The brain needs oxygen and glucose reserves to work, if there is a blood vessel blockage, it can cause oxygen and glucose inadequacy which can reduce the work function of brain nerve cells. Hypertension is a medical condition of an elevated vascular blood pressure above normal limits. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between blood pressure and cognitive function in the elderly at RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. This study is an analytic observational study using a cross-sectional method with total of 32 elderly people were selected using a purposive sampling method. Data was analyzed by using Pearson. The average value systolic blood pressure was 152,2 ± 5,1 from secondary data of medical record, and the average value of cognitive function using the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) was 26,3 ± 1,0 with Pearson correlation test results obtained value of p = 0.594 and r = 0.098. The cause of preeclampsia is currently uncertain, but there are several risk factors that can increase the occurrence of preeclampsia. Coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) is caused by the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS CoV-2). Pregnant women and hypertension are factors that can increase the risk of COVID-19. If not treated properly, hypertension in pregnancy can cause maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. The purpose of this study was to describe the incidence of maternal hypertension in pregnancy with COVID-19 based on age, parity, gravida, history of preeclampsia, and education at Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin for the period May 2020-June 2021. This research method was descriptive with data collection through medical records. patient. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The subjects of this study amounted to 88 patients. This study shows preeclampsia is the type of hypertension in pregnancy with COVID-19 being the most common, which was 57 patients (64.7%). Most of the patients were in the age range of 20-35 years, as many as 52 patients (59.3%). Based on parity, most of the cases occurred in mothers with multilipara as many as 39 patients (44.3 %). In some cases, heart failure is usually accompanied by other pathological conditions where the process occurs at the same time as other diseases called comorbidities. In addition to the underlying disease, this disease is also a trigger, a risk factor, and a complication that further aggravates the condition of heart failure. Comorbidities are commonly found in elderly heart failure patients, resulting from the failure of several organ functions. However, the distribution of these comorbids varies in each age group. Uncontrolled hypertension causes complications of heart failure which is also a comorbid of heart failure itself. This study aims to determine the distribution of the incidence of heart failure patients with comorbid hypertension at Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin. This study used a retrospective descriptive research design with amethod total sampling by taking medical record data of heart failure patients who underwent outpatient treatment at Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin for the time range of February 2020-July 2020. From 188 heart failure patients during the time range of February 2020-July 2020, obtained as many as 84 (44.68%) patients with heart failure accompanied by hypertension.
