The assessment of resistance to fusarium wilting of varieties and samples of flax-long-lived (Linum ussitatissimum L.) from the “Collection of Russian flax” of the Flax Research Institute (NIIL, Torzhok) was carried out. The experiment was conducted for three years from 2019 to 2021. Most of the samples showed average resistance to the disease. The greatest degree of resistance to fusarium wilting (87.5-100%) was shown by the the variety Sursky (86.9%) of the selection of the Flax Research Institute. The lowest resistance to the disease was shown by varieties B-100 (40.4%) and Peresvet (37.1%), their resistance indicators were lower than the susceptibility of the AR-5 standard variety (45.6%), which allows them to be classified as highly susceptible.","PeriodicalId":8805,"journal":{"name":"BIO Web of Conferences","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76709926","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the influence of selection, the nucleotides of Bifidobacterium animalis would not be presented with equal probability. Bifidobacterium animalis was frequently added to food because of its special metabolic pathway, which could catalyze fructose and lactic acid. This study analyzed industrial Bifidobacterium animalis and environmental Bifidobacterium animalis through strategies such as a phylogenetic tree, ENC, RSCU, PR2, neutral graph, and ENC top/bottom gene enrichment graph. The result was that the Bifidobacterium animalis as a whole is greatly affected by the environment, while the difference between the internal industrial bacteria and environmental bacteria was not apparent. This study could provide a reference for the screening of industrial strains from Bifidobacterium and the further development of Bifidobacterium.","PeriodicalId":8805,"journal":{"name":"BIO Web of Conferences","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82294233","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this study was to assess the effect of different cultivation techniques on the quantitative and qualitative characters of the grapes of cv Xinomavro, during the cultivation season 2019-2020. The experimental vineyard is located in Giannakochori, Naoussa (Greece), where the vines are trained in bilaterally cordon-trained (bilateral Royat) and plant density of 4000 vines/ha. The following viticultural techniques were evaluated on two different sub-plots of the vineyard: (i) the effect of two training systems (Lyre-shaped training system – bilateral Royat) on the southern side of the rows (vineyard orientation W-E), (ii) the effect of two planting densities (4000 and 10000 vines/ha). In all samples, the sugar content of the must was calculated using a refractometer, the active acidity (pH) using a pH meter and the total acidity using a sodium hydroxide solution (NaOH). Mechanical analysis of the grapes of all the samples under study was performed. The weight of thirty (30) berries, the weight of the grape and the length and width of the berries and the grapes of each sample were measured. The use of a spectrophotometer quantified the content of grape's skin in total anthocyanins, total phenolics, condensed tannins, total ortho-diphenols, total flavonoids, total flavanols, total flavonols and flavones and their antioxidant capacity with the use of FRAP and DPPH methods. The use of high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) identified the most important anthocyanins and acids found in grapes. The measurements in the grape seeds were made on the same compounds as the skins, except for total and individual anthocyanins. Differences in sugars and active acidity of the must as well as in phenolic compounds were observed during the various treatments. The training systems also exhibited differences: the grapes originating from the Lyre-shaped training system showed higher concentration of total soluble solids and tannins, while those originating from the bilateral Royat recorded higher pH. The right side of the vines, which was more exposed to higher temperatures (due to southern wind), recorded higher concentrations in most phenolic compounds. Planting density recorded differences in almost all measurements and especially in total and individual anthocyanins. Moreover, the results showed increased concentration in skin tannins, in total soluble solids, pH, and higher concentration of total phenolics and flavonoids, thus making the wine coming from these grapes ideal for maturing and ageing.","PeriodicalId":8805,"journal":{"name":"BIO Web of Conferences","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82525510","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Today, Russia's food security is sufficiently strengthened. However, a reasonable question arises about the promising directions of its development. The article explores the possibility of using digital platforms to improve the efficiency of national food security management. It is established that currently many countries of the world are betting on increasing the level of self-sufficiency in food as a fundamental condition for ensuring national food security. At the same time, the importance of criteria such as food quality and compliance of the domestic food market with the requirements of healthy nutrition is rapidly increasing. Using the example of the dairy market, it is shown that the Russian food market is quite stable and is characterized by the predominance of domestic production over imports in resources. There is an increase in exports. At the same time, there are no signs of active import substitution, the growth of domestic consumption lags behind the growth of production. To solve the current problems of food security, it is proposed to implement digital platforms in the agro-industrial complex at the stages of production of agricultural raw materials, its processing, consumption control and implementation of social policy to support the nutrition of socially vulnerable segments of the population. The use of digital platforms is aimed at improving the efficiency of national food security management.","PeriodicalId":8805,"journal":{"name":"BIO Web of Conferences","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76216966","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To determine the prognosis of cerebral strokes in the near future, a “Register of cerebral strokes” was conducted in the desert-steppe zones of Uzbekistan – using the example of the Khorezm region for 2019. The conducted register of strokes in 2019 in the desert-steppe zones of Uzbekistan revealed 3569 cases of stroke, of which 1967 (55.1%) in men and 1602 (44.9%) in women. The population aged 20 years and older was 1,150,135 people, of which 565,722 men (49.2%) and 584,413 women (50.8%). The mean age of patients with stroke was 63.85±0.2 years, in men - 62.9±0.3 years, in women - 65.1±0.3 years. The incidence of cerebral strokes corresponded to 194.43 cases per 100,000 population. The incidence of cerebral strokes at the age of 20 and older was 310.32 cases per 100,000 populationThe main risk factors for stroke are: arterial hypertension (62.3%), atherosclerosis (19.5%), coronary heart disease (7.5%), diabetes mellitus (3.8%). Seasonality of strokes in the region - ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes prevailed in winter (28.1% and 29.7%) and spring (31.7% and 25.0%) months, respectively. Subarachnoid hemorrhages prevailed in summer (36.8%) months. In winter and spring, the “spastic” type of heart is a provoking meteorological risk factor for the development of ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes. The cultivation was performed for 30 days on MS medium supplemented with 4.0 mg/L BAP. The regimes of cultivation included 15 min. immersion every 4, 8 and 12 hours. The highest amount of accumulated dry biomass (ADB = 10.86 ± 0.02 g/L) was reached at 15 min. immersion at every 8 hours, whereas the lowest (ADB = 4.65 ± 0.26 g/L) was recorded when 15 min. immersion on every 4 hours was used. HPLC analyses showed that the higher polyphenol content was achieved when shoots were cultivated by using 15 min. immersion on every 12 hours. At this conditions, the shoots produced maximal amounts of chlorogenic acid (164.82±32.36ug/g DW), caffeic acid (26,90±6,80μg/g DW), rutin (891,67±122,29μg/g DW) and rosmarinic acid (559,19±19,85μg/g DW). The observed antioxidant activity (DPPH, ABTS, CUPRAC and FRAP) was following the accumulation of total phenolic. The study demonstrates that TIS are effective for cultivation of Gardenia jasminoides shoots.","PeriodicalId":8805,"journal":{"name":"BIO Web of Conferences","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87141034","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
