In the future, this can lead to the fact that the computing power of the network will be concentrated in the hands of a limited number of participants that contradicts the ideas of Bitcoin's creators about a distributed electronic payment system. This article describes one of the solutions to this problem, namely the use of ASIC-resistant hash functions in the proof-of-work system, which will help make EPS more distributed and, accordingly, more stable. The purpose of the study is to analyze ASIC-resistant hash functions. In the beginning, automation systems were based on electro-mechanical systems consisting of relays and contactors. Developments in semiconductor technology inevitably transformed the existing structure and cause electronic-controlled Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to prevail in the automation systems. PLCs consist of a microcontroller/microprocessor, relay or transistor for switching, isolating equipment such as opto-couplers and voltage converter/inverters. Industrial PLCs are quite expensive devices. In this study, design and implementation of a low-cost PLC using PIC18F4580 microcontroller are realized. Special software including a graphical user-interface is developed for programming the PLC and transferring code data to the device. The problem of identifying the parameters of the statistical model for the recognition of vehicles on the terrain is formulated and solved. The basis for constructing the recognition system is a training sample. In a single system, a large number of them can be used, which ultimately leads to more complicated adjustment of the PID regulators, which means that the difficulty in providing the required parameters of the transient process quality increases. The solution to this problem is the use of a fundamentally different controller in the control system, namely, linear-quadratic regulator. But it has a drawback — it is a non-zero static error. The ICG has several advantages compared with other methods as it is non-invasive, suitable for continuous measurement, simple to perform and provides accurate results. The difference between the values obtained using the direct Fick (standart parameter for evaluation) and ICG methods does not vary in any systematic way. The developed device is portable, communicate with PC via Bluetooth. The optimum values of the information packet characteristics are calculated according to various ratios of the signal energy parameters and interference in the channels. An algorithm of telemetry frame segmentation into subframes is presented. The number of elements in the subframes is maximal approximated to the number of information elements in packets of optimal length. Here the multiplicity condition of telemetry frame length is considered in relation to the number of subframe elements. The reasons for that are the constant development of the electric grid infrastructure and the growth of generating capacities. Breaking capacity of a large amount of switching equipment does not correspond to the calculated levels of short-circuit currents. Replacement of existing circuit breakers is expensive, because of which it is advisable to consider alternative technical solutions, including the implementation of the stationary sectioning of the electric network, which in turn requires consideration of a number of criteria for influencing the power system mode.
