The researcher transcribed contents of 60 conflict conversations between parents and adult children as the basic material for research. Triggering factors relevant to conflicts between parents and adult children included difference in opinions, feelings of regret, telling a lie, difference in values, interference, and misunderstanding. Such factors can cause conflict conversations between parents and adult children in daily life. Furthermore, during such conversations, development aspects the parents showed were criticizing, neglecting, exploiting their position, admonishing, appealing, and changing the topic, while those that the children showed were criticizing, speaking honestly, appealing, and requesting acknowledge. Since the smartphone market started in 2010, it has developed applications for Korean language education and, today, various Korean language learning applications are available. The purpose of this study is to examine how the preferences of Korean language learners influence their intention to use Korean language learning applications. Accordingly, the study involved measuring the communication anxiety and innovativeness of Korean language learners and examining whether they use applications to learn Korean and how frequently they use such applications. Results revealed that 80% of the respondents use Korean language education applications. On examining the relationship between learners’ characteristics and the learning method, the study reveals that technological innovativeness of learners is associated with their tendency to study Korean using the Internet or mobile applications. For this purpose, I examined earlier studies in intonation and the use of Praat as an analysis tool as well as an educational method. Previous research reveal that no significant result was obtained regarding the effectiveness of using Praat in teaching intonation to Korean learners. However, in this study, I used Praat for Chinese learners and taught “eul.geol”. Further I found that the group that was trained in intonation using Praat achieved a more appropriate accent than the group that was trained without using Praat; further, I found this result to be statistically significant. In conclusion, Teaching Korean Intonation using Praat can be beneficial to Chinese learners, since the method enables them to acquire much visual and objective information. It was known that the stimulus necessary for constructing the integrated speaking tasks have a certain influence on the performance of the task. This study was conducted by conducting a discourse analysis of the task takers’ performance in integrated reading-speaking tasks collected through the KoSTAP. The use of reading stimulus was categorized into “reproduction“ and “creation“.
