Somehow, this story about both treasures, both for us and for others, and here we also mean various international factors, never loses its significance. Although the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, as it has been known since 1999, is not under the jurisdiction of the state of Serbia, this topic is not extreme. Conflicts, wars, riots and the like in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija are an inseparable part of its history, and the background of all these unpleasant events is not only the territory as such, but precisely its enormous wealth that it possesses. In our paper, we referred to those riches, primarily ores, and why many have the desire to rule the southern Serbian province. The more brokers there are at various levels and in various areas in those areas, the less justice and rights there are, especially when it comes to the rights of the Serbian people and the protection of both their property and the property of the state of Serbia. In that sense, we pointed out the objective inability of the existing Kosovo judiciary to do its job, but also the subjective reasons, which are mostly of a political nature.","PeriodicalId":55747,"journal":{"name":"Megatrend Revija","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70994571","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The number of threats and challenges was mainly caused due to the suddenness of technological and scientific progress whose use has gone in the wrong direction. The past two years have been marked by the corona virus and its spread. It is very likely that this trend will continue in the coming period. Therefore, attention should be paid to the impact of the pandemic on human safety and the threat posed by the COVID-19 virus to the individual in various domains. As the importance of health security has not been sufficiently researched so far, the issue of the collapse of the global health system and the human security crisis should be viewed from various aspects. The COVID-19 virus is a global phenomenon and a security threat, which continuously puts every pillar of society in the world to the test. The Coronavirus disease, which developed into a pandemic, is not only perceived as a health crisis, but also as a national security issue. So it is up to governments to ensure not only the security of their borders and food supply, but also medical products and health. This requires the engagement of almost all the resources of a society, almost like in a war, in which in fact we are: in a war against the virus. Health has become an issue of national security and international diplomacy to the same extent.","PeriodicalId":55747,"journal":{"name":"Megatrend Revija","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70994755","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To achieve these goals, data from various researches conducted during 2020 on the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on the world tourism industry were used, as well as relevant statistical data from international organizations and state institutions of the Republic of Serbia. The paper concluded that travel agencies are highly dependent on state aid, but these resources are also limited. All solutions proposed by the Government of the Republic of Serbia are time-limited until the end of 2021 when there is hope that the virus will weaken, in which the planned vaccination of the population should play a major role. For travel agencies to be able to overcome situations such as the virus pandemic in the future, they need to work on new programs and adapt to new target groups and markets. New sales channels need to be opened, in case of some new crises, so that the agencies are ready and able to survive under the given circumstances.","PeriodicalId":55747,"journal":{"name":"Megatrend Revija","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70992016","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The most significant problem is the growth of credit risk and the huge growth of demand for liquid assets. The crisis has also increased the risks associated with the digitalization of banking business and brought new risks posed by the work of employees from home. The timely reaction of regulatory authorities, at the global level, and the willingness of the monetary and fiscal authorities of all countries to cooperate have shown a very positive effect on the stability of the banking system.","PeriodicalId":55747,"journal":{"name":"Megatrend Revija","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70992097","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In modern times, perfidious systems of activity of organized crime groups are coming to light, especially in the field of organized crime. One such criminal activity is certainly money laundering, which is increasingly becoming a serious international problem. Money laundering is basically the legalization of capital acquired through criminal activity. As a criminal activity, it directly negatively affects the economics, political, legal, cultural and other significant values of a society. The most visible consequences of money laundering (most of which are economics in nature) are: undermining the integrity of financial markets, eroding control over economics policy, economic instability, loss of public revenue, deformation of savings and consumption, jeopardizing reform programs, loss of state reputation, etc. Money laundering is a complex and serious challenge for states and the entire international community. Considering that national strategies are not sufficient to combat this problem, a successful transnational approach and strategy are required.","PeriodicalId":55747,"journal":{"name":"Megatrend Revija","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70992224","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper, which aims to contribute to the expert public debate on the introduction of euthanasia into Serbian legislation, the term terminology - euthanasia (as the Right to Die with Dignity) is the first to have been terminologically clarified. Furthermore, the text considers the obligations of other persons, arising out of this right and under what conditions the obligations of other persons arising from the said right constitute a restriction of their personality rights. By citing examples in the field of ethics and law, the text notes that the distinction between active and passive euthanasia is in fact a product of inadequate thinking in the implementation of this distinction. Based on the ethical argumentation of the double effect, also the text points to the inadequacy of the ethical approach in the function of legal regulation of the problem of euthanasia. Using abundant literature, which, from the legal and ethical point of view, problematizes euthanasia, the author has come to conclusion that the right to dignity is a social value that needs to be lawfully formulated, so that possible abuses can be prevented - and at the same time avoiding burdening the burden of responsibility to other persons (whether or not these are subjects of the judiciary or medicine), who should implement the patient's desire to die with dignity. Also, the author sought to base this article on the belief that Serbian legislation should legally shape the conditions for active direct euthanasia.","PeriodicalId":55747,"journal":{"name":"Megatrend Revija","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70992546","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The process of reconciliation is based on the building of multiethnic societies democracy, the rule of law and tolerance in the region largely depend on solving this complex problem. At the same time, it is the obligation of the competent authorities towards the families of missing persons who have the right to know the truth about the fate of their loved ones. As the solution of the problem of missing persons should be approached primarily as humanitarian law, it was noticed that from the very beginning of this process there is a high degree of politicization. Although the need to find out the truth about the fate of persons who disappeared during the armed conflicts is expressed primarily among their family members, and then sporadically appears on the agenda of meetings of statesmen in the region, in reality there are real obstacles to the search for missing persons. These obstacles range from insufficient capacity of state bodies involved in the search for missing persons, insufficient financial resources, to a lack of political will to improve regional cooperation and a determination to make the search for missing persons more efficient. As a consequence of the described situation, it is evident that the process is slowing down and giving priority to activities on the ethnic rather than humanitarian principle, which would enable this problem to be solved to approximately the same scope and dynamics in the entire region. Also, an insufficient degree of cooperation and openness in the exchange of information between participants in the process and cooperation for the necessary planning and synchronization of activities and the most precise determination of the dynamics in the process of exhumations and identifications in the region was noticed. Therefore, the denial of information on abductees and missing persons was characterized as a gross violation of the human rights of their family members. On the other hand, there remains an obligation that all perpetrators of crimes such as kidnappings and other acts of violence against civilians must be brought to justice in accordance with international norms and applicable domestic law. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to show the importance of consistent application of international legal frameworks in the protection of the rights of missing persons and their families, with special reference to the relationship between international and national legal framework for clarifying the fate of missing persons.","PeriodicalId":55747,"journal":{"name":"Megatrend Revija","volume":"108 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70992619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It essentially involves the application of capital appreciation through a yield method of calculation. The data obtained by applying this method are confidently presented in the results of the assessment team, which are submitted to the top management of the company. The aim of this paper is to show the advantages of applying the method of estimating the value of the capital of the company, because in comparison with other methods of valuation, this method is viewed as a unique entity for profit making. The authors conclude that the use of DNT reveals a link between the achieved business results of the enterprise as measured by the size of the profit and the expression of the enterprise value. The contribution of the study's authors is that they have discovered a link between the value of a business and its ability to fertilize borrowed capital and make a profit.","PeriodicalId":55747,"journal":{"name":"Megatrend Revija","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70992840","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the research and writing of the scientific paper, the method of analysis, the historical method and the inductive-deductive method were used. Thereby, the result was that in the distant past it was debated and appealed to practice cultural diplomacy and to conventionally prescribe how states should behave, ie not to endanger, destroy or damage the cultural wealth of the endangered state. Such conventions, instructions and declarations have been created, accepted, ratified, but still, there are military attacks aimed at achieving territorial domination, which directly endangers the cultural wealth of the states. This means that weaknesses in cultural diplomacy still exist and it is necessary to work towards overcoming them. In this scientific research, we will pay special attention to the use of cultural diplomacy in the protection of the cultural treasures of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija.","PeriodicalId":55747,"journal":{"name":"Megatrend Revija","volume":"30 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70992964","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Turkish government considered the teachers to be the people actively working on achieving Serbian national interests, and the schools were believed to be places where the utmost authority of the Turkish government and state is being constantly undermined. Educational politics sought to make schools places where students and bearers of national cultural prosperity are educated. Perceived this way, elementary school and conception of education and upbringing, instigated high demands from future educators. Teachers were required to be both transmitters of knowledge as well as the national workers and educators. Unable to start fundamental social changes, teachers focused their social work on awakening national consciousness and preserving school self-government based on the privileges of the Patriarchate and on informing the Consulate about all events in their area. Serbian government used their reports for official protests in front of Turkish Porta as well as for informing the world public about the position of their countrymen in Ottoman Empire. Thus, most of all, the Turkish state authorities challenged the work permit of Serbian schools. Teachers had to confirm their school diplomas before the competent authorities in the town of Skoplje, which fundamentally changed the social position of Serbian schools.","PeriodicalId":55747,"journal":{"name":"Megatrend Revija","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70993026","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
