In that context, examining the diversity of Balinese society is certainly very interesting considering it is not just a \"reality\", but also a necessity and a need. Thus, the pockets of community diversity become an important benchmark because it is like a seeding ground for pluralism and the articulative medium of community experimentation in addressing differences. This is where the attractive village of Loloan Jembrana as a village that is predominantly Muslim in the midst of strong Hindu influence. This village can be a picture of a plural-culturally religious community life. The rise of such  movement is interesting to be studied so as to gain deeper understanding on the relationship between expression of religious piety and culture in the context of Indonesia. This article focuses on the case of enforced closure on transgender Islamic school (Pesantren Waria) and rejection of Easter celebration conducted by Religious forum in Yogyakarta. The incompatibility of cultural products and dominant religious (Islamic) values is the major reason underlying the movement’s action, which tends to exert renunciation radically. Furthermore, such act of rejection in some cases resulted deprivation of freedom and rights of individuals in assembling and holding a religious belief based on their faith, even inflicted a violation to certain group of people. The religious movement activism makes the dilemma, on the one side a form of enforcement of the Shari'ah, but on the other side creates anomalies that depriving expression rights.The analysis of the article’s identified problems are explained into three forms of conclusion; First, the phenomenon of religious movement activism is understood as deviant subculture through which they set a standard of conduct derived from their own conception of truth. There is reaction-formation pattern found, where this subculture constitutes values and norms from the key culture. They reject other values and considering their delinquent norms are the correct ones, which subsequently enact those as the standard of behavior. Second, there is construction of collective religious identity integrated with ethnic identity. Third, such religious identity construct is increasingly established as moral legitimacy in existing social order. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui stategi komunikasi politik yang dipakai PDI Perjuangan selama Pemilu 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi  dan wawancara mendalam. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan model analisis interaktif meliputi reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Temuan alam penelitian ini adalah model komunikasi politik PDI Perjuangan lebih pada model transaksional. Model komunikasi ini menggambarkan proses komunikasi yang berlangsung secara berkesinambungan antara pengirim pesan (partai dan caleg) serta penerima pesan (masyarakat). Tentunya selama kampanye ada kendala atau gangguan, salah satunya yang paling dirasakan adalah politik uang. So feel quite satisfied with the information obtained from the media without the want to prove the truth and do not want to learn to find out. As if throwing science, damaging practices, and not willing to develop new science. Again the citizens were reluctant and felt already had enough information to make a decision. The death of expertise is not only the rejection of the already established knowledge, but the rejection of science and and the impartial rationality that is the basis of modern civilization. Most of the responses were shown against the presence of the Internet as a biang. Too simple, or lest this is just an anxiety among professional circles that occurs whenever there is a social or technological change. Ngajahul is done on the sixth or seventh day after death. Analysis of the ritual of death illustrates that the ritual of death is not only a spiritual-fiqhiyyah aspect, but also has a role in describing social relations. The graveyard that lay in the cemetery, not only shows the grave, but also describes the relationship between the deceased, the family and the social environment. This research in a sociological perspective produces the concept that the rituals of death and society, especially Muslim societies in various aspects are referred to as containing social cohesion. This concept illustrates that death rituals are not as depicted in recitation forums that see death rituals as a tradition laden with rituals that are spiritually nuanced. Giving the balance answer to the research focus, in this research qualitative and quantitative paradigm put in mutual position. With one sense, the quantitative approach is main approach, and qualitative approach is supporting approach (mixing method). To the main approach (quantitative) it will be represented by survey method using Spearman Rank Correlation Analysis as a tool to analyze factors that affect PKL interpretation to the relocation policy. The supporting approach (qualitative) is represented by “in-depth-interview” using Miles and Huberman interactive analysis as a tool in answering something that be related by emic meaning perspective from research that cannot be explained with quantitative approach alone. The results show that interpretation as introduction method the relation of stimulus and PKL response to relocation policy formed negatively. Negative interpretation shows that PKL at the Pasuruan Town Square see relocation policy as a threat in their business. At least, there are two important questions that must be answered by sociology:  first, what are the characteristics of cyber reality that become the new study area of sociology? Second, how should sociology be reconstructed to understand the new model of society in cyberspace? Through meta-theory study, this research takes two conclusions. First, virtual reality has a character that is different from real reality in daily life. But, frequently, virtual reality is experienced by individuals like everyday life reality, or even more real than real reality. Through the characteristics of simulation, interaction, artificiality, immersion, telepresence, networked communication and anonymity, virtual reality is transformed into a part of everyday life that cannot be separated from human life. Second, facing this new reality, sociology must adjust its scientific construction. Reconstruction of sociology can be initiated by defining what is actually the object of sociological studies on cyber society. The authors used a descriptive qualitative approach finishing this article. The data in this article sourced from observations, studies of literature, and other sources considered relevant and then analyzed by the social exchange theory of Peter Blau. The results of this study indicate that the high concern of societies watching the lives of poor people in various charity show programs besides creating profits for the company, it is also as media of political communication for the owner. When political actors control the media, there are interests communicated, including getting support from voters. That means charity show programs not only given a numerous business profit but also enhanced social branding in front of audiences and built a base of loyal voters from poor family beneficiaries by unbalanced social exchanges that create client debt to patrons. Intisari Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan strategi Partai Perindo dalam membangun basis pemilih pada Pemilihan Umum tahun 2019, khususnya melalui program charity show media televisi. Dalam menyelesaikan penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam tulisan ini bersumber dari hasil observasi, kajian literatur, serta sumber-sumber lainnya yang dianggap relevan dan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan perspektif teori pertukaran sosial Peter Blau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingginya animo masyarakat menyaksikan tayangan tentang kehidupan orang miskin dalam berbagai program charity show selain menciptakan “ladang uang” bagi stasiun televisi, juga menjadi sarana komunikasi politik bagi pemiliknya. Ketika aktor politik menguasai media, maka ada kepentingan yang juga turut dikomunikasikan dalam menjalankan media tersebut, termasuk sebagai corong politik kekuasaan untuk mendapatkan dukungan dari masyarakat pemilih. Artinya, program charity show ini tidak hanya memberi keuntungan bisnis yang sangat besar, tetapi juga media komunikasi politik, meningkatkan pencitraan di depan khalayak, dan membangun basis pemilih loyal dari keluarga prasejahtera penerima manfaat melalui mekanisme pertukaran sosial tidak seimbang yang menciptakan hutang budi klien terhadap patron. River restoration is effort to recover the function and natural condition of river. The government has implemented programs to improve some degraded rivers. Civil society organizations (CSO) and communities have initiated various actions to restore the rivers in some regions. By positioning the concept of river restoration as part of environmental movement, the article describes the Karang Mumus river restoration initiated by a CSO in the city of Samarinda. The CSO has practiced environmental education as an entry point and platform of actions for river restoration. The environmental education has engaged individuals and social groups in the city. They have learned and practiced actions to restore the river. Even though the more actions are still needed to recover the river, to some extent the CSO has been able to put river restoration as a centre of environmental activism in the city. Kondisi umum sungai-sungai di Indonesia adalah rusak dan tercemar. Restorasi sungai adalah upaya untuk mengembalikan fungsi dan kondisi alamiah dari sungai. Pemerintah telah mengimplementasikan berbagai program untuk memperbaiki kondisi sungai yang rusak dan tercemar. Berbagai komunitas dan organisasi masyarakat sipil (OMS) telah mengambil prakarsa untuk melakukan restorasi sungai di sejumlah daerah. Dengan menempatkan restorasi sungai sebagai bagian dari gerakan lingkungan, artikel ini memaparkan gerakan restorasi sungai Karang Mumus di Kota Samarinda. OMS mempraktikkan pendidikan lingkungan sebagai titik masuk dan platform aksi dalam melakukan upaya restorasi sungai. Pendidikan lingkungan telah mampu melibatkan warga individual dan kelompok-kelompok sosial di kota ini. Mereka belajar dan mempraktikan aksi-aksi restorasi sungai.
