Penelitian tentang status stok merupakan salah satu dasar utama dalam merumuskan pengelolaan menuju pemanfaatannya secara berkelanjutan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dinamika penangkapan, parameter populasi serta tingkat pemanfaatan lobster pasir (Panulirus homarus) dan lobster batu (Panulirus penicillatus) di perairan Gunung Kidul. Pengumpulan data bulanan dilakukan dengan bantuan enumerator dari bulan Januari sampai dengan Oktober 2016 menggunakan metode survey. Parameter populasi dianalisis dengan program FISAT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat tangkap yang digunakan untuk menangkap lobster adalah jaring lobster dan jaring krendet. Musim penangkapan berlangsung sepanjang tahun dengan puncaknya antara bulan Oktober sampai dengan Desember. Struktur ukuran lobster pasir berkisar antara 35-100 mm (panjang karapas) dan untuk lobster batu berkisar antara 30-110 mm (panjang karapas). Ukuran rata-rata pertama kali tertangkap (Lc) kedua jenis lobster tersebut umumnya lebih kecil dari ukuran rata-rata pertama kali matang kelamin (Lm). Laju pertumbuhan (K) lobster tergolong rendah dan laju kematian karena penangkapan (F) lebih besar dari laju kematian almiah (M). Laju eksploitasi (E) lobster pasir adalah 0,66 per tahun dan untuk lobster batu adalah 0,52 per tahun, dengan demikian status stok lobster sudah berada pada penangkapan berlebih (overfishing). Agar sumber daya lobster terjamin kelestariannya, maka harus dilakukan pengurangan upaya dari jumlah upaya yang ada saat ini.The high market demand for the spiny lobster cause an intensive fishing for its resources efforts in Gunung Kidul and adjacent waters and tend to threatening their sustainability. Studies for spiny lobster stock status are the main foundations for formulating a management for sustainable utilization. The purpose of this study was to determine the fishing dynamic, population parameters and exploitation rate of scalopped spiny lobster (Panulirus homarus) and pronghorn spiny lobster (Panulirus penicillatus) in Gunung Kidul and adjacent waters. Monthly data were collected by enumerators. Study was conducted in Gunung Kidul and adjacent waters from January to October 2016 using a survey method. The results showed that the main fishing gears for spiny lobster were lobster net (bottom gillnet monofilament) and krendet net (hoop net). Fishing season of this lobster occur throughout the yearly with the peak season at October to December. The carapace length range for scalopped and pronghorn spiny lobsters were in the range of 35-100 mm and 30-110 mm, respectively. Kegiatan penangkapan di waduk ini telah lama dilakukan baik oleh nelayan sekitar maupun luar daerah. Saat ini telah terjadi indikasi adanya penurunan produksi sebagai akibat adanya degradasi sumber daya ikan dan lingkungan serta intensitas penangkapan yang tinggi. Diperlukan upaya pengelolaan untuk meningkatkan produksi ikan di Waduk Malahayu. Salah satu upaya tersebut adalah dengan melakukan penebaran ikan secara rutin baik oleh instansi pemerintah maupun nelayan setempat. Salah satu faktor keberhasilan penebaran ikan terhadap peningkatan produksi adalah jumlah padat tebar yang memadai. Akan tetapi, kajian mengenai jumlah padat tebar yang memadai melalui pendekatan model matematis belum banyak dilakukan. Model matematis mampu memperhitungkan aspek lain seperti penebaran kembali dan penangkapan ke dalam satu kajian model holistik dan analitik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi jumlah benih nila yang sebaiknya ditebar. Kondisi populasi ikan nila digambarkan dengan skenario laju pertumbuhan logistik, dengan pertimbangan adanya penebaran dan penangkapan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa jumlah benih nila untuk ditebar sehingga dapat meningkatkan produksi adalah sekitar 8 ton/tahun atau setara dengan 533.333 ekor/tahun. Hasil dari kajian ini diharapkan bermanfaat bagi pengelolaan sumber daya ikan di Waduk Malahayu melalui pemulihan sumber daya. Fish stocking has been done as an effort to increase fish stock in Malahayu Reservoir. The need to fish stocking is due to the degradation of environment, fish resources and high exploitation either, lead to the decreasing of fish production on those reservoir. Fish stocking that intensively done by local government and community does not yet give an impact to the increasing of fish production. The amount of stocked seeds by using mathematical model approach has not done yet. Mathematical model approach is able to consider other aspects such as restocking activities and fishing into a holistic and analytical study. The current research aimed to estimate the amount of seed of Tilapia that properly stocked in Malahayu Reservoir. Population condition of Tilapia is described by logistic growth rate scenario, taking into account of stocking and fishing. In effort to increase the production, the amount of Tilapia should be stocked about 8 tonnes/year or 533.333 individuals/year. Sejauh ini informasi mengenai status stok sebagai dasar pengelolaannya masih sangat terbatas. Salah satu pendekatan untuk menduga status stok yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan penandaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi sumberdaya lobster pasir dan dinamika pemanfaatanya di Perairan Prigi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan tandai-lepas-tangkap kembali (Capture-Mark-Recapture/CMR), sedangkan analisis potensi lobster mengacu pada Petersen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perikanan lobster termasuk kategori perikanan artisanal (small scale fisheries) yang dijalankan paruh waktu dan dilakukan secara one day fishing. Alat tangkap yang digunakan meliputi; jaring insang (gillnet), krendet (trap net) dan bubu (trap net). Penyebaran lokasi penangkapan di sepanjang tebing pantai berkarang di pesisir Teluk Prigi. Musim puncak penangkapan terjadi pada bulan Oktober-Maret. Karakteristik hasil tangkapan yang didaratkan masih didominasi oleh ukuran larang tangkap yakni mempunyai panjang karapas < 8 cm atau pada kisaran bobot 200-300 g per ekor yang mana proporsi ini mencapai 84,79% dari total tangkapan. Potensi Lobster Pasir di Teluk Prigi adalah 1,19 ton/th dengan tingkat pemanfaatannya baru sekitar 44,53 %. Spiny lobster is a superior fishery commodity that is utilized quite intensively in Prigi, Trenggalek Regency. However information about the status of stocks as a basis for management is still very limited. One approach to estimating stock status that can be done is by marking. This study aims to determine the potential of spiny lobster resources from type of sand lobster, and the dynamics of its utilization in the Prigi Bay waters. The research method uses the Capture-mark-recapture (CMR) approach, while the analysis of lobster stock potential refers to Petersen. The results showed that lobster fisheries were categorized as artisanal fisheries (small scale fisheries) which were run part-time and carried out one day fishing. The fishing gear used includes; net (gillnet), trap net is called as krendet and bubu. Distribution of fishing location along the rugged coastal cliffs on the coast of Prigi waters. The peak for catching season occurs in October-March. The characteristics of the landed catches are still dominated by the no-take size carapace length <8 cm or in the weight range of 200-300 g per tail which reaches 84,79% of the total catch. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi jenis Gastropoda dan Bivalvia perairan tawar, diharapkan menjadi basis data tentang biodiversitas Gastropoda dan Bivalvia di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Penelitian menggunakan metode purposive randhom sampling. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara manual dan diawetkan dengan larutan alkohol 70%. Identifikasi jenis dilakukan di Laboratorium Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Halu Oleo Kendari. Komposisi jenis Bivalvia dan Gastropoda perairan tawar di Sulawesi Tenggara - Klaster Daratan, diperoleh 11 Famili, 19 Genus dan 102 Spesies yang terdiri dari 33 jenis dengan status identified atau teridentifikasi sampai dengan tingkat spesies dan 69 jenis berstatus unidentified atau teridentifikasi hanya sampai ketingkat genus (genus Clithon 42 jenis, genus Septaria 2 Jenis dan genus Melanoides 25 jenis). Bivalvia dan Gastropoda yang berstatus unidentified didominasi oleh famili Neritidae genus Clithon dan famili Thiaridae genus Melanoides. Sedangkan yang berstatus identified juga didominasi oleh famili Neritidae, Thiaridae, Ampullariidae dan Corbicullidae. Disimpulkan bahwa Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara secara empirik memiliki biodiversitas gastropoda dan bivalvia air tawar yang sangat tinggi. Bivalvia and freshwater Gastropod research in Southeast Sulawesi was conducted in January-December 2018 in (eight) Regencies or municipality in Southeast Sulawesi Province, covering Kendari City, Konawe Selatan District, Bombana Regency, Kolaka Regency, Kolaka Utara Regency, Kolaka Timur Regency, Regency Konawe and Konawe Utara District. This study aims to determine the composition of freshwater gastropods and bivalves in Southeast Sulawesi Province - Mainland Clusters. This study aims to determine the composition of Gastropod and Bivalvia species of freshwater waters, is expected to be a database of Gastropod and Bivalvia biodiversity in Southeast Sulawesi Province. The study used a purposive randhom sampling method. Sampling was done manually and preserved with 70% alcohol solution. Species identification was carried out at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Halu Oleo University, Kendari. Analisis dilakukan sejalan dengan tren penurunan aktivitas penangkapan kapal pukat cincin yang berpangkalan di Pekalongan Jawa Tengah yang telah berlangsung selama hampir dua dekade. Teori klasik tentang penangkapan ikan mengisyaratkan bahwa pemulihan populasi ikan dapat berlangsung cepat jika penangkapan ikan dihentikan pada rentang waktu tertentu.  Analisis menggunakan pendekatan surplus produksi non-ekuilibrium dengan bantuan perangkat aplikasi ASPIC 7 dan Kobe plot digunakan untuk  memetakan perubahan arah status stok ikan pelagis kecil yang berkaitan langsung dengan perilaku perkembangan perikanan pukat cincin di laut Jawa pada kurun waktu 1976 - 2014.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penurunan drastis baik jumlah armada pukat cincin maupun aktivitas penangkapannya akibat rendahnya peluang keberhasilan dan tingginya investasi operasional hampir dua dekade  telah telah memberikan peluang terhadap pemulihan stok secara alamiah menuju tingkat biomassa optimal.  Pergerakan status biomasa dan mortalitas penangkapan ikan pelagis kecil secara tahunan yang ditampilkan melalui penggunaan Kobe plot memberikan indikasi bahwa kondisi stok ikan setelah tahun 2015 mengarah pada status yang cenderung baik. The main objective of this paper is to evaluate the status and trend of small pelagic fish stocks (Decapterus spp.) as a major driver of economics in north coast of Java correspond to a direct reduction of purse seine fishing activities at around two decades. Classical theory of fishing suggests that rapid population recovery occurs when fishing pressures is reduced. These phenomenons were analyzed by applying non-equilibrium surplus production model incorporate covariance of the programs package of Aspic 7.  Simple Kobe plots were also applied to track the annual trend of stock status directly which presumably related to the course of fisheries development.  The results showed that drastic decline of fishing pressures of both number of purse seine fleet and their activity within the last decade provided an opportunity of stock recovery at optimum biomass levels. Perubahan ekosistem pantai, seperti terjadinya pendangkalan menyebabkan penurunan luasan mangrove. Dampak yang terjadi merupakan penyumbang bagi kerentanan sumberdaya kepiting bakau di daerah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat resiko potensi kerentanan sumber daya kepiting bakau dan keberlanjutannya di estuari Sungai Mahakam Kalimantan Timur. Analisis kerentanan menggunakan perangkat lunak PSA (Productivity and Susceptibility Analysis). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa potensi kepiting bakau di Eestuari Mahakam mempunyai kerentanan tingkat rendah (tingkat kerentanan =1,3). Nilai produktivitas (kemampuan pulih sumber daya) menunjukan nilai yang lebih tinggi (2,1) dari pada nilai susceptabilitas (tingkat resiko sumber daya ikan terhadap aktivitas perikanan di perairan tersebut) yaitu 1,9. Dengan kondisi tersebut maka peluang keberlanjutan ketersediaan kepiting bakau di estuari Mahakam berada dalam tingkat sedang.Estuaries constitute an extremely valuable natural resource in the coastal areas. The coastal ecosystem changes such as deforestation of the estuarine caused the decrease of mangrove forestry. These impacts directly contribute to the vulnerability of mud crab resources. The purpose of this research was to determine the risk level of potential vulnerability of mangrove crab resources in the Mahakam estuary. Vulnerability analysis using Productivity and Susceptibility Analysis (PSA) software. The results showed that mangrove crabs in the Mahakam estuary were low vulnerable (vulnerability level of 1.3). Value of productivity (the ability to recover resources) higher than susceptibility (level of risk of fish resources to fisheries activities in those areas). Teknologi alat bantu ini menyebabkan sumberdaya ikan tuna semakin rentan terhadap penangkapan. Hal ini berarti jika perikanan berbasis rumpon tidak dikendalikan, keberlanjutan sumberdaya akan terancam. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan pada tanggal 24 November hingga 3 Desember 2015 di perairan selatan Palabuhanratu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan lokasi dan periode waktu sebagai daerah penangkapan ikan yang layak. Pengamatan mengunakan teknologi hidroakustik portable scientific echosounder SIMRAD EY60, dengan lintasan perekaman mengelilingi rumpon berbentuk bintang (star survey). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dugaan daerah penangkapan ikan tuna layak tangkap di sekitar rumpon berada pada kedalaman 200 hingga 500 meter dengan puncak keberadaan terjadi pada pagi hari.Most of tuna fishing fleet in Indonesia are using FADs as fishing tools. This technology leads tuna resources to be more susceptible to fishing activity. If the fisheries not well managed, the sustainability of fish resources will be threatened. The study was conducted from November 24th until December 3rd 2015 in south of Pelabuhanratu waters. The aims of this study to determine the location and time period as a suitable fishing areas. The studied through underwater acoustic devices portable scientific echosounder SIMRAD EY60 with star survey patterns around the FAD. Tulisan ini mengkaji nisbah kelamin, rata-rata ukuran pertama kali tertangkap dan catch per-unit of effort (CPUE) lobster kipas di perairan Kupang dan sekitarnya. Kedua spesies lobster kipas yang dianalisis merupakan hasil tangkapan sampingan jaring krendet yang dilakukan oleh nelayan setempat. Jenis data yang dianalisis meliputi data penangkapan dan biologi lobster yang dikumpulkan selama periode Oktober 2015 - Desember 2016. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua jenis lobster kipas hasil tangkapan sampingan di perairan Kupang, yaitu Scyllarides haanii dan Thenus indicus dengan komposisi hasil tangkapan T. indicus lebih banyak dari S. haanii. Rata-rata ukuran panjang pertama kali tertangkap (Lc) untuk lobster T. indicus betina berdasarkan panjang karapas adalah sekitar 93,79 dan 94,18 mm untuk jantan, sedangkan untuk lobster S. haanii betina adalah 101,40 mm dan 104,06 mm untuk jantan. Nisbah kelamin dari kedua jenis lobster ini masih dalam kondisi seimbang. Rata-rata nilai CPUE lobster jenis T. indicus 3,7 kg/trip lebih besar dibandingkan dengan nilai CPUE S. haanii sebesar 0,8 kg/trip. Nilai CPUE dari tiap-tiap lokasi penangkapan tidak berbeda nyata antar lokasi penangkapan.The utilization of slipper lobster (Scyllaridae) caught in around Kupang waters is increased continuously, however a little information on its stock and biological aspect is available. This paper describes sex ratio, length at first capture and the catch per-unit of effort (CPUE) of the slipper lobster population in the Kupang and surrounding waters. Both slpper lobsters analyzed are a by-catch of a gillnet operated by local fishermen. The data analysized included cacth and biology of lobster collected during the period of October 2015 to December 2016. Results show that there were two types of slipper lobster as by-catch in Kupang waters, namely Scyllarides haanii and Thenus indicus with the number of T. indicus higher than S. haanii. The first lengths of captured (Lc) for female T. indicus based on carapac lenght was 93.79 and 94.18 mm for male, while female S. haanii were 101.40 mm (female) and 104.06 mm for male. The sex ratio of both types of lobsters was still in a balanced condition. The average CPUE of T. indicus was 3.7 kg/trip, higher than that CPUE value of S. haanii of only 0.8 kg/trip. Untuk mengkaji interaksi antara kondisi oseanografi dengan sebaran spasial ikan pelagis di Laut Jawa, telah dilakukan penelitian hydro acoustic dengan menggunakan KR. Bawal Putih III pada 17 Oktober-11 November 2017. Akuisisi data akustik menggunakan multi beam Simrad ME (70-120 kHz) dengan posisi transduser dipasang pada lunas kapal. Parameter lingkungan (oksigen, pH, salinitas, klorofil, suhu) diukur menggunakan CTD SBE 19 plus V2 dan parameter oseanogafi fisik (arah dan kecepatan arus) menggunakan ARM current meter, keduanya diturunkan secara vertikal sesuai kedalaman pada 48 stasiun. Analisa korelasi antara parameter oseanografi dengan kelimpahan ikan dan distribusi spasial menggunakan analisis statistik PCA (Principal Component Analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan densitas ikan pelagis dipengaruhi secara berturut-turut oleh salinitas, oksigen, klorofil, pH dan suhu. Urutan ini didasarkan pada jarak dan kedekatan terhadap garis yang dibentuk faktor lingkungan terhadap titik pusat korelasi. Komponen lingkungan yang memiliki interaksi langsung dengan kelimpahan ikan pelagis adalah salinitas dan oksigen. Kedua faktor ini merupakan faktor utama dalam kegiatan osmoregulasi dan pembentukan energi untuk tubuh ikan, sementara keempat faktor lingkungan lainnya (klorofil pH, suhu dan kecepatan arus) berkorelasi secara parsial terhadap keberadaan ikan pelagis.The density and distribution of fish resources in the waters are much influenced by variations in oceanographic conditions. To examine interaction between oceanographic condition with spatial distribution of pelagic fish in Java Sea, hydroacoustic research was done using KR. Bawal Putih III on October 17 to November 11, 2017. Acoustic data acquisition used Simrad ME multi beam (70-120 kHz) with the position of the transducer installed on the keel. Environmental parameters (oxygen, pH, salinity, chlorophyll, temperature) were measured using the SBE 19 plus V2 CTD and physical oceanographic parameter (current direction and speed) using the ARM current meter, both are lowered vertically according to depth at 48 station. Correlation analysis between oceanographic parameter with fish abundance and spatial distribution using PCA (Principal Component Analysis) statistical analysis. Results show that density of pelagic fish was influenced respectively by salinity, oxygen, chlorophyll, pH and temperature. This sequence based on distance and proximity to the line formed by environmental factors towards the center of correlation. The environmental components that have a direct interaction with the abundance of pelagic fish are salinity and oxygen.
