The structure consists of a capacitive rectenna, designed as a patch antenna realized with the last metal layer of the CMOS process. A whisker reaches the gate of a MOS-FET transistor from the antenna, obtained with a standard via. Rectification can be obtained by the self-mixing effect occurring into the plasma waves generate in the substrate, underneath the gate. With such sensitivity, photon noise becomes the dominant noise component, even when using cryogenically cooled optics, unless a method of restricting the spectral bandpass is employed. One method is to use a low-resolution diffraction grating spectrometer to post-disperse the signal from a high-resolution instrument, such as a Fourier transform spectrometer (FTS). This concept has been adopted for the SAFARI instrument on the SPICA mission. The double-tunnel TWT with a meander-line slow-wave structure (SWS) at V -band and the triple-beam TWT with grating SWS at G-band are designed. Technologies for microfabrication of the SWSs are discussed. The results of SWS fabrication and characterization are presented. Multiple-beam electron-optic system is designed and beam transportation in a uniform magnetic field is studied. This paper proposes a fusion between CNT film absorbers and easily printable flexible thermoelectric modules (TEGs) to design a highly-sensitive, highly-integratable, three-dimensional $pi$-shaped PTE pixel structure. A simple transfer printing enables vertical alignment of Bi2Te3-based PN TEG pairs on a flexible substrate. We demonstrate that optical pulses (400nm and 800nm) induce transient broadband THz transparency in this MXene, which lasts for nanoseconds and is independent of temperature from 95 to 290 K. The experimental setup allows variation of the reflection from 0 to 35% over a range of gyrotron operating conditions.
