It is built on an enhanced version of chat line. The rules and other measures adopted in the workshop line discussions make it possible to extract topics with actual meanings in real time. In this paper, a tool for real-time topics extraction and visualization in workshop line discussions-THETA (a thesaurus-based topic analysis tool) is introduced. It is mainly based on a hierarchically structured thesaurus, which incorporates expertise. By simply scanning input text, counting frequencies of terms, summing up frequencies and sorting frequencies, topics with actual meanings can be extracted rapidly. Experimental results show that THETA works well and the real-time output can help online users to understand the contents of discussions and to discuss more fluently and efficiently.","PeriodicalId":90702,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. Input shaping is a simple and effective method. for reducing the residual vibration when positioning lightly damped systems. Also, it can be used to a class of system with oscillation to reduce or even eliminate the overshoot with the rise time as short as possible. In this paper, several types of command shaping techniques are introduced and compared. The relationship between different kinds of input shapers can be seen as well as their characteristics. Finally, applying the traditional ZVD method and the OATF to shape a closed-loop system verifies the proposed ideas.","PeriodicalId":90702,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. Simulation results illustrate that the scheduling framework can adapt the dynamic uncertainty of system objects, loads and tasks, and statistically guarantee the multi-constraints. The two-dimensional discrete wavelet transform is a nearly ideal subband analysis/synthesis subsystem in image processing. Based on the fundamental theory of the wavelet transform, an edge detection method is successfully used in the feature extraction of a meter's image. To obtain the pointing errors of meters on a gauge panel, a new machine vision inspection criterion for the assessment of pointing accuracy is proposed. On the basis of this research, a machine vision inspection system for automobile gauge panels is developed. It is used in an automobile assembly line, performing quality inspection tasks with high accuracy.","PeriodicalId":90702,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. The theoretical validity of new conversion equation is studied and testified. Besides its significant advantages over traditional equation on temporal performance, better mapping performances is mathematically explained as a minor advantage. It is shown in illustrative experiments that average 30% time was saved in computing when using new saturation conversion equation instead of traditional one.","PeriodicalId":90702,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings.
