It is a digital transformation, with a trend in digitalization and automation processes, and which in turn has a significant impact on the construction industry. Thus, the traditional construction project management has outgrown its basic elements and is focused on the challenges of comprehensive handling of mass data about the planned or built building. Therefore, managing construction projects today focuses on the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM), which is a digital platform where all information is collected in one place and accessible to all stakeholders throughout the construction project cycle. In this context, the basic education and continuous development of professionals through lifelong learning is so important. Through this learning, professionals acquire knowledge and competencies for working in this area, which is especially important for successful management of construction projects. Therefore, this chapter provides a more detailed overview of formal and informal learning at a higher education institution that focuses on advanced construction project management.","PeriodicalId":64912,"journal":{"name":"建设监理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81722794","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Projects of any kind are a crucial part of our world; they have become the way of thinking and inevitable foundation for successful businesses. In order to produce a desirable impact on the community, project goals must be achieved – in other words, projects must be successful. Nevertheless, it often seems that we live in a world of unsuccessful project endeavors. Many authors agree that problems occurring in implementation phase could have been foreseen in conceptualization and planning. Therefore, planning has been recognized as a critical phase for projects to succeed. High-quality plans enable easier procurement, contracting, monitoring and control – leading to a better project management and overall project success. One of the most popular project management tools for project planning, especially when it comes to budgets, is a well-known S-curve. S-curve is simple, clean, report and user-friendly. All the above is stressed on the special manner when it comes to the largest and most complex projects – infrastructure projects. In Croatia, as well as other EU members, infrastructure projects are mostly EU co-financed, and often contracted via FIDIC terms of contract, which makes planning phases even more important. This research was conducted in order to contribute to the improvement of baselines and projection of financial realization. Theoretical baseline and empirical S-curves on portfolio of FIDIC Red and Yellow Book contracted projects in water sector were analyzed and compared, with the aim of proposing adjusted prognostic S-curves of financial absorption and therefore contribute to more efficient planning and implementation of projects.","PeriodicalId":64912,"journal":{"name":"建设监理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81415247","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The abundance of materials measured in billions of tonnes is transferred annually within the economy, with minimal materials being cycled back. The construction sector uses approximately half of the materials extracted while generating a third or more of all waste. The current circular potential in the construction industry is yet to be exploited. This paper addresses the issue of materials embedded in buildings and the possibility of their reversible capacities. This paper aims to develop a systemic methodological framework on how to create, collect, process and present data that could facilitate the improvement of a more efficient recovery process of embedded building materials, especially their reuse and high-quality recycling during the renovation and demolition processes. The proposed framework defines a methodological approach for developing an interactive digital solution, a digital map, to increase circularity in a built environment by integrating spatial data and building information models (BIMs). To this end, a four-step methodological approach is introduced: (1) development of BIMs for the existing building stock; (2) allocation of material inventory data to BIMs; (3) calculation of circular economy indicators; and (4) digital solution integration into 3D Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This map may facilitate maximising the circular potential of buildings, support data transparency and broaden accessibility to a broad spectrum of market participants. It could be imbued with tools such as a digital building logbook with which it could share data.","PeriodicalId":64912,"journal":{"name":"建设监理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73795251","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This continues a long tradition of codifying the commercial usages into usances (uzance). It was, however, never sufficiently explored whether the commercial usages can at all be codified. Even if the answer is affirmative, it was not sufficiently explored whether the usances indeed reflect the existing commercial usages. The aim of this research paper is to bridge such gap by analysing the nature of usances and, in particular, the Special Usances in Construction. Several methods are used. First, the textual analysis of the usances. Second, the analysis of jurisprudence. Third, historical method, which explores the origin of usances in former Yugoslavia. The analysis leads to the conclusion that neither earlier usances nor the Special Usances in Construction reflect the existing commercial usages. Instead, they imitate statutory provisions, e.g. by containing the date of the entry into force and even (purportedly) mandatory provisions. Consequently, the Special Usances in Construction have to be qualified as a quasi-legislative instrument. Considering that the legislative power cannot be delegated, unless the parties agree on their application, the Special Usances in Construction cannot be used as a source of law.","PeriodicalId":64912,"journal":{"name":"建设监理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75432997","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A suitable data platform for real estate valuation entities should contain information about the spatial data of the urban grid in a structured form that is stored digitally and accessible to all. OpenStreetMap can be considered as such a platform. It is a relatively user-friendly open tool that can be used for spatial and market analysis. This activity is very necessary in the valuation process as it is very time consuming and requires extensive data collection. This paper examines the environmental spatial characteristics in the urban grid to see whether or not they have an impact on the price of housing. These influences are examined using a non-parametric test that allows two groups or conditions to be examined. The Mann-Whitney U test is a test for ordinal data that is similar to a two-sample t-test. Nonparametric tests are used when a certain distribution of the data cannot be assumed. The paper concludes by presenting a systematic approach to incorporating information on the urban grid characteristics under investigation into open data platforms to streamline the property valuation process. The results can be suitably generalized to other commodities and markets","PeriodicalId":64912,"journal":{"name":"建设监理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76054191","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, it is important to develop effective strategies for overcoming the negative impact of uncertainty, so the initial planning calculations can be accepted with higher confidence levels. The main purpose of this study is to propose a multi-objective optimization approach to manage prevailing uncertainty in the process of construction planning by producing resilient solutions. This framework deploys a comprehensive optimization problem and a metaheuristic solving procedure to devise baseline schedules that are resilient to prevailing uncertainty in complex construction projects. Such an approach leads to a higher probability of respecting both due date and budget restrictions in a construction project. Simulation results show that by inserting suitable floats in a baseline schedule, the overall capacity to absorb uncertain prolongations is improved. Since the stability of an initial schedule is enhanced, a resilient baseline solution leads to less frequent schedule updates during the execution phase and it facilitates subcontracting practices as well as resource procurement. Implementation of modern optimization methods in construction planning practices enables practical solving of complex scheduling problems that are important for general project management.","PeriodicalId":64912,"journal":{"name":"建设监理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76211341","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The novel approach presented in this paper intends to estimate structural viability for the architectural concept in the early preliminary draft. A fast collaborative export of geometrical data from the sketching app to the generative algorithm for the assembling of structural topology will be used to define analytical FE model. With pre-defined data, such as material information and the type of load-bearing system, a simple linear-elastic FE calculation will be conducted in order to analyse the structural parts in ultimate (ULS) and serviceability limit states (SLS) and point out the problematic places. Once the decision regarding the architectural design of the sketched structure is made, the compiled FE model will be afterwards transferred to a commercial FE software in order to undergo further, more detailed structural analysis. The advantage of the described modelling method is a) time saving as it generates a model directly upon architectural design, and b) by generation of the plausible FE model in the very early stages of planning and post-editing it during the process.","PeriodicalId":64912,"journal":{"name":"建设监理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85241630","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nevertheless, infrastructure projects are often prone to underachievement in budget, time, quality or goals. In order to find out the state of infrastructure project management in Croatia, as well as neighboring countries, the authors conducted research with the aim of detecting the most critical areas of infrastructure project management in the context of challenge and opportunity identification and connection. Systematic research steps were taken, based on the adoption of the framework analysis approach. 17 project management experts in the field of water, electricity, railway, road, port, gas, waste landfill, hospital, building and soft infrastructure participated in in-depth interviews. Their views on challenges, risks, opportunities and regional experience-sharing are discussed, the most significant concerning strategic planning, public procurement, project management competencies and public administration. On the basis of their answers and expert group engagement, a comprehensive framework for the transformation of infrastructure project challenges into opportunities is made. Finally, an applicable conclusion and recommendations for future research are given. The results of this research may be of service to project management experts, scholars and interested members of the public in the creation of epistemology on infrastructure projects and the maximization of their benefits.","PeriodicalId":64912,"journal":{"name":"建设监理","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79123782","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this work a simple analysis and basic classification of contemporary pneubotic structures in art and architecture is given to inform the design possibilities that opened with the emergence of this structural polytype. Based on the analysis of the characteristics they exhibit, various possible uses of pneubotics in architectural design are proposed.
