Therefore, this article aimed to develop media and learning resources by using a QRCode to improve digital literacy. This article used the Plomp model consisting of problem identification and analysis phase, development and prototyping phase, and assessment phase. The data were collected by distributing an online questionnaire and analyzed by using the descriptive-quantitative method. Based on this development study QR Code-based student worksheets fulfilled the practicality of 83.40% in the ‘practical’ category and the effectiveness seen from the score of the students’ literacy skills of 78.89% in the “Good/ Effective” category. The implication of this study is producing a product with a novelty and can be a reference for conducting effective and efficient learning.","PeriodicalId":56226,"journal":{"name":"Elementary Islamic Teacher Journal","volume":"120 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135851801","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The ability to comprehend mathematical concepts involves students' capacity to apply and utilize concepts in innovative ways based on their understanding. This research aims to measure and analyze the level of student understanding in mathematics, specifically focusing on the implementation of differentiation learning using the experience, interaction, communication, and reflection approach within the fifth-grade setting at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Differentiated learning, a well-known educational method, aims to accommodate diverse student needs, ensuring comprehensive understanding. To conduct this study, researchers divided students into three groups: the Lowest Common Multiple (LCM) group, the Butterfly group, and the Origami group, based on initial ability diagnoses. Subsequently, the learning process employed experience, interaction, communication, and reflection strategies. A mixed research method was utilized for data collection and analysis. The study's results, assessed through five indicators of student mathematical understanding, demonstrated a notable improvement in students' conceptual comprehension. The average gain test value of 0.451442 indicated a medium-level increase, with a significance level value of 0.05. Consequently, students receiving differentiated learning with the experience, interaction, communication, and reflection approach exhibited superior mathematical understanding compared to those receiving conventional instruction. Overall, this research provides empirical evidence supporting the effectiveness of differentiated learning, emphasizing the significance of incorporating experiential, interactive, communicative, and reflective methods to enhance students' mathematical comprehension.</p><p> </p>","PeriodicalId":56226,"journal":{"name":"Elementary Islamic Teacher Journal","volume":"151 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135851802","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The demographic factors used to describe, there were gender, type of school (public or private), length of teaching, age, and whether the teacher in question was certified as an educator. This numeracy competency was essential to explore because this skill was one of the most critical primary education goals; it helped realize successful advanced learning, social interaction, meeting the necessities of life, and global employment. This study used a design-based research (DBR) approach combined with professional learning community (PLC) and participatory action research (PAR), in which a sample of forty teachers was drawn equally from each group of teachers working groups (KKG). The data were taken using test instruments and analyzed using inferential statistical tests. The results showed that from the gender aspect, there was no difference in numeracy competence for both men and women. The second, based on the type of school, there was no difference in numeration competence between public and private schools. The third, from the length of teaching, it was found that teachers with a duration of education under five years had a higher numeracy score. The fourth, in terms of age, there was no difference in numeracy ability from twenty-five to fifty-six years. The conclusion, from the aspect of educator certification, was fascinating. Although not significant, there was an average difference in the numeracy ability test between teachers who were certified educators and those who were not certified, where teachers who did not have an educator certificate had a higher test average than those who already had an educator certificate.","PeriodicalId":56226,"journal":{"name":"Elementary Islamic Teacher Journal","volume":"174 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41284802","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
