The results of this study are: The use of pictogram media in Thematic learning can increase students' understanding in Civics subjects on the theme of the material Enjoyment of Proud as an Indonesian Nation marked by an increase in student learning mastery. Abstract

Educational problems arise with the increasing development of existing student abilities as well as situations and conditions that occur in the environment. The use of MI class teachers with a conventional approach is considered less effective, and causes boredom in the classroom.
