Chinese belongs to the subject-prominent language, while English belongs to the topic-prominent language. This paper discusses the switch from topic-prominent to subject-prominent language in Chinese-English (C-E) translation from the perspective of topic and subject. This paper selects cases from China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters (CATTI), and summarizes some strategies for subject conversion in C-E translation. Translation 1: Compared with the world, the geological mining conditions of coal resources in China are poor, most of the reserves need to be mined by Wells, and very little can be mined by open pit. Language is in the sensitive dynamic change, common words develop into catchwords, and in addition to its own development, more important is often from the external cause of social events. This paper takes network buzzwords as the entry point to analyze the “Mind” of buzzwords. Although the word has always appeared in the public’s vision, it has gained a lot of attention after developing into buzzwords driven by hot social events. Starting from the connotation, extension, and goal of labor education in higher vocational colleges, this paper emphasizes the necessity of developing labor education in higher vocational colleges. Combined with the Outcomes Based Education (OBE) teaching concept, this paper analyzes the assessment and evaluation of labor education from three aspects: the evaluation concept, evaluation method, and each link of labor education. The assessment and evaluation system of labor education in higher vocational colleges is preliminarily discussed.
