Sometimes the questions are submitted anonymously by employees; at other times, they are generated by management to address concerns believed to be shared among employees. In either case, a Q-and-A format, tailored to your operation, provides an engaging opportunity for employees to receive campaign communications and pay more attention to them. To illustrate the technique, some sample questions and answers are provided below.</p>","PeriodicalId":100883,"journal":{"name":"Management Report for Nonunion Organizations","volume":"47 5","pages":"4-5"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140541081","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By and large, the vehicle through which union-free status can be restored is decertification: a process whereby employees file a petition for an election to oust an incumbent union. Employers are significantly limited in their ability to aid such efforts, as the law confines them to providing no more than ministerial assistance to decertification efforts.
