These are the promising vehicles for effective transdermal drug delivery. The present research work was aimed to develop niosomal-based transdermal Clozapine patch containing a stable formulation with improved drug permeation. Niosomes were prepared by solvent casting method. All the formulations were evaluated for vesicle size, zeta potential and percent entrapment efficiency. All the patches were then characterized for thickness, folding endurance, drug content determination, Flatness, and in vitro permeation studies. F3 formulation having optimum vesicle size (2.6m), highest zeta potential (-32.56mV) and maximum percent entrapment efficiency (98.09%) was selected as optimized formulation. The transdermal patch was prepared using solvent casting method from the optimised niosomes formulation F3 formulation. The prepared optimised niosomes F3 formulation were loaded into the patch formulation. Patches loaded with niosomes (F3NT3) showed 95.78 % cumulative amount of drug permeated. The optimized formulation (F3NT3) followed first order release kinetics.","PeriodicalId":8531,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences","volume":"14 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81115989","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Basically, drug targeting should help the drug molecule to preferentially reach the desired site. The inherent advantage of this technique results in the administration of the required drug with its reduced dose and reduced side effect. This inherent advantage of a targeted drug delivery system is also strongly recognized by research and development in the clinical and pharmaceutical fields as the backbone of therapeutics and diagnostics. Various drug carriers that can be used in this advanced delivery system are soluble polymers, biodegradable microsphere polymers (synthetic and natural), neutrophils, fibroblasts, artificial cells, lipoproteins, liposomes, micelles, and immune micelles. The goal of a targeted drug delivery system is to prolong, localize, target, and have a protected drug interaction with the diseased.","PeriodicalId":8531,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences","volume":"9 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86524997","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These devices are ranging in size from 0.1-10 micrometers and constructed of nanoscale. Due to their small size and wide functional properties, nanorobots have created exceptional prospects in medical, biomedical and pharmaceutical applications. The names nanobots, nanoids, nanites or nanomites have also been used to describe these hypothetical devices. Nanorobots are capable of performing task like actuating, sensing, signalling, information processing and intelligence at the nanoscale. Nanotechnology promises futuristic applications such as microscopic robots that assemble other machines or travel inside the body to deliver drugs or do microsurgery. Nanorobots could carry and deliver large amounts of anti-cancer drugs into cancerous cells without harming healthy cells, reducing the side effects related to current therapies like damage of the conventional chemotherapy. They are well used to cure HIV, cancer and other harmful diseases; they can restore lost tissue at the cellular level, useful for monitoring, diagnosing and fighting sickness. A recent discovery in the field of drug delivery is target therapy, which improves the diagnostic tests and medical devices.","PeriodicalId":8531,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences","volume":"152 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73217762","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mulberries are colorful berries that are eaten both fresh and dried. They're a good source of iron, vitamin C, and several plant compounds and have been linked to lower cholesterol, blood sugar, and cancer risk. Mulberries are the fruits of mulberry trees (Morus sp.) and are related to figs and breadfruit. The trees are traditionally grown for their leaves mainly in Asia and North America as they’re the only food that silkworms eat. They carry colorful berries most commonly black, white, or red that are often made into wine, fruit juice, tea, jam, or canned foods, but can also be dried and eaten as a snack. Mulberries have a decent amount of fiber. The present communication carries an attempt to evaluate the study of phytochemical physicochemical parameters e. g. successive extractive values in different solvents, ash values, alcohol, water, and hexane soluble extractives, moisture contents, loss of weight on drying at 105oC, pH values of 1% and 10 % aqueous solutions, qualitative and quantitative mineral contents, and thin layer chromatography of different extracts. Besides, the qualitative and quantitative analysis of Phyto-constituents like alkaloids, total phenolics, tannins, sugar contents, crude fibers, proteins, and estimation of heavy metals, microbial loads, pesticide residues, and aflatoxins were also carried out which will be useful in the identification and control of the possible adulterations of the raw drug.","PeriodicalId":8531,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences","volume":"166 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77559308","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This deterioration is the primary risk factor for major human pathologies including cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases. Aging research has experienced an unprecedented advance over recent years, particularly with the discovery that the rate of aging is controlled, at least to some extent, by genetic pathways and biochemical processes conserved in evolution. This review enumerates nine tentative hallmarks that represent common denominators of aging in different organisms, with special emphasis on mammalian aging. These hallmarks are: genomic instability, telomere attrition, epigenetic alterations, loss of proteostasis, deregulated nutrient-sensing, mitochondrial dysfunction, cellular senescence, stem cell exhaustion, and altered intercellular communication. A major challenge is to dissect the interconnectedness between the candidate hallmarks and their relative contribution to aging, with the final goal of identifying pharmaceutical targets to improve human health during aging with minimal side-effects.","PeriodicalId":8531,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences","volume":"7 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89512437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
