At the same time, tandem OLED device structure could achieve higher outdoor brightness, reduce battery capacity and reduce the risk of burn‐in effect of OLED display. Therefore, tandem OLED device structure would have a wide range of applications in the future. However, the side effects of tandem OLED device structure are raised the driving voltage and reduced the voltage stability of the device. Our work is to mitigate that side effect. In this paper, the voltage stability of 2‐ unit top‐emitting tandem red OLED was optimized through material screening and structural adjustment. After 300 hours of operation, the variation of voltage has dropped form 0.167 V to 0.085 V at 10 mA/cm2. The driving voltage of tandem red OLED had also decreased by 0.25 V.
Digest of technical papers. The \u0000proposed method generates a SWEEP signal based on the linearly \u0000increasing voltage of the capacitor by flowing a constant current to \u0000the horizontal line parasitic capacitive load. The constant current \u0000is supplied by the sweep generation (SG) circuit in each line. Since \u0000the SG circuit utilizes the existing SCAN signals for the pixel \u0000circuit, additional SCAN or clock signals are not required. Among various smart window technology, a phase grating liquid crystal (LC) device shows outstanding properties such as clear off state, high haze in on state, and no viewing angle dependence. Although it can have excellent optical performance, an LC phase grating device requires complicated pattern electrode structure on both top and bottom substrate. To make the device in cost effectiveness, it is required that simple and cost saving design of LC cell is essential. In this presentation, we will introduce our recent progress in LC phase grating smart window. Based on the optimal LC cell design, a trade‐off between performance and cost was minimized while maintaining the advantages of previously researched phase grating LC smart window.
Digest of technical papers.
