financing structures and financial performance. Moreover, the specific measurement scale for process innovation in the food industry is lacking. This paper enlightens scholars and practitioners in the agri-food industry on the current situation of process innovation and avenues for advancement. The major contribution of this study is the proposed framework for describing food process innovation. Several research agendas are suggested. The need for developing a specific measurement scale for food process innovations is contended.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":101202,"journal":{"name":"Sustainable Technology and Entrepreneurship","volume":"3 3","pages":"Article 100073"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2773032824000038/pdfft?md5=6ceb6e5188cea59e74f63fcbed675322&pid=1-s2.0-S2773032824000038-main.pdf","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139726095","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Fish is widely regarded as a significant source of protein. Despite the significance of fisheries, it is faced with several challenges such as constant change in climate. This study was conducted to examine the perception of fisher folks on climate change and the relationship between socio-economic characteristics and adoption of climate smart fisheries using semi-structured questionnaire. Perception towards climate change and adoption of climate-smart fisheries were analyzed using statistical inferential statistics. The predictor of co-management as a mitigative measure for climate change in fisheries was also analyzed with an ordered logistic regression technique. The result showed that 92.5 % of the fishers have formal education. Majority of the fishers (98.3 %) have no access to storage facilities whilst 96.66 % have access to market. In addition, 31.66 % of the fishers have access to information on climatic and weather conditions. On the perception of climate change, 47.5 % of fishers perceived decrease in amount of rainfall as evidence of climate change whilst 66.6 % perceived decrease in sea level as evidence of climate change. A few fishers perceived an increase in humidity, change in temperature and wind-storm or sea breeze as evidence of climate change. Again, 48.33 % of the fishers agree to reduction of fleet's carbon emission whilst 33.33 % fishers disagreed to diversifying sources of household income as an adoption to climate-smart fisheries. Additional cost in the beginning of adoption of climate smart fisheries as a constraint was agreed upon by 50.00 % of fishers. The results of the ordered logistic regression show that age, education, having a second source of income and an increase of fuel subsidy are statistically significant to fishers perception of the extent to which co-management could contribute to address climate change was detected.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":101202,"journal":{"name":"Sustainable Technology and Entrepreneurship","volume":"3 3","pages":"Article 100072"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2773032824000026/pdfft?md5=24fd4c9991d0a6a761e8e9b1e98658f9&pid=1-s2.0-S2773032824000026-main.pdf","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139434085","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These innovations offer creative solutions to address longstanding challenges. However, the novelty of these concepts has given rise to issues related to information asymmetry among investors, exacerbated by the opinions shared on social media platforms. To comprehensively analyse the trends of these technologies and their societal impact, as well as their influence on the contemporary business landscape, we conducted a study in the social platforms X (formerly known as Twitter) analysing 59,453 tweets using natural language processing (NLP). Through this research, we have identified key topics such as investment security or corporate challenges that provide valuable insights and structured information essential for industry stakeholders. In summary, this study explores the dynamic interplay between blockchain technology, ICOs, STOs and social media in the industry. It sheds light on the sentiment and implications of the use of this technology and these emerging financial models, offering a nuanced understanding of their impact on the market. Thus, the idea that user opinions play a crucial role in influencing decisions is supported, and their impact can fluctuate depending on the changing dynamics of the market.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":101202,"journal":{"name":"Sustainable Technology and Entrepreneurship","volume":"3 3","pages":"Article 100071"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2773032824000014/pdfft?md5=af089232c65683d0aa9a8e3bbd8e61e3&pid=1-s2.0-S2773032824000014-main.pdf","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139393839","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Epidemics like COVID-19, Monkeypox, Influenza and HIV have been affecting people and public health infrastructure at an alarming rate around the world. COVID-19 alone has infected more than 500 million people out of which 6 million have died over 100 countries. HIV is also a major global public health issue and has claimed 85.6 million lives till 2023. Forecasting the trends of these epidemics is important in order to efficiently manage national and global health risks by improving early warning systems. Therefore an intelligent framework to forecast epidemic diseases is proposed and a detailed comparative analysis is conducted using different time-series models. This study contributes to (Sustainable Development Goal) SDG-3 by predicting epidemics disease trends precisely using ARIMA, Polynomial Regression, SARIMA, Holt’s, Fb-Prophet time-series models, which can decrease the burden on healthcare systems. Using the best-suited models, the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) values for Monkeypox, HIV, COVID-19 and Influenza forecasting were 0.0129, 0.0035, 0.0011, and 0.024 respectively.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":101202,"journal":{"name":"Sustainable Technology and Entrepreneurship","volume":"3 2","pages":"Article 100064"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2773032823000275/pdfft?md5=350778f8c3d493b00198ef9b08b33518&pid=1-s2.0-S2773032823000275-main.pdf","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139395907","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The quantitative computation of the number of impacts has been rendered insufficient for evaluating and planning a communication campaign. Strategic planning relies on increasingly more precise models for determining the desired formula. These models do not typically take the physiological parameter essential to decision-making into account: emotion. The technologies applied to the new methodologies that neuromarketing brings rely on great support from theorists and professionals, even though hardly any studies that center on strategic planning media exist. In this study, we present an analysis of the residual effect and the distortion of erroneous attribution stemming from neuromarketing's own technologies with the objective of analyzing the influence of adjacent content items on the subject's decision-making process. Cross-technologies were used: EEG and GSR, with the goal of analyzing the subject's emotional activation and motivation. The results demonstrate an emotional dragging effect and the appearance of bias of attribution with very significant values in every case, showing notable differences regarding the nature and polarity of emotions.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":101202,"journal":{"name":"Sustainable Technology and Entrepreneurship","volume":"3 3","pages":"Article 100069"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2773032823000329/pdfft?md5=0b783383f86cd7125b76c8555d44d403&pid=1-s2.0-S2773032823000329-main.pdf","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139111603","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of this study was to design green marketing strategies to promote nature tourism in the Coto de Caza El Angolo Protected Natural Area [hereinafter ANP CCEA]. A basic study with a non-experimental, descriptive and cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach was chosen. Simple random probability sampling was used, with a sample of 133 potential visitors. The technique used was the survey and the instrument used was a questionnaire with 15 items. The study showed the need to implement green marketing strategies that provide a service familiar with environmental protection, including recycling and reuse practices. Also, offer fair and competitive prices based on the customer's perspective and perceived quality. The green marketplace strategy focuses on reverse logistics and/or circular economy, given that the service provided should not generate damage to the environment during the commercialization process, nor put at risk the preservation of scarce resources. The green promotion strategy focuses on using social networks, thus optimizing the amount of resources used. In addition, villagers should create and market distinctive souvenirs of the area that are created with local resources. It is also recommended to implement social marketing strategies focused on persuading a change in behavior, using digital marketing channels such as electronic wallets and encouraging the host community to diversify and enhance the services offered.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":101202,"journal":{"name":"Sustainable Technology and Entrepreneurship","volume":"3 3","pages":"Article 100067"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2773032823000305/pdfft?md5=36307d378d9cd9d5586293bf54f880e3&pid=1-s2.0-S2773032823000305-main.pdf","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138988234","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, this research seeks not only to alleviate prevailing uncertainties but also to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the economic landscape by identifying causal factors and providing a relevant contextual framework for the threats to society and regional development in the aftermath of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which affects sustainability both economically and socially. These disruptions have given rise to unprecedented uncertainties that could potentially trigger an irreversible cascade of shortages, leading to escalating costs of critical or irreplaceable products that directly affect regional development. This paper scrutinizes this intricate process, aiming to discern underlying patterns and mitigate the prevailing uncertainty—a state that challenges rational decision-making. In this pursuit, established economic theories are deployed to provide comprehensive insights into the evolving reality. Through an in-depth analysis of the interplay between the Covid-19 pandemic, the ensuing economic crisis, and the ramifications of the Ukraine-Russia conflict, this research reveals a stark decline in economic growth. Physical, sexual and emotional abuse seriously affects women's freedom, with consequences not only psychological and physical but also economic, in the form of health, labour, legal and police costs. Therefore, society demands effective governmental measures based on respect for human rights and aimed at promoting equality to avoid intimidation and ill-treatment. This paper proposes to carry out a bibliometric analysis of the literature to investigate the state of the art of public policy and <em>gender violence or domestic violence or violence against women</em> to detect the patterns of behaviour that have marked the lines of study over the last two decades (2001–2022), by analysing a sample of 355 articles. The results reveal that scientific production has grown exponentially recently, with Brazil and the USA having the most significant involvement. Furthermore, three clearly differentiated lines of research are evident: the detection of risk factors and prevention measures; feminist movements aimed at empowering women, seeking their independence; and the qualification of care services supported by public policies. However, they all have the same objective, to achieve gender homogeneity and stop any type of violence against women and girls.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":101202,"journal":{"name":"Sustainable Technology and Entrepreneurship","volume":"3 3","pages":"Article 100066"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2773032823000299/pdfft?md5=2ca5b5fad46303b5700b4a100aee372a&pid=1-s2.0-S2773032823000299-main.pdf","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139033821","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
